RE: Traffic estimator service giving low results.

Hi,

Thank you for posting your concern.

To further investigate, could you provide the customer ID and the complete SOAP
request and response logs with request ID generated on your end? You can
provide it via Reply privately to author option.

Also, could you try generating traffic estimates with the same parameter you've
used in the API using the Plan your budget and get forecasts feature of the
Google Ads Keyword Planner? Please observe if the results is identical so that
I can include the Google Ads product team to provide their insights to this
concerns.

Traffic estimator service giving low results.

2020-12-11 Thread Uma Chavan
Hello,

We use Traffic estimator service to generate search budget estimate for our
clients.
https://developers.google.com/adwords/api/docs/reference/v201809/TrafficEstimatorService?csw=1.

The clicksperday number is very low since past few weeks. Can you check if
there is an issue?
I've attached my observation. The 2nd column shows click estimates received
in August 2020. The 3rd column shows click estimates from yesterday
(12/10/2020)

How to set Estimated maximum cost in Google adwords api Traffic Estimator Service in php

2019-11-19 Thread Vinothini Palanivel
I want to get Traffic estimation for some keywords via Google Adwords api.

So I'm using the api :
<https://developers.google.com/adwords/api/docs/guides/traffic-estimator-service>
https://developers.google.com/adwords/api/docs/guides/traffic-estimator-service

Here there's a option to set maximum amount for CPC per day :

$money = new Money();
$money->setMicroAmount(500);
$adGroupEstimateRequest->setMaxCpc($money); /* Here they're setting Max cpc
value per day */

But i want to Set Maximum daily budget for the keyword. Anyways to make it
possible please share your ideas.

RE: UNSUPPORTED_FIELD_IS_SET error while targeting Display network using traffic estimator service

2019-08-22 Thread Google Ads API Forum Advisor Prod
Hi Pauline,

Thank you for reaching support. The targetContentNetwork field may only be set
to true for campaign channel type MULTI_CHANNEL or campaign channel type
DISPLAY with campaign channel sub type DISPLAY_SMART_CAMPAIGN or campaign
channel sub type SHOPPING_GOAL_OPTIMIZED_ADS as mentioned in this
documentation. This could be the reason you are getting the
RequestError.UNSUPPORTED_FIELD_IS_SET error for
networkSetting.targetContentNetwork to true when you have specified
'networkSetting' to searchNetwork. If this doesn't address your concern, you
could open your concern to the GitHub Issue tracker for the AdWords API as the

Do you have any clue why it does happen ? And why I can't find anything in
the doc or searching google itself for this ?

If it's useful, I got a requestId I could communicate.

Traffic Estimator Service API give not result properly as expected.

2018-02-21 Thread pratik patel
Hello,

If We

$1 MAX CPC SET get a result using api like that

Results for the keyword with text 'mars cruise' and match type 'BROAD':
Estimated average CPC: 1131088.00
Estimated ad position: 5.94
Estimated daily clicks: 575.53
Estimated daily cost: 123977688.00

$50 MAX CPC SET get a result using api like that

Results for the keyword with text 'mars cruise' and match type 'BROAD':
Estimated average CPC: 1919166.00
Estimated ad position: 3.46
Estimated daily clicks: 106.31
Estimated daily cost: 3323986.00

Question is if we increase maxcpc in setting of api then result clicks goes
down. It will be the right thing? No i think.

In other case Keyword planner also not give this strange result.

Can any one help on fix to give same result as keyword planner from api ?

when the $apiexception was detected I would simply sleep for 30 seconds and
then retry
again on a subsequent loop.

This solved the problem

Re: Traffic estimator service returns '[RateExceededError ]'

2017-11-28 Thread 'Peter Oliquino' via AdWords API Forum
Hi Ildar,

I could see that you are getting the *rateScope=ACCOUNT* included in the
error logs. This indicates that you are making too many requests or
invoking multiple threads at the same time against a single AdWords
account. I would recommend that you reduce the number of operations you
invoke all at once in order to avoid this error. To learn more about the
limits when using the AdWords API, you may refer to our rate limits
 guide,
specifically to this section

 for
your issue, and to our rate sheet
.

