So if the specific style can be updated by going through a "Modify...' option which will invoke a 'Styles and Formatting' dialog [not the present Stylist, but something more user-friendly and well laid] from where the user can modify the properties of the style [font/paragraph/borders/numbering/etc.]. I would file an enhancement issue for this separately. What I believe is that at present the styles shown in this 'Template Management' Dialog are only paragraph styles available in the specific template. Instead of this the user should be given with a detailed list of categorised styles [character/paragraph/page/ etc.] which he could drag-n-drop to the other templates if one opts for or use an 'Add/Update Style' button to add the specific style to the template he chooses. To fhlt: By Stylist I'm assuming you mean the Paragraph... option under the Format menu because I don't get any tabs like "indents & spacing" under the Stylist feature. Please correct me if I'm wrong. I don't think the defect is in the indent itself. I will attach a screenshot of the file I created, formatting a paragraph following the steps described (without the tab). >From the file "testcase.sxw", by pressing enter after line 1, a new paragraph >is being created therefore line 2 is in fact the FIRST line of another paragraph. The indent Before Text applies only to the other lines of a paragraph (continuous text overflowing on multiple lines with no Carriage return in between). That's probably why the indent is not being saved. I have also tried out several cases with tab and indent and they do behave as expected. There are several sheets of information that are linked to s summary page. The summary page is two pages long. The individual sheets that information is entered are all about 24 pages long. While on the summary page I tried to print. In excel this is a two page sheet. If I look at the print preview it shows two pages to be printed. When I print through the file menu or use the print button on the task bar it prints 36 pages. If I select "selection" from the print menu it still prints the 36 pages. Each tab in the spreadsheet shows 36 pages when you bring up the print menu.
