Amar, The issue with Skype4 not speaking menu will get resolved one once opts for 'Classic view' instead of 'Compact view' under 'General setting' option, tools. I found all the contact names speaking too but 'not selected ' Which even with JAWS cursor helping out to select, could never bring available on call under 'call menu'. Subodh I remember to have managed make my friend in Mumbai receive a file I sent with the help of 'route PC to JAWS' in Skype 4.. I sorted out most of the issues with Skype 4 before finally removing it in desperation as my inability to make a call on Skype 4 greatly annoyed me. Well even I have received files on sk4 using J curser. Coming to call point, the problem with sk4 is that it does not speak the names of menus. So the solution is to remember the shortcuts for the same. For call, press alt+A 'action menu'. However, configuring shortcuts for receiving hanging calls etc will make it more easier alternatively, remember the shortcuts for menus. I will not say operating sk4 is difficult, but it is not out of box. Talking about myself, I have never ever used scripts for sk untill now. But that differs from individual to individual. However, 4.1 really doesn't have accessibility problem as such. But for sure, 3.8 was far better and user friendly. dear friends, I think that skype 4.1 has got a new jaws script and it is working here very well. The only problem I am facing is that I am not able to receive files send by other condacts.
