Keyword Planner API not filtering for region specified

We have been trying to integrate the Google Ads Keyword Planner API  to 
create keyword plans () and generate historical metrics (Generate 
Historical Metrics  |  Google Ads API  |  Google Developers 
)
 
using the Python code snippets in the documentation mentioned above. The 
code snippet includes a line which helps specify the region for which the 
search volume needs to be fetched for (geo_target.geo_target_constant = 
"geoTargetConstants/2840").

We have referred to the link  
https://developers.google.com/google-ads/api/reference/data/geotargets  
to 
identify the required region code, but despite inputing the correct ID, the 
response from the API does not show region specific search volume but 
rather gives only the worldwide search volume numbers.

Any help to get search volume for specific region for the keywords would be 
greatly appreciated.

Re: Google ads api permission denied ERROR

 Hello,

What we noticed that the MCC account we used to create API token was not 
showing it as a user in Google Ads -> "Tools & Security" -> "Access and 
Security" section for some customers. These are the same customers those 
were missing in "list of customers" through API.

Then we added MCC account as a user to customer accounts through "Give 
others access to an account" section and then those missing customers 
started to show in "list of customers" through API.

But it doesn't allow us to do for more than 20 customers. 
Error "*Your google account can only access up to 20 Google Ads accounts at 
a time*" and so we are still not able to get list of all MCC customers yet 
through API.

Please suggest what can be done here.

KeywordPlanIdeaService.GenerateKeywordHistoricalMetrics? If yes, then I am 
afraid that multiple services are involved here as mentioned in this document.

historical metrics, would you be able to provide your use case for the feature 
you are looking for?

the keyword plan in the UI even though it is successfully created in the API.

related issues / concerns are within their scope.

Getting Lead Details Data from Google Ads

But I still can't find a solution. It's now clear that I have to remove the 
link between the *asset* and the *ad*. But how to do it? With what? What 
type of *Service* and *Operation* to use (e.g. AdGroupAdService 
AdGroupAdOperation and the like)? I can't find any examples in google api 
documentation describing how to remove link between aset and ad.

Mapping of campaign.bidding_strategy_type

Kindly note that the RESOURCE_EXHAUSTED error generally occurs when you are 
sending too many requests in a short period of time. The server throws this 
error once it detects that your request has exceeded the system frequency 
limit. I would recommend setting up short delays between requests or combine 
more operations in fewer requests. Please refer to the Best practices guide to 
optimize the efficiency and performance.

Could you please provide the complete request and response logs, with the 
request-id, generated for the RESOURCE_EXHAUSTED error in order to check 
further. You can enable logging, which you may do so by navigating to the 
Client libraries > Your client library (ex. Java) > Logging documentation, 
which you can access from this link for example if you're using our client 
libraries on this.

Thanks for reaching out to the Google Ads API Forum.

Upon checking the stack trace you’ve provided with us, I can see that you've 
encountered the AuthorizationError.USER_PERMISSION_DENIED error. Kindly note 
that you may receive the error ‘USER_PERMISSION_DENIED’ when a user doesn't 
have permission to access a customer and you’re accessing a client customer 
using 'login-customer-id’ in the request.

That being said, you will need to ensure that the user / email address you used 
to generate the credentials indeed has access to the account in your request. 
If the user / email address has access or is associated with the MCC / manager 
account, you will need to specify the MCC / manager account's ID without 
hyphens (-) as the value of the login-customer-id field.

If you still persist with the error, you may provide us with the complete 
request and response logs, with the request-id along with the email address 
used to generate the OAuth2 credentials via the Reply privately to author 
option, so that I can continue to investigate further.

I need protobuf PHP 7.4 .dll file

Hello Guys,

I am trying to find *protobuf* *.DLL* file for *PHP >= 7.4*.

When I fire composer install OR composer update
It's getting me *protobuf* not found error n installation. 

Can you please give me guidance how can I get *protobuf* *DLL* for for *PHP 
>= 7.4*.

Reason is I need  'metrics.video_quartile_p25_rate' this key value from 
metrics.

