Re: Do Api support integration with UAC ?

2018-05-18 Thread 'Luis Xander Talag (AdWords API Team)' via AdWords API and Google Ads API Forum
Hi Missandei,

The Universal App Campaigns is supported in the AdWords API. You could
check this guide

for
reference. As for the reporting, currently you could find in this section

 all
the available reports for UAC campaigns which includes attributes and
metric fields for your UAC. Let me know if you have further clarifications.

Thanks and regards,
Luis

Thank you for fast answer ! :)

Yes, I download Campaign Performance Report with stats, but don't know what
segment can split values per ad asset or is this even possible at all ?

Kochava AdWords integration issue

2018-05-18 Thread ian
I'm using Kochava to roll up performance of our company's campaigns for our
Android app. One of those campaigns is AdWords (we're running a couple UAC
campaigns and we're stoked on the average CPI we're getting). I can see
from the AdWords dashboard that we're getting plenty of installs, but I
can't see any of that data in Kochava. I followed their guide
here: https://support.kochava.com/campaign-management/google-integration
and talked to support reps on both Kochava's side and Google's Side to
ensure the configuration is good. The Kochava rep even sent me the call
they're making to the AdWords API which is not returning any data. So I've
got an API request but I'm not sure which parameters may be off that are
causing it to result in an empty payload result.

Here's the URL sans the dev_token and link_id actual values:

http://www.googleadservices.com/pagead/conversion/app/1.0?app_event_name=&app_event_type=first_open&app_version=Wildlink%2086&dev_token=0987654321&id_type=advertisingid&lat=0&link_id=1234567890&os_version=6.0.1&rdid=10034082-4b65-437f-bcc5-d99a5ffd7567&sdk_version=AndroidTracker%203.1.1×tamp=1526566709

And the return data looks like this:

{
"ad_events": [],
"errors": [],
"attributed": false
}

I'm just trying to get an install count. Any ideas for what's wrong with
the API URL? None of the values look obviously wrong to me...

Thanks in advance!

Re: ManagedCustomerService Returns Empty Result

2018-05-18 Thread loredana . ilie
Hello,

Ww are facing the same issue.
We fetch the accounts using this function:

   managed_customer_service = self.client.GetService(
'ManagedCustomerService', version=self.ADWORDS_VERSION)

# Construct selector to get all accounts.
offset = 0
selector = {
'fields': ['CustomerId', 'Name', 'CanManageClients'],
'paging': {
'startIndex': str(offset),
'numberResults': str(500)
}
}
more_pages = True
while more_pages:
 page = managed_customer_service.get(selector)

 This call returns empty results. We've tried with both "v201710" and
"v201802” versions.
 Do you have any update on this?

Regards,
Loredana

BatchJobProcessingError.INTERNAL_ERROR

2018-05-18 Thread sam
Everything was running fine and all previous batch jobs completed without
issues until we hit a BatchJobProcessingError.INTERNAL_ERROR.

Does anyone know why this happened and what we can do to prevent this in
the future?

Batch job ID is 740197549 from yesterday and I can provide the batch job
result URL if needed.

2018-05-18 Thread API_DCH
Hi Luis,

Thanks for the information, I have submitted the form to upgrade my token
to get basic access. So that I can move forward to make some api calls to
production account..
I learned that approval may take up to 2 business days. Do I get a
confirmation email once it is approved. Please let me know.
Once approved, can I make api calls to all the account that are linked to
the Adwords account.

Thanks
Sam

Re: how to get monthly search volume mobile device

2018-05-18 Thread 'Sreelakshmi Sasidharan (AdWords API Team)' via AdWords API and Google Ads API Forum
Hello,

The TargetingIdeaService

in the API is analogous to first part of the Keyword Planner tool in the
API. While trying to get the new keyword ideas

 using
the service, you will not be able to get the search volume broken down by a
device. You can see that the keyword planner tool also doesn't support this
for new keyword ideas. However, if you are trying to get the stats at a
device level for your historical keywords which correspond to "Plan your
budget and get forecasts" section of the Keyword Planner tool, you can use
the TrafficEstimatorService

 instead.
Please check this guide

 for
more details and code samples.

Let me know if you have any further questions.

Thanks,
Sreelakshmi, AdWords API Team

Hello Ian,

On this forum we address questions related to AdWords API. I am seeing that
your request/response is similar to the one in Mobile Apps Conversion
Tracking and Remarketing API
.

Could you confirm if your questions are about this API? If so, you could
use the help icon in the AdWords web interface to reach the correct support
team. If your questions are about the AdWords API, could you please share
the SOAP logs for your API operation? If you are using one of our client
libraries ,
then the README.md file contains the instructions on how to capture the
AdWords API logs. For instance, the instructions for Java client library
 can be found here

.

AWQL + WHERE + greater_than Percentage

2018-05-18 Thread Stephen Barrett
Hi!

I'm trying to pull a Keywords Performance Report to only pull keywords with
a CTR that is greater than 3%.

->from(ReportDefinitionReportType::KEYWORDS_PERFORMANCE_REPORT)
->where('Status')->in(['ENABLED'])
->where('Ctr')->greater_than(['3.00%'])
->duringDateRange(ReportDefinitionDateRangeType::LAST_7_DAYS)

Originally, I did not have that where statement. So it was pulling
everything that I had within the last 7 days. So I know the values being
pulled in for Ctr were percentages (3.00%) as the value. Do I need the
square brackets? Do I need to combine both Where clauses?

Adwords Scripts via Adwords API

2018-05-18 Thread steve
I was wondering if there's a way to add a script to an account via the API?
I'm not seeing that in the documentation.

We use call tracking that allows us to run a script every hour that gets
the keyword performance report and ties the keyword to the call that was
triggered, but we have to add it to every account under our management
account. So I was wondering if there was a way to do that programmatically
or if I just have to replicate what the script is doing and make my own
functions.

Pulled same report twice but getting different total values (one with a date segment, one without)

2018-05-18 Thread Stephen Barrett
Can someone help and explain AdWord's way of calculating their own metrics?
The report I'm using is Keywords_Performance_Report

I have pulled the same report twice with and without the segment Date for
the Last 30 Days (see screenshot). Clicks, Total Conversion Value and Cost
all matched up perfectly, but when it came down to percentages they didn't
match.

I assumed when calculating these totals from the report with the segment,
that the Conversion Rate, Cost per Conversion, and CTR would be the average
of all the values, but they didn't add up to their associated number from
the report that didn't have the date segment. Any reason why I am getting
different numbers for these?