As for creating multiple campaigns, yes, you may use the BatchJobService

 since
it supports the CampaignOperation, however, it does not currently support
the TrafficEstimatorService. For more information on batch processing, you
may refer here
.

I hope this has been helpful.

Thanks and regards,

Traffic estimator service returns '[RateExceededError ]'

2017-11-28 Thread Ildar Khakimov
Good day

While running the traffic estimator service it throws the following error:
'[RateExceededError ]'

The error comes up at varying intervals, there doesn't seem to be a
specific number of results returned before it throws an error.

The API limit is definitely not exceeded. I also reviewed the discussion
here:
https://groups.google.com/forum/#!msg/adwords-api/SrsJf990r2s/SsWB_tSzKSsJ
, but seems like that this problem is not fixed.

What can be done to fix this?

Can I use the BatchJobService or it's used solely when creating new
campaigns?

Full error:

Re: traffic estimator service

2017-06-15 Thread 'Peter Oliquino' via AdWords API Forum
Hi,

The TrafficEstimatorService
<https://developers.google.com/adwords/api/docs/reference/v201705/TrafficEstimatorService>
 does
not necessarily require for your ads to be already serving before you can
use it to estimate keywords since the KeywordEstimateRequest
<https://developers.google.com/adwords/api/docs/reference/v201705/TrafficEstimatorService.KeywordEstimateRequest#keyword>
 does
not require a keyword ID that is associated to any other AdWords entities.
For more information, you may refer to our Traffic Estimator guide
<https://developers.google.com/adwords/api/docs/guides/traffic-estimator-service>
.

Best regards,
Peter

Re: Traffic Estimator Service - should it return the same output for the same input?

2016-09-08 Thread 'Joyce Lava' via AdWords API Forum
Hi Rachel,

Apologies for the delayed response. I'm afraid the SOAP logs attached does
not show the requests and response that shows different values. Could you
please send them to me again by clicking on *reply privately to author*
 option?

Also, as Charles said, the stats values may be different in different
requests since the service allows to estimate future traffic and then
decide whether the keyword is ideal. Could you please try that using our
example
code

 and
let me know the results?

Thanks,
Joyce, AdWords API Team

Re: Traffic Estimator Service - should it return the same output for the same input?

2016-09-08 Thread Rachel Carvalho
I don't think I should be seeing that much of a difference in such little
time between requests (< 1 second).

I'm attaching the SOAP requests and responses for 10 subsequent requests
that I did that yielded different values, if anyone from AdWords could take
a look, that would be great!

Thanks again!

2016-09-08 Thread Charles Michael
I think it makes sense for the metrics to vary, as bids change so should
the estimates. I personally have Google scripts that run every few minutes
so if you're targeting competitive keywords, it makes sense to have
frequent variations.

Re: Traffic Estimator Service - should it return the same output for the same input?

2016-09-08 Thread Charles Michael
Are you seeing different volumes for the same keywords or are you seeing
different MaxCPC's? The CPC's should be moving on a regular basis as
competition comes and goes, but the volumes should be relatively stable
with changes on a monthly basis.

Traffic Estimator Service - should it return the same output for the same input?

2016-09-08 Thread Rachel Carvalho
I've been working with the TrafficEstimatorService (v201603) I was
wondering if it is supposed to always output the same value when run
multiple times in a row.

It seems to me that when I started working with it (a month ago or maybe
more) I was able to always get the same values as long as I was inputting
the same keywords and the same Max CPC for my Ad Group.

But what I'm noticing now is that every time I run it, it outputs slightly
different values. Is that to be expected? It makes debugging code around it
very difficult.

Thank you!

