The problems are defiantly on my end, although I have managed to shoehorn it in
though, even with Cygwin throwing errors.

Thanks for the help.

The en-GB download page has been up for a bit now.
I hope it is OK.
I avoided posting a comment as soon as it went up, as I was hoping to get all my
obscure CVS problems sorted first; I now have Cygwin working, but not Tortoise.
I was unable to add comments to the files, as CVS kept complaining that VIM was
not installed, even though it was. I think I have a solution now though.
Please let me know if you find anything wrong.
Thanks

Whenever I try to use cvs, I am getting a /cvs: no such repository error. As
far as I know, I haven’t changed any cvs settings here. It used to work.

So :pserver:[EMAIL PROTECTED]:/cvs isn't working as my CVSROOT.

I'm not an expert at CVS, but I can't see anything wrong with the above, could
someone tell me what my CVSROOT should be?
I have no problems creating the ssh tunnel, that is established before I try
CVS.

I am using Tortoise CVS (command line CVS should be possible for me, but I find
Tortoise quicker and I dont keep having to look up switches). I use cygwin to
do the ssh tunneling

I have a feeling that I have overlooked something very oblivious.

Thanks for the help.

There is still nothing there...
There are a few langpacks at

though.

I will keep checking.

Pretty minor, but toolbar is not in the dictionary, while toolbar is used
in documentation and help.

Some may consider it more gramatically correct to use tool bar, as we use
things like icon bar, cocktail bar etc, but as toolbar is refered to in
the documentation, and has entries in many dictionaries, I feel it should be
added as a word.

Thanks

Whoops, I diddn't see the SV. I don't have access to the machine with my ssh
key on it atm. I'll fix it when I get home this evening if I can (6pm or
later GMT).

Please point me to somewhere where it can be downloaded from, as it isn't on
the main mirror network. I checked against the Tier 1 server:
http://mirrors.dotsrc.org/openoffice/.
http://mirrors.dotsrc.org/openoffice/localized/en-GB/ is empty.
I also checked oootranslation.services.openoffice.org. No install sets there
either.

Oh Sorry, I had completely forgotten to respond… even though I had done a page.

There is a currently working download page at
http://l10n.openoffice.org/download/en-GB.html. At the moment it only points
to one mirror (ftp://ftp.linux.cz/pub/localization/OpenOffice.org/devel/680/),
because this is the only one with the full install sets that I could find.

If I have made any mistakes, or missed any packages out, feel free to either
let me know, or just correct the page.
Thanks

someone could do the necessary authorization, as the documentation mentioned my

Hi again,

I was acting as a member of the qa team for this issue. I don't have any
links with the en-GB team, apart from being British myself.

I think what Stefan is suggesting is a special English download page for
British English, but what David has requested is the British English version
to be added to the current download pages at
http://download.openoffice.org/2.0.1/index.html.

It is important to point out here that British can understand American English
(and Americans can understand British English), but people choose the British
version out of preference. I.e. color -- colour. This means that a special
download page *just* for British English is not required on the grounds
of people will not be able to download as they can't understand the standard
(http://download.openoffice.org/2.0.1/index.html) download page.
However, if a special page is required by policy to get the en-GB version on
the http://download.openoffice.org/2.0.1/index.html download page, or it would
just make things easier in the long run, then this should be done.

If someone is required to maintain a special British English download page,
then I would volunteer to help maintain it, if this is the only way to get it
listed properly, although as mentioned before I am not (currently) a member of
the British English internationalisation team.

May I also make the separate suggestion that the British English version be
added to the standard mirror network, to make things easier, and at least get
it on three UK mirrors. However if this is a separate issue, then it should
be filed as such.

Thanks.

kboo, please attach to this issue an example screenshot from both linux AND
windows so we know exactly what's going on. The document in question that isn't
working would also help.

I cannot confirm without this as I don't have access at the moment to a linux
box.

Oh, and a P1 issue is:

P1 marks extremely severe problems.
Issues with this priority must be fixed immediately, and the fix must be
included in the next available build of the application.
Not fixing those issues is simply impossible.
There's rarely anything which really qualifies as P1 issue!

Please see http://www.openoffice.org/scdocs/ddIssues_EnterModify.html#priority
before filing any more issues.

I think this would classify as Functionality violates its specification so I
am dropping to a P3.

Hi, I apologise that no-one has got back to you on this one, especially as it
could be a P1.

Unfortunatly, I don't speak German, or use a Mac, but I'll try to help.
It seems unlikely that this is a problem in OOo, as it had to go through QA
before release, and if the qa team couldn't run it, it wouldn't have passed. ;)

Could you please answer the following questions so that we can try to diagnose
the problem.

- How did you manaage to install 1.1.4? The latest (stable) version listed at
the MAC OS X page is 1.1.2
- Are you by any chance trying to use NeoOffice not OpenOffice.org?
- Does the problem still occur if you uninstall old versions first?
- Does the problem still occur with version 2.x. This version is avalable from
http://porting.openoffice.org/mac/2.0.0rc3.html

Hang about, this is a P1.

To quote the documentation:

P1 marks extremely severe problems.

There's rarely anything which really qualifies as P1 issue!
---
For more info please press the Priority link next to the priority selection
list box.

Setting to P4 as this refers to an old version which has now been replaced
with 2.0.1
Changing to task.
I'm leving as confirmed as some people may want to download an older version
than is current. It also looks like there are 2.0.1 binaries at the
oootranslation link.

This seems strange.

Please provide your full operation system version, e.g. Windows XP SP2 64 bit
version and your MS office version. e.g. MS office 2003. your windows
version can be obtained by clicking StartRun, typing winver and clicking OK.
your office version can be obtained from the HelpAbout of any office program.

Also please tell us what version of OpenOffice.org you are using.

It would help if you provided reproducable steps on your machine. For
example. Power On Log on (As an administrator / limited user). Click
StartProgramsOfficeWord. This type of information will help us diagnose a
problem.

There is one thing I can think of that may help you to fix your problem. From
within a Microsoft Office product you can run HelpDetect and Repair
This should auto-fix any MS office problems you may have.

I can think of no reason why OpenOffice would conflict with MS office in any
way as it does not go near it at all. If you respond with more information
the issue may be confirmed and sent to a developer.

Dropping to P2, as if it is correct, action may need to be taken.

Just to point out that the other roadmaps are also out of date. They should be
easier to fix, 1.0.x is dead, and 1.1.x is on its last legs now. The general
OpenOffice.org Roadmap PDF, contains both the 1.1.x and 2.x code line, but
only goes up to 2004!

Changing summary to reflect non-2.x exclusivity of issue.

Reporter; I don't know what you mean by a special effect for the outline

Please provide step by step instructions to reproduce this issue in the form of:

Open a presentation
Click view outline
Click ... etc

If this is a regression I will set the regression keyword upon confirmation of
the issue.

Knocking down to a P3 for now, switching subcomponent to formating (its more
applicable than code I think), adding needmoreinfo keyword.

Thanks

This issue is probably not an issue at all, but I am checking just incase it is.

When you first run OOo after install, the licence that appears says:

Copyright 2002 Sun Microsystems, Inc.

Whild I know that copyrights are not usually a yearly thing, I am just
mentioning it incase it does need to be changed.

Thanks,

(and no, I have not got a clue who to assign this to)
