2. click 'C14'
3. right click 'C14' -> 'Insert comment'

   comment text becomes invisible

comment text becomes visible
7. Right click sheet name Tab -> 'Move/Copy sheet'
8. check "copy" checkbox, select "move to end position, 
9. chantge to new sheet

A document can contain thousands of markers of entry.
The Navigator can handle? I think not.

my proposal

1) A kind of hyperlinks for page numbers in the indexes (like now is for
footnotes and their anchor text).
Thus it becomes possible to quickly find the document marker.

2) It should be possible to use the dialog "Edit Index Entry" directly into the
index. In order to edit together all the identical markers of entry or subentry.

Apparently OpenOffice sometimes returns an incorrect End-of-Data position.  The 
attached file is for illustration.

(1) There is a single macro defined, and assigned to the button on the second 
row.
(2) For simplicity, new row will always be added at Row 19 – to avoid pulling 
in other macros to complicate the environment.
(3) After adding a new line, ie. pressing the button to execute the macro, the 
End-Of-Data position will mess up (pressing Ctrl-End will show): getting to a 
blank area of the worksheet.
(4) The majority of the macro code is taken from recording within OpenOffice.
(5) Two strange things observed :-
(5.1) By taking away cell comments (ALL OF THEM), proper End-of-Data position 
will be restored.
(5.2) Opening the file alone will not trigger the error, ie. the correct End-of-
Data will be returned by pressing Ctrl-End.  However just by saving the file 
without anything else done will trigger the error, ie. after saving the file, 
the bad End-of-Data position will be returned.

Sorry that I cannot further pinpoint exactly what and where the problem is, but 
apparently this definitely is an issue with the system.

On installation of latest Dev build (OOo-dev 3.3.0; Dev300m83; build:9511, the
installer creates a new folder in C:\program files\program. This would normally
be created in C:\program files\OOo-dev 3
It doesn't seem to interfere with functions.

I had a document open from my desktop that stayed open when I closed the
computer and went to sleep mode.  I tried to open a .docx file from my Yahoo
mail and it prompted document recovery for the original open file.  This process
froze the computer and I stopped the task in the task manager.  I then attempted
to open the file from my email again and it wouldn't open.  Nothing happened, so
I stopped the process, restarted the computer and opened Writer without opening
a file first.  I then tried opening the file from my email and it started the
document recovery process on the untitled file.  Whether I run document recovery
or cancel the process, it still will not open other files.  I have tried other
files than the one in my email and have tried to restart my computer.

I do confirm the described behaviour. However, I don´t see any problem with
that. From my point of view, this works as expected.

The number format of the source cells does not necessarily determine the number
format of the categorie´s captions. AFAIK that´s not specified.

I tend to classify this bug report as INVALID. By no means this is a defect. It
could be a feature request, but then the requested behaviour would have to be
specified for every case, especially for those cases when different cells in the
source with different number formats lead to one categorie´s caption.

If no further comments wihtin 7 days, I will close this issue as invalid.

When stepping through text using cursor down / cursor up / pageup /pagedown and
cursor moves from text without bullet points to text with bullet points, focus
is shifted to the bullet edit dialog box and leave the edit window.

The result is that scrolling up/down with the cursor is halted. A click back to

There have been complaints by many users in the Ubuntu community (myself
included). There have been some issues we have noticed with the default
OpenOffice 3.2 which comes included with Ubuntu 10.04 Lucid Lynx. All included
programs (Writer, Calc, Impress, Draw) takes an unusually long time to open
(whether it is a file, or the application itself), and to save.
It also effects OpenOffice 3.2.1, which I downloaded a few days ago to test. The
issue still remains.

We did notice, however, that the bug is caused by wired connections. A user who
accidently connected to a wireless network has said he did not experience the
same issues as with his wired connection. So it seems users who has a wired
connection (like me, I use ADSL) experience the issues I have explained. When I
disconnect my connection (auto EthO), the application and any file I wish to
open opens within a second, but when my internet is connected, it takes 15 to 20
seconds to load.

hi, I've heard that OOo 3.3 will enhance Calc allowing it to handle up to 2^20 
columns from the actual upper limit which is 2^16 (65536 columns)

2^16 is actually the same upper limit for autocorrect database entries.

do you think that Writer autocorrect database could be upgraded to 2^16 to 2^20 
as well as Calc?

Am running Windows 2003 service pack 2 -
After opening, editing and saving a document subsequent 'double clicks' -
requests to open - documents result in no action.
I noticed - via Task manager - multiple soffice.bin, soffice.exe and swriter.exe
processes running. If I shut them down the problem was resolved allowing me to
open documents for editing.
Also, after these failures, on shutting down Windows an error box appears saying
'DDE Server not responding' (or very similar message).

2. From the Form Controls toolbar, I set Design Mode On
3. From the Form Controls toolbar, I click on Combo Box and draw a combox box
control on the spreadsheet

dialog appears.
