Re: Getting Client Customer ID in v201302

2013-03-13 Thread Tom Chokel
Hi Takeshi,

Thanks for your response. I've taken a look at the example and it seems
this only works for accounts that are hooked up to an MCC (0 entries are
returned when I try it on non-MCC accounts).

Is there a way to pull cids on child accounts that don't have parents?

Thanks!
Tom

oAuth2 : Service Account and Web Server Application

2013-03-13 Thread F.Pers
Hi

i wanted to have a simple way with oAuth2 to get anonymous access to client
data with access tokens. First i thought that following the web server
application
(https://developers.google.com/accounts/docs/OAuth2?hl=de-DE#webserver)
would be the right way for me since i am running a web server application
^^ Then i read about Service Accounts and as i understand it a Service
Account (with the private key) is for my application to authenticate itself.
But what i do not understand is do i still need a web server application
client id to send my client to google for getting an authorization token
etc etc or does a service account by itself also provide this?
In other words does a Service Account the same as a Web Server Application
except it in addition authenticates itself with a private key?

thx for the information

 HTTP response message: Bad Request

And indeed when we use just ONE of those two fields, the report
 downloads just fine.

But you can download a Account Performance report with the

Could someone explain why this is the case and whether this is an error

2013-03-13 Thread Traffic Estimate
Hi Takeshi,

Sorry for bothering you again but today I have the same problem with
QuotaCheckError.INCOMPLETE_SIGNUP. Yesterday everything was OK and I was
successfully get responses from the Google API Adwords services with my
test account after I reconfirmed the billing preferences. I was very happy
and I started to develop my application. Today when I continue to work on
it the same error occurs like the day before. I am using the same login
details and I am trying to get responses like yesterday but without
success. The same ClientCustomerId is used 738-088-4281 and both of
authentication methods ClientLogin and OAuth2 are retrieving the same
exception.
Please check again if the account is still active for test proposes. What
can be the problem?

Thanks for your time.

Dimce.

2013-03-13 Thread Richard Worrall
Hi,

Not sure what's going on here but I've been using the API successfully for
about 3 weeks. Then today, I started getting this exception:

QuotaCheckError.INCOMPLETE_SIGNUP @ ; trigger:''

when I try to run the following code:

api = AdwordsApi::Api.new(CONFIG_PATH)
service = api.service(:ManagedCustomerService,:v201209)
selector = { :fields => ['CustomerId'] }
api.use_mcc { service.get(selector) }

Any ideas what could be going on here? I haven't changed any credentials
and they've been working fine for weeks.

Cheers!

Getting 'Could not connect to host' error intermittently with version v201209

2013-03-13 Thread Tom
I am using MutateJobService to update bids of multiple keywords in one go
and I am getting the 'Could not connect to host' intermittently.

Here is the request from request log :

And the stack trace given by the function is

Re: Discrepancies between the number of keywords between UI and API

2013-03-13 Thread Danial Klimkin
Hello,

I can see at least two possible reasons for this:
 - time difference between checking the UI and API call;
 - different filter predicates (showing inactive, negative keywords etc).

I suggest pulling both lists into a spreadsheet and finding at least one
example of a keyword that is present only on one of the lists.

Re: ngr (Nigerian currency) in adparam (AdParamService, v201209)

2013-03-13 Thread Danial Klimkin
Hello Albert,

I've checked with my colleagues. AdWords does not support NGR and we do not
plan at the moment.

Scope Of Video Ads - Adwords API

2013-03-13 Thread Rohit Palmurkar
Hey

I am new to the adwords API and I wanted to know a few things about Video
Ads. Searched the forum for older posts related to this topic but most of
them were very dated.

I wanted to know if there is a way to do the following things through the
API.

1. Change or Adjust the Max CPV bid of a video ad through the API.
2. Enable or Pause particular placements, topics, interests, demographic
ranges and gender through the API?
3. Pull out placement level, demographic level, topic level, interest level
data of a particular campaign for a specific date range through the API.

Kindly point me in the right direction for the above things.

Use Maps API to show all geotargeting within an MCC?

2013-03-13 Thread Matt Perry
Is it possible to use the Maps and AdWords APIs together to create an
accurate map of all geotargeting within an MCC? We typically geotarget for
local businesses using a combination of zip codes and radii around
addresses in U.S. and Canada. We'd like to see the geotargeting off all
accounts within the MCC on one map.

Not looking for how - just want to know if it's possible before outsourcing
the project.

Thanks!