Hi Pascal-Philippe,

A sample structure of a cURL request to add a budget is provided here
.
You can use this as a reference to construct the request to
TrafficEstimatorService

 and
use with cURL.

Traffic Estimator Service for R | Structure for a Curl Request?

2016-07-19 Thread Pascal-Philippe Bergeron
Hi all,

We are looking at building a Traffic Estimator Library in R. For as much as
i've seen, other R Library for Google API REST command manage to do it
through Curl.

The team and I were wondering if anyone has information on how we would
structure the CURL request for the traffic estimator.

Here is the exampe of functioning Request for the AdWords Report functions

 data <- RCurl::getURL(paste("
https://adwords.google.com/api/adwords/reportdownload/v";,
   apiVersion, sep = ""), httpheader = c(Authorization = google.auth,
   developerToken = credlist$auth.developerToken, clientCustomerId =
clientCustomerId,
   includeZeroImpressions = includeZeroImpressions), postfields =
statement,
   verbose = verbose, cainfo = cert, ssl.verifypeer = TRUE)

Any help on this?

Re: Traffic estimator service: discrepancy between API and UI results

2015-09-08 Thread Josh Radcliff (AdWords API Team)
Hi,

If you haven't done so already, I'd recommend checking out our Estimating
Traffic guide
<https://developers.google.com/adwords/api/docs/guides/traffic-estimator-service>,

which gives a nice overview of the service including how the various API
options map to the Keyword Planner tool.

The response from a *TrafficEstimatorService* call will only contain
estimates at the keyword level (KeywordEstimate
<https://developers.google.com/adwords/api/docs/reference/v201506/TrafficEstimatorService.KeywordEstimate>),

so it won't give you the headings you see in the user interface. However,
you might be able to approximate those headings by looking at the *min/max*
fields
across all of the returned *KeywordEstimate* objects.

Regarding the platform breakdown in the user interface, that option is not
available in the API.

Thanks,
Josh, AdWords API Team

Re: Traffic estimator service: discrepancy between API and UI results

2015-09-08 Thread Mark
Hello All,

Should I get Results same as UI using TrafficEstimatorService, If yes,
How I can get Top Estimated results like clicks, impressions, cost etc..
which is set under daily forecast and there predictions
like
Clicks
185 – 226

Is this value possible using API?

Also Is all platform (Mobile, Desktop, Tablets) supported using API?

I am asking this because using API I can get Keywords Estimates but not
generic estimates shown at top under UI.

Thanks

Re: Traffic Estimator Service INVALID_ID error

2015-03-27 Thread Josh Radcliff (AdWords API Team)
Hi Anh,

If the IDs in the request look correct, please make sure that the
*clientCustomerId* you are passing in the SOAP header is for the correct
account. It must be set to the AdWords account that contains the
campaign/adgroup/keyword in your request. You cannot set it to an MCC
account linked to that account, for example.

Thanks,
Josh, AdWords API Team

Hello All,

There was an issue with an internal system that resulted in lower rate
limits for TES service. We've already increased the limit and hope to
completely resolve this issue early next week.

We are getting the same exact error as well. We even tried rotating through

The account has been in use for a very long time and we never saw this
error before 24/11, we haven't increased our QPS and shouldn't be near the
rate limits.

Other functions such as TargetingIdeaService doesn't seem to be affected.

Hello Christian,

What kind of requests are those? We've set a lower limits on the PLACEMENT
ideas request type as it is deprecated but other types should not be
affected.

Re: Traffic Estimator Service: RateExceededError

2014-11-24 Thread Christian Borck
Hi Ray,

thank you for your response. We've implemented the suggested strategies to
handle varying limits.
But: Since 3 days we are experiencing a significant drop in QPS over all
accounts we estimating traffic for:

[RateExceededError ]

We already throttled to 1 QPS and still get this error. Did you change
something concerning the limits in general?
In total we get less than 1/6th of the performance compared to the
performance before.

