Don't know why, but I am also facing the same problem. I got a suggestion from this list itself which I am using effectivly. Press the right mouce button on the message link and press enter on open. This same or similar kind of problem has been recently discussed in our access india list and if I remember exactly, someone in this list have provided this following solution. Just go to your yahoo mail box. Place the cursor over the e-mail that you are intending to open. press right mouse button and you will get some options and the the first one should be open. Dear Mamta, I faced a similar problem yesterday while trying to access Yahoo mails through Internet Explorer. But there were no problems in accessing the same accounts through Firefox. Maybe reinstalling Internet Explorer or changing browsers will work. However, you can take help of sighted person to solve this problem. You have to type the character shown in picture in text box. Bye the way picture is inaccessible. Therefore, you will have to take assistance of some some sighted person. As far as my knowledge goes yahoo does not provide audio solution to this. In addition, this is not a tall useless cause it prevents automatic spam mails. As software, which sends spam, mails can fill to/CC/BCC fields; subject fields and your message body and send it. However, it cannot fill the text shown in picture, because it is random image file, making text shown in picture unpredictable.
