Hi Neetu,

Unfortunately, our team is unable to open or access the file that you have
attached. Furthermore, I had to delete your response and re-post it below as
the file you contained may contain your account information.

"Hello Ernie,
Greetings of the day!!
I am using the same script which you have mentioned in the document.

I have attached the response screenshot here, and I searching keyword stats for
"trump and Biden in my request". Please have a look at my attachment.

As I am getting data i.e "KEYWORD_TEXT, SEARCH_VOLUME, AVERAGE_CPC,
COMPETITION" for many keywords like "Paytm, cycle, cab, amazon, bakery, etc".
So the script which I shared on the above email chain is working fine, the only
thing is not providing data for a few keywords like -Covid 19, trump, Biden,
etc."

That said, since you are not able to reply privately, could you please send a

Re: Getting users to authenticate

2020-11-25 Thread Jonathon Su
Hi Support,

We are exploring to build a reporting visualization tool that asks the
users to authenticate so that we can read from the Google Ads API for their
account.

1. Do we only need to create a single developer token for multiple
users/accounts?

2. And do we have to be the manager account for the user's account in order
to read their Ads data via or is there a alternative way to ask their
permission without being the manager account?

We only need to read the data, we don't need to manage their ads.

So ideally we'd like to be able to ask the user to grant us read access to
their Google Ads data using an auth flow but not requiring them to let us
be managers of their account.

Thanks,
Jonathon

Re: Cannot upload click conversion

2020-11-25 Thread Cristiano Ghersi
Hi Xiaoming.
The actual conversionActionResourceName comes from a previous call to the
Conversion API where I queried my available conversion actions:

try (GoogleAdsServiceClient googleAdsServiceClient =
gClient.getLatestVersion().createGoogleAdsServiceClient()) {
  String query = "SELECT conversion_action.id,
conversion_action.category, conversion_action.name FROM conversion_action";
  // Constructs the SearchGoogleAdsStreamRequest.
  SearchGoogleAdsStreamRequest req =
SearchGoogleAdsStreamRequest.newBuilder()
  .setCustomerId("MY CUST ID") // NOTE: here I place my
10 digits customer ID
  .setQuery(query)
  .build();

  // Creates and issues a search Google Ads stream request that
will retrieve all campaigns.
  ServerStream stream =
  googleAdsServiceClient.searchStreamCallable().call(req);

  // Iterates through and prints all of the results in the
stream response.
  for (SearchGoogleAdsStreamResponse response : stream) {
for (GoogleAdsRow googleAdsRow : response.getResultsList())
{
  System.out.printf(
  "Campaign with ID %d and name '%s' was found.%n",
  googleAdsRow.getCampaign().getId(),
googleAdsRow.getCampaign().getName());
  System.out.printf(
  "Conversion action with ID %d and name '%s' was
found.%n",
  googleAdsRow.getConversionAction().getId(),
googleAdsRow.getConversionAction().getName());
}
  }
}

That was, just to make sure that I actually am entitled to upload
conversions for that specific action!
Is this the right approach?
Is there any other way to find the conversion action ID, maybe from the
actual Google Ads dashboard?
Please let me know your thoughts
Thank you!
Cristiano

Thank you for reaching out. Please find my response to your questions below:

The “login_customer_id” is the account id for the account that you used to
generate the OAuth2 credentials, for example the clientId, clientSecrect and
refreshToken. It could be a manager account of the target client customer
account or the client customer account itself.

In the command line, you could set the client customer id by using the
following command:
python get_campaigns.py -c $CLIENT_ID

API Recommendations Don't Match Ads Console

2020-11-25 Thread Scott Vaillancourt
I'm using the GoogleAdsService API to pull recommendations. However, the
returned data doesn't match what I see when I look at the Recommendations
screen in the Google Ads console. There are far fewer recommendations
returned via the API. The code below yields 5 records, which
is significantly less than I can access via the console. I'm happy to
provide customer information via a private channel. Thanks.

Scott

gas = client.get_service('GoogleAdsService', version='v6')
rte = client.get_type('RecommendationTypeEnum', version='v6')

query = '''
SELECT
  recommendation.type,
  recommendation.campaign
FROM recommendation'''

resp = gas.search(cid, query)
rl = list(resp)

Placements - Where ads showed - get by api

2020-11-25 Thread Floky Netpeak
Hello, is there any way to get data from page "Placements" - "Where ads
showed" by api ?

