hello arvind sir,
First of all, sorry as I was not able to meet you. actualy some
emergency arouse and I got stuck there.
Second, i haven't received any reply from easy cash manager team yet
for my quaries. it looks as if they are not interested in it.
thirdly, I tried using the demo version but found it unsuitable for indian
users as there were very few customization option given to make it
suitable as per indian tax laws. nor I got the option to change the
currency to rupees.
after these things I think there is no option left to check its accessability.
I shared the download link for the easy cash manager. did anyone else also
checked it out? if yes, please share ur views over it.

Hi Puneet, I am into business of ceramic tiles. Even I have tried
using Tally with jaws but it doesnt work. I use excel for all my
accounts and there is no other option but to post all entries
separately in all ledgers. Someone told me that we can personalise
excel also in such a way that all the contra entries will be posted
automatically. But we need professional assistance to design excel
 according to our needs.

2014-09-06 Thread Milan
Hello Arvind Sir,
I checked the link. It says that this software is for United States,
Australia and New Zealand users only. I have mailed the company for
details in relation to Indian users.
I have tried Busy V12 and it is accessable with Jaws cursor to some extent.
On 7 May, 2013, Tally informed CCPD that there new version will have
necessary support for various screen readers like JAWS and NVDA but no
improvements have been seen regarding the same.

There is technical limitation in Tally, it does not expose information

cannot make it as accessible as MS Excel.
At that time, we explained the Tally developers how they can make some
changes in their code to make it accessible. Initially they agreed but
after some months they stopped working on these improvements.

I am not aware if further development on this subject took place after
that. A couple of people contacted me for guidance, they wanted to take
 it
forward. But I have not heard anything after that.

Busywin is a better option than Tally on accessibility terms. The only
problem is that it is not so popular among accountants, so people fine
 it
difficult to find accountants who want to learn it and use it.

 hi,
the jaws scripts for tally is only available till 7.2.
busy win version 12 is one such software that is somewhat useable with
 jaws.
the good thing of it that it supports the tally's files also, so you
can try the demo and can go for it if you like it.
the edit boxs can be labeled in the busy and rest things are readable
 with jaws cursor.
 do try, might help.

 Dear Puneet,

Simple statements can be prepared on excel. If you are particular
about using Tally, I can connect you to someone who uses it. I
 don't
know about the latest version of Tally. But one of its earlier
 versions is accessible with Jaws.

Hi Milan,
The accounting softwares are basically same across geographies.
What they probably mean is that it is pre geared to handle tax in
specific countries.
Like GST and vat in different states in the US.
These parameters are mostly variables and can be set and customised.
What is really important is the accessibility.
They have a free trial download and that can answer a lot of questions.
Do keep us updated.
