Try searching in google ansers and try removing the main virus and then the
virus may stop. The main route of the virus must be removed.
May be google has some software for that removal.
Try this.

[AI] laptop infected. please help

2008-01-08 Thread Abdul Razique Khan
Hello list members,

My laptop has been infected by a virus. A file named "Funny UST
Scandal.avi.exe" is automatically created in many of the directeries. On
deleting the file, it is created again and again. I am using AVG anti virus, so
everytime I open any directery, the AVG resident shield opens. I then select
the move to vault option, but nothing happens. AVG is unable to heal that
virus. Please help me to resolve this problem as working on the computer is
turning out to be hectic, with this virus.

Expecting a solution and thanking you in anticipation.

Hello, Try using avast free home edition. If you dont have it download the
latest free edition and try scanning.
If you want to register it just go to the same page which I have given try
it again or search in google and register your avast if you want it
permanently.
You can download it from

Choose the english version.

Not very much, but you could try it just by the help of some one, basically
you could try scanning by going to windows explorer and by pressing alt and
by arrows going to scan and try it.

Go to control panel and get to add/remove programs. Try to see if there are
unusual programs installed in your computer. Also try to search for this
file extention and there should be a new spyware or some other program with
DLL or exe extention and it should be duplicating such files. Notten really
is better in that sense and it removes many of such files.

Dont try to format on the begining according to my opinion, I have seen the
virus file name, you can find your answers there, Try downloading one of the
files as they tell you, and still if it doesn't work, do the next.
I had the problem that I could not open google websites, but now I can I
updated the free version of avg and avast and Each program found some virus
at different times and it is done.
It is working perfectly.
Hoping it works.
Try visiting google answers, or try typing funny. the virus name and you
will get suggessions on google.