Thanks, Christian

Hi Christian,

Apologies for the wrong link, I meant this
link:
https://github.com/googleads/googleads-dotnet-lib/blob/master/examples/AdWords/CSharp/v201409/Optimization/EstimateKeywordTraffic.cs

I think we allow only estimates for distinct keywords in a single request,
even though the bid range is different. In your case, you'd need to send
multiple requests.

Cheers,
Anash

Hi Christian,

I apologize, the original link should
be
https://github.com/googleads/googleads-dotnet-lib/blob/master/examples/AdWords/CSharp/v201409/Optimization/EstimateKeywordTraffic.cs

That said, we don't support sending duplicate keywords in a single request,
even though the bids being requested are separate. I'm afraid you can't
optimize the requests by packing both estimates into a single API call.

Cheers

Hi Anash,
Thanks for your quick reply. Unfortunately your link doesn't work properly.

I know, in fact we are sending multiple keywords per request already.
The issue is getting estimates for a distinct keyword, but for different
maxCpc's within a single request, eg. estimates for:
"buy shoes" with maxCpc 0.5$
"buy shoes" with maxCpc 1.0$

Best regards,

Traffic Estimator Service returning DistinctError.DUPLICATE_ELEMENT

2014-11-06 Thread Christian Borck
This question is related to the traffic estimator. We like to get several
estimates for a keyword (i.e. estimates for three different max-cpcs).
Currently we’re doing three separate requests, one for each max-cpc. In an
attempt to optimize this, we combined the three requests into one. As a
result, we get duplicate-element errors (DistinctError.DUPLICATE_ELEMENT).
Does this mean, that we can only have one estimate per keyword per request?
The API documentation for AdGroupEstimateRequest states for the field
keywordEstimateRequests: … This field must contain distinct elements …
However, we’re unsure what „distinct“ means in this context; is only the
keyword-id relevant?

The keywords we are estimating are existing keywords, thus the request
contains a campaign-id, ad-group-ids and keyword-ids.

Christian,

Please review the Rate Limit guide
<https://developers.google.com/adwords/api/docs/guides/rate-limits> - freshly
created new AdWords account may have a significantly more restrictive rate
limit. The rate limit may be relaxed over time for freshly created
accounts. You may want to explore the different strategies in the guide to
deal w/ the rate limits.

Thanks,

Traffic Estimator Service: RateExceededError

2014-09-16 Thread Christian Borck
In one of our applications we're using the traffic estimator service to get
keyword estimates for different maxCPCs and get rate-limit errors
(name=RateExceededError, rateName=RATE_LIMIT, rateScope=ACCOUNT) on the
account level as soon as we do on average more than 3 requests per second.
This significantly slows down our system since we have accounts with a
large number of campaigns and we want to handle them in parallel (on the
campaign-level). We'd like to know if there is any way to increase the
number of permitted requests. Or can you suggest a different way to deal
with this problem?

Thanks,
Christian

Secondly, for the same criteria, could I trouble you to also send me the

This will help me investigate this question

Traffic estimator service: discrepancy between API and UI results

2014-01-10 Thread João Pedro Lisboa
Hi all,

I am using the most recent version of Adwords API (v201309) and I am having
problems with Traffic Estimator service.
When I perform the a query through API, results don't match with UI.

For example, I want to do a query to find the estimated traffic for the
keyword "sapato masculino" (men's shoes), restricted to Brazil and
Portuguese language. I do it for a set of bids, in order to find out the
best initial bit to set up on my keyword settigns. The problem is that when
I do the same query through Adwords UI, it results in different numbers.
API's results are always more optimist. When I set the bit to a high value,
such as R$ 99,99, the number of impressions are the same for the both
results. But the maximum values for average position, cpc and CTR (and,
consequently, number of clicks) is never the same --> API's results are
better then UI's. Of course, I am using the same account for the both of
methods...

Can somebody helps me please?

