fixed. The bug in postprocess/packcomponents/makefile.mk was that registration
of the vbaevents lib depended on the ENABLE_VBA define, which does not exist
anymore. Instead the registration has to happen unconditionally.

fs-brinzing: the nothing happens when you click the button is a duplicate of
issue 116991. However, with the fix for this issue, I also get the error (in
m100) which ab describes for m99. So I am not sure whether there is still
another problem.
= It's at your discretion whether you want to close this issue here as
duplicate.

Recently, the UNO dialog implementation was enhanced to, by default, support the
css.awt.XDialog2 interface (extending css.awt.XDialog). With DEV300.m99, this
got lost, again.

To reproduce this, open the attached document, and execute the contained macro.
It will create a dialog, and check for the existence of the css.awt.XDialog2
interface. In m98, the interface is there, in m99/m100, it isn't anymore.

Seems this affects Oracle-provided builds only, 'cause those are, since m100,
built without VBA support. I do not know the reason for this, and need to check
before I know how to proceed with this issue.

for the record:

The macro was not executed because two listeners were bound to the event (too
*all* form control related events, that is). The first one, the
ScriptEventListenerWrapper, attempted to forward the event to a
ooo.vba.ScriptListener implementation, whose creation failed with a
RuntimeException. This exception was caught way too late, this the second
listener, which would have executed the Basic macro, was never called.

Still, I do not have any idea why it worked in m99 - looking at the code, it

I am not sure about the unused and not implemented part:
http://svn.services.openoffice.org/opengrok/search?q=ooo.vba.EventListenerdefs=refs=path=hist=project=%2FDEV300_m100

(note I misspelled the name, it is EventListener, not ScriptListener)

I darkly remember Noel implemented this for getting some MSO-compatible events,
e.g. automatically calling something a possibly present SomeButton_Click macro
when a button named SomeButton is clicked. At least I remember having seen
this feature working, and I *suppose* it is the ScriptEventListenerWrapper which
connected to it.

I still need to find this feature (resp. the issue for it), and see if it still
works. If not, it would be a regression in our MSO interop.

and in fact, this document works (i.e. clicking the button raises a message box)
in OOo 3.3, but not in DEV300.m100 anymore. Also, the fix for this bug here
doesn't fix the problem.

The assertion shown during loading (actually: *one* of the assertions. @dr: Do
you feel responsible for the first one?) suggests that in fact, a missing
VBA-related functionality causes this.

Going to submit a separate issue.

note: the fix here is about the list box being completely empty. The empty
cells should be ignored part is not fixed (as written over there in issue

all why it worked this way in 3.2.1).

can reproduce in DEV300.m98, can not reproduce in CWS gridsort, where column
resizing has been re-implemented from scratch. resolving as FIXED, adding to CWS
gridsort for verification.

Note that the macro runs nearly unchanged, except the RowHeaderWidth attribute
now is at the GridControlModel, not the GridDataModel.

fs-np:
Look at
DEV300/ooo.m99/odk/wntmsci12/bin/odkcommon/docs/common/ref/com/sun/star/container/EnumerableMap.html#createImmutable:
it also reads Pair string, string for the Values parameter, instead of
Pair any, any . So, there's definitely something wrong here. Not sure if
this is a platform issue, since I agree it doesn't happen in all cases. But at
least it happens in an MWS build, it seems.

a matter of taste, I suppose. I would agree to tono here that the include
belongs into undo.hxx, since I need to include some hxx file to make a
forward-declared class known is a pattern which most devs know, while I need
to include some hxx file to make a define actually usable is, well, less usual.

Even more so as in this particular case, devs working on some
not-to-be-mentioned platform might be fooled into including the wrong file, and
then wonder why the build breaks on other platforms ... (numeric_limits does not
only come from limits, IIRC).

No issue exists for Grid/LineColor, but in CWS gridsort, the property was

we'll see.

If the bug you describe doesn't happen with OpenOffice.org, but only with
LibreOffice, then you're at the wrong place here. LO added own code to the OOo
code base, and is constantly diverging. So, chances are that your problem is
indeed LO-specific.

graphite/makefile.mk
(http://hg.services.openoffice.org/DEV300/file/dae1ffc5c15d/graphite/makefile.mk)
 has
some hard-coded checks for $(debug) being true. This means that those checks
evaluate to false if you build with, say dmake debug=1 (which is perfectly
legitimate). Unfortunately, this implies that such a debug=1 build breaks in
module graphite.

The proper check in the makefile would be to test for $(debug) != .

Currently, the smoketest (in smoketestoo_native) succeeds even if assertions are
raised during one of the tests.
In order to ... increase the awareness of the significance of assertions as tool
to ensure product quality, the smoketest should fail in such cases.

@sb: don't think so - aborting assertions are still different from assertions
which just make the smoketest fail, aren't they?

In what way? Compare every assertion ever thrown during running OOo kills the
process with assertions thrown during the smoketest mark the smoketest as
'failed', please.

