Impress splits PDFs into so many text frames (nearly 100 per page), that the formatting is often messed up. If I save the file as ODT and re-open it everything is fine. If I save it in .doc (2003..) format and open it up in Word Viewer 2003 everything seems fine. But if I reopen the .doc file that was created in open office the cross-reference is just a gray space. If printed it is just a white space. I have forms with subforms that have been working since Ubuntu 9.04. After upgrading to 10.10 from 10.04, the following situation occurs with all databases and subform entries: When adding or modifying a record in a subform, the following message is displayed: Error inserting record No value specified for parameter 1 Selecting more gives: SQL Status: 07001 No value specified for parameter 1 If I choose OK, the error reoccurs. If I change focus from that subform to the form or another subform, the error reappears. If I choose X to exit the error message and exit the form without saving it, when I reopen the form, the subform record(s) is/are there. I get a duplicate record for each time I exit the message popup with OK or change focus to the form or another subform. I can delete subform records with no problems, and I can add, modify, and delete form records with no problems (assuming appropriate cascade options are set in the databases). The first file contains all the formulas. Caution, if you ask it to be updated during startup it will screw up and you can't use it any longer! The other file is the result of that, answering yes during startup, to update links. You first get a JRE defective message. After aknowledging that error for 66 times it will let you onto the spreadsheet. When you scroll down it will stop working and after a while give a runtime error. Try it with the second file I attached herewith. Hope you can help me. I am struggling with this program for a couple of weeks now. I am not getting very far. I found out that I can use linking rather than refering to cells in other spreadsheets. That seems to work better. There are other issues, however I don't want to report with this message. For example I can format a cell for currency, but when I call up the template and enter information into the cell it recognizes the information as 'text' and not currency and I have to reformat it to currency.This also happens on dates.