Following is my source code (in C#). I perform the test for values from
R$0,01 to R$0,10. Only the maximum number of impressions matches with UI's
results:

===

using Google.Api.Ads.AdWords.Lib;
using Google.Api.Ads.AdWords.v201309;

Re: Traffic Estimator Service (v201109) fails partially for some keywords

2012-05-24 Thread Sumanth MN
Hi Ian,

Thanks a lot for the response.

I went through the posts. Did you hear back from the Adwords team regarding
this issue?

Making a request with only 5 keywords would increase the number of calls
that the PHP client would need to make resulting in eating up a lot of API
quota.

Thanks,
Sumanth

Traffic Estimator Service - in the sandbox

2012-05-08 Thread Paweł Jóźwik
In the sandbox manual we have:
Services that return statistics will intentionally return fake data, and
certain features will behave
differently
than
their production counterparts.

Does it mean that traffic estimations will be random or in other way
different then real?

Re: Traffic Estimator Service (v201109) fails partially for some keywords

2012-04-23 Thread Ian Knox
Sadly, the only way I know of is to submit each keyword in it's own
campaign and adgroup which limits you to 5 (yes,* 5*) keywords per request.
I've asked about this in the past and the API team has referred me to the
general adwords group, where my requests have fallen on deaf ears.

In the standalone Traffic Estimator Online Tool there is no concept of an

I still want to use bulk queries and there is no way to differentiate

Hi Sumanth,

All the keywords in an AdGroupEstimateRequest are evaluated as if they were
in the same ad group, in which some keywords may "steal" traffic from other
keywords if they are a better match for the search query.

Traffic Estimator Service (v201109) fails partially for some keywords

2012-01-26 Thread Sumanth MN
Hi,

I am seeing an issue while attempting to use TrafficEstimatorService
for a list of keywords. Some of the keywords return "0" value
responses; however, the API comes back with correct values when
attempted individually.

I am able to reproduce the issue consistently.

Please find the response received below and follow keywords "company"
and "event". Both the keywords fail to get a valid response when all
the 11 keywords are sent via the API; "event" keyword comes back with
a valid response but "company" fails when only 4 keywords are request;
"company" keyword succeeds only when a single keyword is requested.

Re: Getting UNSUPPORTED_TYPE_IS_USED errors when using Traffic Estimator Service with location or language criteria.

2011-10-21 Thread Eric Koleda
Hi Benjamin,

As is the case throughout the API, you must specify the xsi:type attribute
on an element that can be one of many different types. In this case, the
element should have the attribute
xsi:type="namesp2:Location" on it.

Getting UNSUPPORTED_TYPE_IS_USED errors when using Traffic Estimator Service with location or language criteria.

2011-10-19 Thread bfrancis...@gmail.com
I am attempting to extract a series of traffic estimations for
keywords, using the same location filter I could use on the traffic
estimator service page. (location: US) with the new 201109 API release
(
http://code.google.com/apis/adwords/docs/reference/v201109/TrafficEstimatorService.CampaignEstimateRequest.html
).

Looking up the CriteriaID for the united states on
http://code.google.com/apis/adwords/docs/appendix/countrycodes.html, I
see that the CriteriaID is 2840.
With this information, I constructed the following SOAP message:

https://adwords.google.com/api/adwords/o/
v201109" xmlns:namesp2="https://adwords.google.com/api/adwords/cm/
v201109" xmlns:soap="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/";
xmlns:soapenc="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/encoding/";
xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance";
xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema";
soap:encodingStyle="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/encoding/";>

 **
 **
 **

   CampaignEstimateRequest

AdgroupEstimateRequest

KeywordEstimateRequest

la vega isd
BROAD

Money
2

  2840
  Location

I left the campaign and adgroup ids blank, because I want traffic
estimates only for the keyword, and I added a criteria at the
campaignEstimateRequest level, so it affects all the keywords.
However, when sending this message, I get an exception:

ApiException

selector.campaignEstimateRequests[0].criteria.criteria[0]

com.google.ads.api.services.campaignmgmt.common.criterion.Criterion
RequestError.UNSUPPORTED_TYPE_IS_USED
RequestError
INVALID_INPUT

If I omit the criteria field, the response is as expected, and I get a
global traffic estimation for the keyword.
Apparently the criteria has an invalid type, but the documentation
specifies that Language and Location are valid criteria to use at this
point. I've been trying to figure this out for a day now, and the
documentation isn't terribly helpful. Can anybody spot what's wrong?

