Anyone having trouble with amazon complaining about your ISP? I've got
customers telling me they can't connect to their amazon prime anymore.
This message shows up: "Your device is connected to the Internet using a

That is close to on target to what Bill Gates is doing, If you have the
time, check out the series "Inside Bill's Brain (Decoding Bill Gates)
".

Quite an unusual individual who few people have really understood. He is a
voracious reader, and when he studies something, he usually reads several
books on the subject. Just one example of what his foundation has been
working on is toilet/sewage and clean water. The obstacles are enormous in
places with limited resources.

I found the series pretty interesting, if a tiny bit dry.

If you can surgically block everything below .6 (I think it is .6 might be 1)
you can get 6 dB more signal than free space path loss. That is the principle
of zone plate antennas.

I agree, if you are seeing the second, you need to lower or keep going higher
to get all of the third or you are losing ground.

You may actually want to lower the unit. The higher you go the more even number
Fresnel zones you expose which are out of phase for the odd numbered ones. This
will actually lower signal. Higher is not always better. Best practice is to
try to achieve between .6 and 1 Fresnel zone clearance. Going higher exposes
the second zone and starts you losing signal strength.

Re: [AFMUG] First 60Ghz LR alignment job ever

2021-09-15 Thread Brian Webster
You may actually want to lower the unit. The higher you go the more even number
Fresnel zones you expose which are out of phase for the odd numbered ones. This
will actually lower signal. Higher is not always better. Best practice is to
try to achieve between .6 and 1 Fresnel zone clearance. Going higher exposes
the second zone and starts you losing signal strength.

Thank you,

Brian Webster
