I would be happy to test as you request, but this will only be possible when the version is ready! :=) - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. The documents that cause the crashes are mostly those produced by merging data from an ODB database to a Write (ODT) file. I have repeatedly sent automated failure reports, but never received any e-mail (or other) confirmation. After having clicked the OK button informing me that the document will be saved for later restoration, Open Office re-starts automatically, but stops in a form of limbo mode, where no window opens. I need to force the application to quit, and then re-start the application all over again. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. The Writer file must be connected to the database created by the Calc document. The crash usually happens when I extract fields from the Calc document -sheet called contacts (the people I want to send the letter to), using the filter function, with results copied into the extract sheet. I then open the Writer file (that contains fields from the Calc document) and attempt to have the document printed as a fusion from the data contained in the extract sheet, with the results dumped into a single file (not printed directly). The crash happens either during the generation of the fused document, or once I have worked on this fused document, when converting the file into PDF format, using the OpenOffice function of the File menu. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. I merge Writer documents with data from a Calc spreadsheet. I have a rather frequent (but not systematic) crash of OpenOffice 3.0, when performing this merge. An additional (and worrying) issue that the soffice.bin application refuses to quit (the OpenOffice application appears as active in the Dock, and some windows may remain open, but it is not operational), and even prevents my computer from shutting down properly. The only option that I have is to pull the power supply off to re-start the computer. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. [sc-issues] [Issue 96187] Spurious undesirable Co py sheet
To comment on the following update, log in, then open the issue: http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=96187 Issue #|96187 Summary|Spurious undesirable Copy sheet Component|Spreadsheet Version|OOO300m9 Platform|Macintosh URL| OS/Version|Mac OS X Status|UNCONFIRMED Status whiteboard| Keywords| Resolution| Issue type|DEFECT Priority|P3 Subcomponent|editing Assigned to|spreadsheet Reported by|lzib2002 --- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Thu Nov 13 15:54:20 + 2008 --- I have a document with several (8) sheets. When I edit the last sheet in the row, it gets sometimes duplicated automatically, without me doing anything for this. I realise after a while that I am editing not the sheet I intend to, but a duplicate of it, called Name of the sheet_2. It happens irregularly, but rather often, specifically when I edit the first cell in a row. This is annoying, because it causes me to edit several separate documents instead of one, with all the inconsistencies this may cause. At this stage, the only way around the issue for me has been, as soon as I realise that I am working on a duplicate of my sheet, to Undo all operations until I reach the unwanted copy sheet operation, and to start all over again. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. [sc-issues] [Issue 95799] Scrollbar stuck to top whe n in filter mode
To comment on the following update, log in, then open the issue: http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=95799 Issue #|95799 Summary|Scrollbar stuck to top when in filter mode Component|Spreadsheet Version|OOO300m9 Platform|Macintosh URL| OS/Version|Mac OS X Status|UNCONFIRMED Status whiteboard| Keywords| Resolution| Issue type|DEFECT Priority|P3 Subcomponent|viewing Assigned to|spreadsheet Reported by|lzib2002 --- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Mon Nov 3 13:30:04 + 2008 --- I use a sheet as the input for a standard filter. As long as the filter does not exist, the scroll bar works fine. As soon as I set up the standard filter on a sub-part of the sheet, the scroll bar remains stuck to the top. I can only navigate up and down using the arrow buttons, which is cumbersome, specifically in a large file such as mine. It is as if the software considered that my sheet now contains the maximum number of lines, and therefore keeps the scroll bar at the top. The situation only changes when I place the cursor at the bottom of the active part of my sheet (and of the filter zone): then the scroll bar becomes enormous and occupies the whole lateral side of the window. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. [sc-issues] [Issue 93431] Scrollbar stuck to top
To comment on the following update, log in, then open the issue: http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=93431 Issue #|93431 Summary|Scrollbar stuck to top Component|Spreadsheet Version|OOO300m3 Platform|Macintosh URL| OS/Version|Mac OS X Status|UNCONFIRMED Status whiteboard| Keywords| Resolution| Issue type|DEFECT Priority|P3 Subcomponent|ui Assigned to|spreadsheet Reported by|lzib2002 --- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Wed Sep 3 14:08:57 + 2008 --- I have a Calc file with 185 rows (mainly small text data in each cell). The range of cells is defined as a named Field, for Data sorting and filtering. My screen is divided vertically in 2 parts (upper part to keep a visibility on the heads of columns, lower part to scroll through the data). The vertical scrolling tool on the right hand side of the lower half of the window remains stuck at the top of the elevator, as if the file contained thousands of rows. If you move it by hand, by acting directly on it, it changes rows extremely fast, and bring you almost instantly at the bottom of the active data (185 rows) and beyond (rows numbered several hundreds), although the elevator remains at the very top of its column. It remains stuck at the top all the time, except when I scroll down to the bottom part of my file (rows 180-185). When I have a look at these lower rows, the behaviour suddenly changes: the scrolling tool becomes enormous, and covers the whole length of the elevator, without giving any possibility to move it up or down. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