Re: Question about Traffic Estimator Service figures

2011-05-09 Thread David Torres
Hi Donald,

I don't see what's wrong with those values, basically the service is
returning to you in INR currency because that is the currency set in your
account. Then you are also telling the service you are willing to bid big
amounts of money in your ads, so the system is almost granting you 100% of
the impressions at highest price psossible in this case I believe at an
average cost per click of around $1.6 which is not crazy off, that
multiplied by a number of 147 clicks will give you a total cost around $242,
and of course this is not taking in consideration any budget restriction
that in real life you can set for your campaigns.

Perhaps you can give me more information why you consider this data to be
off reality.

Best,

-David Torres - AdWords API Team

Question about Traffic Estimator Service figures

2011-05-05 Thread Donald
Hi,

I've been trying out the example code to view the traffic estimator
service figures.

My adwords account is configured to use INR as the currency.

Here's a sample result that I managed to obtain:

Results for the keyword with text 'dog breeds' and match type 'EXACT':
Estimated average CPC: 73289264 Estimated ad position: 1.00 Estimated
daily clicks: 147 Estimated daily cost: 10849857024

The estimated average CPC and estimated daily cost do not seem to make
sense.

I referred to this post:
http://groups.google.com/group/adwords-api/msg/644c17da6ab3c04e?pli=1
in which Eric Koleda has mentioned what the possible problem is.

I've set MaxCpc in this fashion: $adGroupEstimateRequest->maxCpc = new
Money(100);

What is the correct manner to retrieve meaningful results in terms of
INR, and USD?

I'd greatly appreciate any help!

Thanks!

Hi Jean,

The API doesn't provide the generic estimates, but the account estimates are
more accurate and should be used instead.

What if I want generic estimates, meaning not based on a specific account,

Yes, the account data will be used when generating the estimates. If you

Re: Traffic estimator service API

2011-03-23 Thread Jean . Thiann-BoMorel
Hi Eric

Do you think it has anything to do with the account I am querying with ? I
tried using 2 different accounts and I get different figures so I guess it
is using the account data.

On the UI (here) I don't need to specify an account while the api requires
one to query it.

I need to get traffic estimate regardless of the account I am using
exactly like the UI. Is it possible ?

Re: Traffic estimator service API

2011-03-17 Thread Eric Koleda
Hi Jean,

The TrafficEstimatorService does require that you provide a max CPC,
although using a very large max CPC should emulate the Traffic Estimator
Sandbox UI pretty well. What is an example of a keyword where is doesn't
match?

Traffic estimator service API

2011-03-15 Thread Jtbm
Hi

When using the web interface to pull a keyword estimate it is not compulsory
to fill in the max cpc so that it uses an unlimited budget.

Is it possible to replicate this scenario via the .net API ?

When I create a AdGroupEstimateRequest instance, I have to define a micro
amount otherwise it doesn't return any result. I have tried to set a high
number but it still doesn't match the web interface figures with no max cpc
defined.

However, the figures match perfectly when max cpc is defined both on the web
interface and in the .net api.

