We use all the above, depending on the POP.

We've found they are all reliable as long as the GPS antenna is in a 
decent location.  We have one syncpipe that loses sync about once a 
month, but we're certain it's because of the poor location we're using 
for the GPS antenna.

We have had some of our longer runs (280ft+) have occasional problems with all 
of the sync over power sources…   sometimes its great for a couple weeks, 
months then stops, sometimes no go from the beginning, sometimes everything 
perfect.

The longer runs, at times,  will definitely “stress” the dynamics of SOP in any 
environment.

We are installing both and using CMM, CTM, SyncInjectors until something stops 
working S.O.P. and then have the pucks to use to get us by.  Saved us many 
tower climbs already.  As a rule, we keep the back to back APs on the same sync 
source (SOP or puck) and that seems to work fine, even with the other 2 back to 
back APs on the original SOP sync source.

Generally the same.  Some say you want to have one sync source.  I think
it's worth it to use a Packetflux.
