AdWords API Re: To many connection failures
Thank you Eric. This account has around 200,000 keywords . but there are a few ad groups with more than 1000 ( up to 1600 ) keywords. Do you think this might cause 502 errors ? I assume, the only solution until v2009 goes to production is to keep trying and pray that API doesn't timeout next time ? . Is there a time of day when there is greater chance for success ? thanks, Santhosh On Nov 4, 7:07 am, AdWords API Advisor wrote: > Hi Santhosh, > > I was able to make that request without receiving 502 errors. Hi Eric, this seems to be a non-existent campaign with campaign_id 16388288. This campaign does not show up in the campaignService.getAllAdWordsCampaigns call. But when i try to get the structureReport for the Adgroup and Keywords for the account this campaign shows up. I have pasted the xml from the Adgroup report for your reference. Hi Magnus, Although it's not a perfect solution, you could include the column adGroupMaxCpc, and if it is the same as maxCpc then the keyword is likely inheriting the value from the ad group. AdWords API Re: To many connection failures
Hi Santhosh, I was able to make that request without receiving 502 errors. Do you find that the errors are limited to certain ad groups? I've noticed that this account is very large, and it could be that for some ad groups the results may be too large to be returned in a single response. One of the nice features about the v2009 API is the ability to specify paging, so large requests can be broken into smaller ones: http://code.google.com/apis/adwords/v2009/docs/reference/AdGroupCriterionService.AdGroupCriterionSelector.html#paging. AdWords API Re: Campaigns Assigned Long Id Rather Than Int
Hi Pete, I've done a search through the logs, and I can't find any instance where that ID was returned. Perhaps that ID was pulled from the AdWords web interface URL, which is not necessarily a reliable source for obtaining IDs. I would recommend using the API to get all your campaigns and then looking through the results to find the correct ID for the campaign. AdWords API Re: Possible values for TargetList targetListType
Hi, I wanted to know what the possible string values are for the property TargetList.Type. I don't want to loop through the results and have to do an "instance of" on each item. I would prefer to check that string. Can you provide me with the string values?