Thanks,

Jean

Re: Traffic Estimator Service(v201008) returning improper results

2011-01-24 Thread AdWords API Advisor
Hi Eric,

I've done some more digging, and the zero estimates for some keywords
is due to effective duplicates. Consider your request using the
following keywords:

1) injury attorney san diego
2) injury attorneys san diego
3) san diego injury attorney
4) attorney diego injury san
5) san diego injury attorneys

All the keywords are BROAD match, which means that the order of the
words doesn't matter. This means that keywords #1, #3, and #4 are
equivalent. Likewise keywords #2 and #5 are equivalent. Because
these are all within the same AdGroupEstimateRequest, the TES is
estimating how much traffic these keywords would receive if they were
all added to the same ad group. Because of the effective duplicate
keywords, all of the traffic is being assigned to one of them (in this
case the first appearance) and the others are assigned zero traffic.
If you want to evaluate each of these keywords independently, then you
need to wrap them in their own AdGroupEstimateRequest.

Best,
- Eric

some cool mouse that allows you to fractionally click something but my

Eric,

Traffic Estimator Tool
Keyword: san diego injury attorney
Global Monthly Searches: 9,900
Local Monthly Searches: 8,100
Estimated Avg. CPC: $24.82
Estimated Ad Position: 1.31
Estimated Daily Clicks: 0
Estimated Daily Cost: $11.52

Google API
requestId=61dfc72348e1d8d016f70389f95fc3cd
keyword: san diego injury attorney
matchtype: BROAD
mincpc:0
maxcpc:0
minsearchpos:0
maxsearchpos:0
estdailyclicks:0
minclicks:0
maxclicks:0
estdailycost:0
mindailycost:0
maxdailycost:0

So how do I get the API to give me back matching results?? I even
tried seeding with large maxCpc microamounts hoping to get some
useable data. In its current state Im unsure if the API is worth the
investment

Thx,

Eric

Re: Traffic Estimator Service(v201008) returning improper results

2011-01-12 Thread AdWords API Advisor
Hi Sambaiah,

It looks like your account is configured to use the Indian rupee (INR)
as it's currency. Therefore a maxCpc of 1,000,000 = 1 INR = ~0.02
USD. Because this bid is so low the traffic estimator is correct
guessing that you won't receive any impressions or clicks.

Eric,

In your case it looks like the service is returning a fractional
clicks estimate, which is rounded down for the clicks field to 0, but
leads to a positive cost. The Traffic Estimator web interface is
showing the same results.

Best,
- Eric

Re: Traffic Estimator Service(v201008) returning improper results

2011-01-12 Thread Eric Haskins
We are seeing the same results lots of

minclick 0
maxclick 0
maxposition 0
minposition 0

Some have all zeros yet tell me my daily cost will be microAmount
if Im getting 0 position 0 clicks how can it cost me money??

We are using Traffic Estimator Service(v201008)

The request ID: d28e95bf39eddfb3d652575d3e16907f for Traffic Estimator
Service(v201008)

But when we login via mcc and use the Traffic Estimator Tool we get
valid results for the same keywords. As I said in my previous post ,
was referred to this one, I we are paying for use of an API IMHO I
should think we should see very similar responses. If not what are we
paying for?? As a programmer its hard to trust data I can't validate
somewhere

Thx for any tips

Traffic Estimator Service With Zero MAX CPC

2011-01-10 Thread Clain
Hi Team,

I have been trying to get the estimates with Zero Max CPC / budget
and the API returns zero for all the values
keyword : 'Auto repair' and match type 'BROAD':

Estimated average CPC: 0
Estimated ad position: 0.00
Estimated daily clicks: 0
Estimated daily cost: 0

But in the Google estimator web tool will return estimated values and
estimates using which we can come to a conclusion about the budget.

How can this be done using Traffic Estimator API?

Sandbox account returns some junk values when using 0 value. I also
tried with empty Max CPC / budget but that also returned the above
results.

API is returning the results when we are providing Max CPC / budget ..
say 10 as value.

Thank you
Clain Dsilva

2011-01-10 Thread AdWords API Advisor
Hi Sambaiah,

The request ID is returned as a SOAP header in the response. You can
get it by looking at the SOAP XML logs.

Hi Sambaiah,

I'm not able to replicate this problem on my end. Can you provide the
request ID of such a request, so I can view the full details in the
logs?

Best,
- Eric