Regarding consent screen in our website

Hi google team,

I need a clarification about the consent screen on our website to 
authenticate the user to give permission, so their access token to call the 
API, In this flow,
 if I have a new user come to my website, they didn't connect to Google 
account with my website till yet, they hit the Sign in with Google button, 
the pop was open, google show active session in that browser,
so that the user can select any of these accounts to authenticate, eg the 
active session is five accounts there, eg: For if the user chose the 1st 
account of the active session that's an end, but the user wants to connect 
their 2nd account to the same user account of which already 1st account is 
connected, without disconnect the 1st google account, is this possible to  
connect 2nd account in the same website under the same user,
but a user tries to connect to the 2nd account, the google SDK popup was 
automatically taken the 1st account,  which a user-selected previously, 
but  a user needs to choose the 2nd account, but I try to obtain this 
situation, by deleting the google login cookie, they log out their from 
browser credential as well as the Google account, is their safe to manually 
deleted, so that a user click the sign in with google button now google 
popup will show the list of accounts, so that user can select the 2nd 
account to connect the website

As mentioned in the images' specifications from the reference page, if your 
marketing image does not meet the minimum size of 600x314 and the aspect ratio 
to 1.91:1 (+-1%), then you’ll get an error in your API request. If you’ve 
already met the specifications, and still encountered the error, you may 
provide our team privately complete request and response logs, with the 
request-id, so that I can continue to investigate further.

With regards to checking image specifications, you may follow the below steps:

Open Google
Search image (Switch to image search)
Select search by image option (camera icon)
Either select Paste image URL or Upload an image option

I am using php client library to get the ads data and i have configured all

Thanks for getting back to us.

Assets can't be removed. To stop an asset from serving, remove the link to the 
campaign, ad group, and so on. You may use ad-level operations to manage the 
associations between individual assets and ads. However, note that Google Ads 
API permits only reporting of video ads, and does not support mutates on Video 
campaign, Ad Group and Ads in the Ads API, as mentioned in the Campaign 
Management overview. For this you may use UI to disassociate the links.

Furthermore, I already raised a feature request to support remove operation for 
Asset operation. With this, I would suggest keeping an eye on this blog as we 
will post any relevant updates when they become supported.

Getting Search Volumes from Google and Partners but just want google

The API

 returns 
Google and partner search volumes instead of just returning Google search 
volumes. In the attachment you can see that I am only querying the Google 
data and not Google and partners.

How can i solve this problem?

Crash when attempting to instantiate offlineUserDataJobServiceClient

Hello,

I am encountering a crash when attempting to instantiate an 
offlineUserDataJobServiceClient.

Crash happens before "OfflineUserDataJobServiceClient created!"

How to get Month-wise impression data using GAQL

[itservices itservices]

I am building a graphical visualisation of the ads api data.
Here, i need *months vs impressions* Graph ie i need  impressions data on 
campaigns month-wise.

*How do i build the query?*
I tried the below Gaql->

*SELECT segments.month, metrics.impressions FROM campaign WHERE 
segments.date > '2020-01-01'*
*AND segments.date < '2022-06-01'.*

But this is giving me *null* result.
What am i doing wrong?is this same query applies for weekly/yearly datas
Please help me

More confusion with Generate Historical Metrics

According to the documentation To generate historical metrics:
Create a KeywordPlan, KeywordPlanCampaigns, KeywordPlanAdGroups, 
KeywordPlanCampaignKeywords, and KeywordPlanAdGroupKeywords.
Call KeywordPlanService.GenerateHistoricalMetrics with that keyword plan.


Now the weird thing is that the plans come out as a 4-element, 
slash-delimited string, 
e.g. customers/1879809528/keywordPlanCampaigns/413340892.  However, the 
GenerateHistoricalMetrics code (which is a documentation-inspired 
modification of code 
at 
https://developers.google.com/google-ads/api/docs/keyword-planning/generate-forecast-metrics)
 
expects a long, the keywordPlanId. 

I had thought that this number was the 4th item in the plan string, but 
this appears not to be the case (and I have traces to prove it.)

So how does one get from plan to metrics?

I would suggest that you use the Google Ads Query Builder and Query Validator 
tools for constructing queries. With this, you may see all the selectable 
fields within the metrics.
