Search Ads Audience Limited Due To Match Rate

2022-06-27 Thread Brent Aydon
Hi Team,

We recently uploaded an audience to Google Ads via the API & are seeing
audience sizes are appearing at 12K for the display network & 10K but are
below the limit for serving on Search. The original list size was 99K+
emails & match rate was only about 21%.

Is this normal behavior fo customer match audience uploads via the Google
Ads API?

Thanks,
Brent Aydon

Re: Expanded Dynamic Search Ads missing from ad_group_ad query response

2022-06-27 Thread 'Marie P-Lavoie' via Google Ads API and AdWords API Forum
Hi!

I found a similar solution as the one @Rajesh proposed: I removed the field
"segments.keyword.info.text" in my query and the missing ads started
showing up in the API response.

I also received this private response from someone on the Google Ads API
support team to provide further information to the problem:
"When adding some segments
,

the metrics in the summary row may decrease.
When segments.keyword.info.text is added to a query with FROM ad_group_ad,
that segment is telling the query to only get the rows of data that have
keywords, and remove any row that is not associated with a keyword. In this
case, the metrics would be lower because it would exclude any non-keyword
metrics."

Regards,

Marie

RE: What are the language constants intended for?

2022-06-27 Thread 'Google Ads API Forum Advisor' via Google Ads API and AdWords API Forum
Hi Junhyung,

Thank you for reaching out to our API support team.

Could you confirm if you have also performed a similar request using the UI's
Keyword Planner? If the results are similar then, the API should be working as
intended.

However, if the results of the API and UI are different, and so our team can
investigate further regarding the similar results you retrieved, could you also
provide the complete request and response logs, and request-id of both our
German and Korean language requests?

If you haven't yet, logging can be enabled by navigating to the Client
libraries > Your client library (ex. Java) > Logging documentation. You may
then send the requested information via the Reply privately to author option.
If this option is not available, you may send the details directly to our
googleadsapi-supp...@google.com alias instead.

In addition, if you wish to learn more as to how a language constant filter
affects your results, then the Google Ads Product Support team should be better
equipped in providing insights since the API feature only mirrors the Keyword
Planner of the UI / Product. You may then reach their support team via this
link.

Best regards,

Hi Team,
Cost_micros is the correct attribute for cost as the description for
cost_micros is The sum of your cost-per-click (CPC) and cost-per-thousand
impressions (CPM) costs during this period.

The Cost i am looking for is sum of Spend during this period.

Thanks
Saurav

Re: Keyword Performance Details

2022-06-27 Thread 'Google Ads API Forum Advisor' via Google Ads API and AdWords API Forum
Hi Shobha,

I am Carmela, also a member of the Google Ads API team. Thank you for getting
back to us.

Moving forward to your concern, you mentioned you are not getting the metrics
like impressions, cost, clicks, conversions etc.

Kindly note that there are no metrics in the ad_group_criterion report. You may
use this ad_group_criterion Query Builder where you can see that there are
indeed no metrics in this report.

You may use the keyword_view report which has attributed resource
ad_group_criterion report. That said, you can use this report's query builder
to help you build and validate your query.

Re: Get 0 for cost_micros in query

2022-06-27 Thread Vladimir Hiuk
Hi,

I am unable to get the data you requested. But I don't think they are
necessary. I don't have an error in the query, I'm just wondering if I can
get 0 as an answer for dates with costs equal to 0. For example, for one of
the campaigns for a period of 180 days, I get only 11 values, since there
were only 11 days with costs. But can I get all 180 elements of which 169
will be 0 and the other 11 will have a value? I need it to build a graph
with dates.

Hi,
I created a conversion action and now I am trying to add it to the smart

I added the resource_name of the conversion_action in that way:

What should I need to do now?

Re: Cannot change the bidding strategy to Maximize Conversions

2022-06-27 Thread Ankit Pradhan
Hi,

Thanks for replying. If the bidding strategy is already maximize
conversions, I can change it to manual cpc, target cpa or target impression
share using the Google Ads api and if the bidding strategy is manual cpc,
target cpa or target impressions share, I cannot change it to maximize
conversions using the api.

Below is the code snippet that I am using to change it to maximize
conversions from manual cpc, target cpa or target impressions share

*MaximizeConversions.Builder maximizeConversionsBuilder =
MaximizeConversions.newBuilder();newCampaign.setMaximizeConversions(maximizeConversionsBuilder.build());*

Not able to find attribute for cost

2022-06-27 Thread gadsm wiley
Hi Team,
I am trying to build a pipeline to pull data from Google Ads. The
attributes i need to pull are
Campaign, Adgroup, Cost, Clicks and Impression. I am able to build the
query for all fields except Cost. Please help me in adding Cost (i.e Sum of
Spend ) attribute.

Please find the query that i am using.
SELECT ad_group.NAME,
   segments.day_of_week,
   ad_group.campaign,
   campaign.NAME,
   campaign.status,
   metrics.clicks,
   metrics.impressions,
FROM keyword_view
WHERE segments.date ='-MM-dd'
AND campaign.advertising_channel_type = 'SEARCH'
AND ad_group.status = 'ENABLED'
AND ad_group_criterion.status IN ('ENABLED', 'PAUSED')

Thanks
Saurav

RE: Create Image asset same image

2022-06-27 Thread 'Google Ads API Forum Advisor' via Google Ads API and AdWords API Forum
Hi,

Thanks for reaching out to the Google Ads API Forum.

Kindly note that for the Image asset types, if an asset with a different name
having the same content already exists then the asset uploaded will be silently
dropped. The behavior you’ve observed is working as expected. This also
mentioned in our release notes here that the auto-renaming the asset names on
creation. On the other hand, if an asset exists with the same name but
different content, it is renamed by appending the specified name with a
timestamp and a counter.

Regards,

Yasar
