That means the dialog is not modal for the stylist (which is after all a modeless sibling). The patch works by input disabling all children of the document window, but this is not strictly what we'd want. If it is not intentional that the stylist is usable while the dialog is open, please use it as parent (which includes the stylist in the modality chain and will prevent it from handling input during the dialog's execution). If on the other hand that was intentional, the crash actually happens because the dialog is executed directly in the popupmenu handler (the menu from the menubutton in the stylist); so when the stylist gets destroyed, its menu child is still on the stack several frames above. I have some cells with contents like " x | o" and similar. When read, oocalc changes the amount of whitespace at the beginning and the end of the text. Fortunately, the effect can be seen from the difference between the .fods files when I start oocalc with the file and immediately afterwards save it. I will provide the files before.fods and after.fods to show the difference. To reproduce the effect, you can do the following: 1) prompt> cp before.fods test.fods 2) prompt> oocalc test.fods & 3) Then, in oocalc, just save the file. Now, test.fods should differ from before.fods (and not only in the timestamp). At times these "language variants" are treated like different languages. Users
that rely on different "English writing sources" will run into differnt variants
(UK, US, ZA, CAN, ..) without actually noticing it. And collect data into
different AutoCorrr tables.
Note: Using one AutoCorr table for several languages is similar to the need of
re-use of other linguistic features (spellcheck, hyphenation, thesaurus) to use
for other "User-defined English variants" that do not have the support yet.
At least, for updating a certain user-defined dictionary ("adding up words to
the personal spellchecker setup"), it can be set to "ONE language" or "ALL
languages".

However the Navigator side-window will not allow you to double-click on the sub-document, nor click the "Edit" button, to access a read/write version of the sub-document. Double-clicking or clicking the "Edit" toolbar button does nothing at all while the URL-linked sub-document is selected. This problem does not exist if the sub-document is linked in via a file path (z:\...) to the same WebDAV server (NetDrive providing the linkage.) If both URL and path-linked files are included, only the path-linked sub-documents can be opened for editing. It happens regardless of whether or not the WebDAV server is secured. There are no errors reported, and server logs indicate OpenOffice.org is not even attempting to contact it -- it's not because the server is throwing any errors. These same sub-documents can be opened and saved properly if using File->Open... and pasting in the same URL used to link the document into the master document. It does not matter whether the master document was pulled from the WebDAV server or not; the URL's given to it were absolute, and it did succeed in loading them the first time (for inclusion.) The problem only seems to be with the Navigator UI refusing to open the sub-documents when double-clicking/"Edit"-clicking. If that worked, I think the rest would work as well. (This is not a request for the ability to edit sub-documents directly from inside the master document without opening them into their own editor window -- while that would be helpful, it's not a current feature even with local files, so I'm not asking.)
