RE: [ActiveDir] printing GPO listing
Unfortunately, this spreadsheet only includes Admin Template settings. There is currently no tool that I know of that will print every setting available in every default policy area, though its not by any means the first time I've heard that request. Unfortunately, many of the policy options themselves are embedded within the MMC DLLs that provide editing for those settings, so there's no easy programmatic way to get to these options. The best you can do is a combination of that spreadsheet below with screen shots or exports of the MMC namespace. Very cumbersome. RE: [ActiveDir] printing GPO listing
Do you have the Group Policy Management console installed? If you do you can create either HTML or XML format report which includes all the applied settings relevant to your implementation. (You have to created a separate report for each GPO) Depending on how many policies you have in place transferring these, in my experience, to the spreadsheet format can be quite time consuming. The HMTL report could save you a lot of time. Re: [ActiveDir] printing GPO listing
Hey Michael... Best thing to do is install the GPMC for free, and it's also a very good tool.. You can save reports as html's and print themeven export to excel after that, if you need to. hth, John "Bruyere, Michel" <[EMAIL PROTECTED] ada.com> To Sent by: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> [EMAIL PROTECTED] cc ail.activedir.org Subject [ActiveDir] printing GPO listing 08/31/2004 07:34 AM Please respond to [EMAIL PROTECTED] tivedir.org Hi, I've been asked to print, for documentation purpose, the list of all GPO's and their settings. RE: [ActiveDir] printing GPO listing
Hi, Try the Group Policy Management Console (with SP1) (it is free). You need a XP or W2K3 box to use the GPMC. http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=0a6d4c24-8cbd-4b35- 9272-dd3cbfc81887&DisplayLang=en With the GPMC you make a printout of the GPOs and the settings per GPO Regards, Jorge -Original Message- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Bruyere, Michel Sent: dinsdag 31 augustus 2004 14:34 To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: [ActiveDir] printing GPO listing Hi, I've been asked to print, for documentation purpose, the list of all GPO's and their settings.