I need Display and YouTube network rows.
I tried Placement Performance Report and Audience Performance Report with
setting segment in predicates to [YOUTUBE_SEARCH, YOUTUBE_WATCH] but I
getting only Site and Mobile application, not YouTube channels.

AdSense API users list

2020-11-25 Thread Solomiia Kharachko
Hi everyone,

Our team has received an email which states that to access AdMob data
someone has used our AdSense API in the last 90 days.

It is extremely significant for us to discover who did that for security
objectives. It would be great to discover how we can receive information
about users of our AdSense API like IP addresses for clarification. Is
there an email to API Team that could assist us?

Re: Client account access sharing to Users and Manager Accounts

2020-11-25 Thread Alon Diamant
Great, thank you Peter for this very detailed response.

As best I understood, these are the answers:

1. Is there any way, via API, to add Users to an existing client account?
*NO*. Via API, a User can be added only to a new client account during its
creation (to business who get whitelabeled for this feature by Google, not
generally available). Adding Users to an existing client account can only
be done via UI. Modifying the access level of existing Users via API is
possible, though.

2. Is there any way, via API, to give read-only access level of a client
account to a manager account? (A parallel in Facebook would be - giving
read-only access of an ad account to another Business Manager.)
*NO*. It is not possible via the UI either. Read-only access is only in the
User (human) level, not the Manager (business) level. Manager level links
are always full-access.

3. Is there any way, via API, to invite a Manager account to manage a
client account? (That is - reversing the flow of the well known scenario in
which the the client account invites the Manager account to manage it.)
*NO*. It is not possible for the client account to invite a manager, not
via the API nor via the UI. The only supported flow is manager accounts
requested access to client accounts.

Did I understand correctly?

Thanks,

Re: Search query, landing page and associated metrics

2020-11-25 Thread 'Robbo' via AdWords API and Google Ads API Forum
Thanks very much.
Really enjoying this.

What I have concluded so far: I'm a total N00b so if anyone wants to raise
any flags or anything please do!

*Shopping ads* - it is not possible to combine landing page and search
query. I can get search query from: SEARCH_QUERY_PERFORMANCE_REPORT and I
can get landing page from: LANDING_PAGE_REPORT (using
AdvertisingChannelType to isolate "Shopping"). However there isn't a way to
join?

*Dynamic ads* - Can get search query plus landing page from
KEYWORDLESS_QUERY_REPORT

*Normal search ads* - Can get search query plus landing page from
SEARCH_QUERY_PERFORMANCE_REPORT

Re: Granular permissions for OAuth

2020-11-25 Thread Alon Diamant
Hi Peter,

Great, thanks for the answer! I think I got it, but, just so I can 100%
certain, here is another scenario.

Let's say I am user us...@email.com. I have two MCCs, A and B.

A manages 5 client accounts: A1, A2, A3, A4 and A5
B manages 2 client accounts: B1 and B2.

1. I go to the SaaS system X, which uses the Google Ads API, and I want to
only share with this app the MCC A, with its 5 client accounts, but not to
share MCC B or its 2 client accounts. Can this be done? Or do I need to
create a new user altogether?

2. I go to the SaaS system Y (owned by a completely separate company, which
competes with system X), which also uses the Google Ads API, and I want to
only share with this app the MCC A, but only a sub-set of its accounts -
A2, A3 and A4. I do not want to share client accounts A1 and A5. Can this
be done? Or do I need to create a new user altogether?

Thanks,

RE: Broad match with v6 ads API

2020-11-25 Thread Google Ads API Forum Advisor Prod
Hi Carlo,

Thanks for posting your concern.

In order for me to discuss your concern to my team, could you provide the
customer ID and the complete request and response logs with request ID for the
2 scenarios that you've mentioned? You can provide it via Reply privately to
author option.

Regards,

RE: Create Google ads account with API

2020-11-25 Thread Google Ads API Forum Advisor Prod
Hi,

Thanks for posting your concern.

I am afraid that it is not possible to create an account through Google Ads API
for an user account / email address account that is not associated yet with any
MCC account.

With this, you will need to create an MCC account using this user account /
email address account and follow this guide to set up your Google Ads API
environment. After doing the instruction that I've mentioned earlier, you can
now use the CreateCustomerClientRequest to create client account.

Let me know if you have questions with the provided suggestion.

Re: We can't get the campaigns

2020-11-25 Thread Exos Solutions
Hi Peter,

Thanks for your corrections. This issue is resolved, but I have other
questions that I would like to consult you, do I put them in this thread or
do I open another conversation?.
The doubts are about how to obtain various statistical data.

Regards,
Gloria Muñoz.
