Make an application to the director of Open learning, Talk to him, and
if he still does not understand, warn him to file a case in the Delhi
high court.
If these facts are correct, Your case is very fit, and You will win.

hey friends, can CCPD issue a notice to NIVH to extend the date of
result submission or in other words, for provisional admission until
the result is out. is there any possibility that CCPD issue a letter
to the school of open learning regarding confidential result. there
are some articles which were published in newspapers against School of

complaints against DU, but no solution.

Re: [AI] victim of some delay in paper work by University of Delhi

2013-09-07 Thread Yogesh Chhabra
There seems to be no end to the problems Delhi University’s School of
Open Learning (SOL) students.

A number of students who had taken provisional admission in Master’s
degree courses in Delhi University were shocked to see their
admissions cancelled after the authorities found out that their
graduation results had yet not been declared.

The fate of these students now hangs in the balance as their results
are not expected to come out till October at least. While both the SOL
and the postgraduation departments come under the same university,
there is no coordination between both the bodies, leaving the students
to face the same problem each year.

“The fact that results have not been declared is not our fault. It is
the failure of the examination branch. Why should the students pay the
price for the lackadaisical attitude of the university?”

The problem of delayed results leading to problems for students is not new.

Last year, a number of law students had faced the same problem after
which DU was forced to extend the deadline for the submission of
graduation marksheets.

According to authorities, the matter rests entirely with the
examination branch whose officials had said on various occasions that
the number of copies to be marked was too large for them to be handled
quickly.

now I am not able to understand how could I save my candidature.

2013-09-07 Thread Mohib Anwar Rafel
Its very difficult situation, in my view no case shall lie against the
Director of School of Open learning, neither you can pull NIVH to the
court. If SOL doesn't has any rule that they will publish their result
upto this date, it is very difficult to prove that they have violated
any provision of the university or any other law out of which u
suffered irreparable loss.
According to me you have two remedies, if these work:
first, You can write to the NIVH to give u special chance to produce
your final marksheet when it will be available, or you can give an
affidavit to enrol u as a provisional candidate till your result is
published.
Second, you can force the SOL to handover to you some sealed letter
that you have passed with such and such percentage.

Re: [AI] victim of some delay in paper work by University of Delhi

2013-09-08 Thread akhilesh
I don't understand how the case is not made out against Delhi
University on the bases of provided facts.
Sealed letter of result has been demanded, and refused which he calls
confidential result.
This is the problem of school of open learning.
No case lies against NIVH and no authority can force NIVH to delay the
interview or provide any kind of relaxation in this case.
The school of open learning is the main culprit which is creating such
menace, harassing him and destroying his future to save the red tape
culture!

According to authorities, the matter rests entirely with the
examination branch whose officials had said on various occasions that
the number of copies to be marked was too large for them to be handled
quickly.

now I am not able to understand how could I save my candidature.

hey friends, can CCPD issue a notice to NIVH to extend the date of

are some articles which were published in newspapers against School of
open learning (DU) regarding delayed result. students have filed
complaints against DU, but no solution.

Hi people, happy weekend from my side. I am in a situation that I am
selected in B.ED entrance at NIVH (Dehradun) but the thing is my
result of final year at school of open learning is awaited. According
to the NIVH prospectus, candidates who have their results awaited can
also apply, but they have to submit their result at the time of
interview. In school of open learning (DU), there is no provision for
confidential result. So, how can I proceed further? As school of open
learning (DU) has no provision for confidential result and NIVH will
not entertain candidates without their result. What could be done in
this situation? I do not want to lose this opportunity of b.ed course.

I agree with mohan. on the second point. you could request NIVH to
directly call for your results in ceal cover from School of learning
to ascertain your eligibility.
this process should be undertaken in writing and not verbally
enclosing your undertaking not to claim your candidature if you're not
found eligible and acceptance of this as a provisional admission .
we understand that it is very difficult situation but you are making
best of your efforts and congratulations for that.
we wish you succeed in your fight!
best wishes.
Anjali