I will object any change to our code which we're in no way prepared for.

We already have acceptance problems with the current state, where developers do
not use non-product versions because there are so many assertions. Having a
non-product version where an assertion isn't an ignorable message box, but
implies termination of the process, won't get any better acceptance. It is
simply too early to implement this.

However, implementing smoketest breakage upon assertions is something which
won't change the daily work directly, but still give assertions at least a
*little* more attention, and thus educate people.

@sb: Well ... we should discuss this with a broader audience, then. I am very
reluctant to introduce the change you propose in issue 109142, simply because I
think we won't get acceptance for this. And such a chance isn't worth anything
without acceptance amongst the developers. If you can convince me that a
majority of developers will accept this - then let's do it. If not, we should do
this incrementally.

In fact, 1.0.1 seems to have been linked against a cppuhelper library versioned
with UDK_3.6, where the one in OOo 3.2.1 has version UDK_3.5 only.

Not sure what to do best here: We need a extension version which has a
min-version-dependency of OOo 3.3. However, naming this extension version
1.0.1 too would not be good - it would cause confusion. Naming it with any other
name would also be bad, as it wouldn't solve the problem for those upgrading
from 1.0.0 to 1.0.1.

Need to discuss this ...

css.awt.UnoControlDialog is defined to support the XDialog interface
(http://api.openoffice.org/docs/common/ref/com/sun/star/awt/UnoControlDialog.html).
However, right now (DEV300), it supports XDialog2, derived from XDialog. Sadly,
we cannot reflect this in the service definition, since the service is
published, so it cannot be changed.

To improve our documentation here, it would be desirable to update the
UnoControlDialog spec to include XDialog2 now, and at the same time update the
reference DB against which the API compatibility is checked.

fs-jsc: You volunteered to do so ... thanks.

reflect the current filter - i.e. none, i.e. it should not show a selection.

One idea in the new GNU build system is that no output modules exist in the
source tree. Instead, all output is generated into a dedicated workdir in
solenv.

However, when doing a build --all/--from --html, then build.pl (or some
subordinate step) still creates a $OUTPATH folder in the migrated source
modules. The only content therein is $OUTPATH/misc/log/*.log - the files where
build.pl stores the log files when invoked with the --html switch.

For consistency reasons, and to continue to keep the source tree clean, build.pl
should generate its logs into workdir, too.

[dba-issues] [Issue 115250] formatted control with date is 2 days off

--- Additional comments from f...@openoffice.org Mon Jan 24 21:04:16 +

note: the control in the form is formatted with the format code 'DD-MM;N/A'.
This means that positive numbers are formatted as DD-MM, negative numbers are
formatted as N/A, and the format for 0 is not defined specifically (as the
syntax for format codes is 'positive-format;negative-format;0-format', see
the online help), thus the format for positive values is used.

Now before the fix, the date value of the first two rows was internally (and
incorrectly) treated as -2, thus it was rendered using the N/A format. After
the fix, the value is (correctly) treated as 0, which means it is rendered as
DD-MM. Consequently, it looks as if the N/A-part of the format is ignored.
It isn't, it is just specified at the wrong position.

The correct format code for the field, after the fix, is 'DD-MM;DD-MM;N/A'.
This way, 0 will be rendered as N/A, as desired.

In the new GNU make build system, the various deliverables generated in a given
module are put into a place shared with all other modules. As a consequence, it
is somewhat difficult to (automatically, i.e. scripted) find out which files
have just been created by a build in the current module. This information,
however, would be interesting for further processing, e.g. automatic copying of
built libraries, executables, and resource files into an existing OOo
installation.

So, it would be helpful if the build system could expose the information it
already has. Something like
  $ cd sfx2
  $ make showdeliverables
  /dev/o_undoapi/DEV300/unxlngi6/workdir/LinkTarget/Library/libsfxli.so
  /dev/o_undoapi/DEV300/unxlngi6/workdir/ResTarget/sfxen-US.res
  ...
The target should emit full paths to the generated output files.

I am not sure about the file types to include in this. Personally, I am
interested libraries, executables, jar files, and resource files. Other people
might have other needs.

Hmm ... I might have been imprecise with the requirement.

In fact, I am not interested in all files delivered from a given module. I am
interested in all files of a certain type which have been built in a certain
module.

Those two might be different, imagine executables built in the workben folder
of a module, which are not delivered, but nonetheless interesting for forther
automated processing (like copying into the OOo installation, to be able to be
ran).

So, in fact the output produced to workdir/* is interesting, not necessarily the
files later on copied to $SOLVER.

I really have no opinion whether the paths should be absolute or relative -
since the audience of this feature is mainly scripts, it doesn't really matter,
I suppose.

As for the example output: This looks to me as if you really include the
deliverables only. Is this true? Or is it that everything built will
automatically be delivered? Please remember an interesting use case are targets
which are currently built, but not delivered to solver.
