That workaround suggests copy+paste-ing the graph into a new Drawing. Instead,
you could simply move the graph in such a way it is the only object in a page
when the spreadsheet is printed and export the spreadsheet as a PDF. Once you
have the PDF, it is just a matter of copying the image using the image copying
tool of your favorite PDF reader. Alternately, if you paste it into a new
Drawing, then you can 'Export' it as an image file directly.

Having said that, these options are simply 'workarounds'. It would be nice to
have a more direct solution.

I tried it in OOo 3.2.1 in Mac OSX and it works as expected - the links work
just fine. Is the bug present in Win OOo 3.2.0 or 3.2.1?

To reproduce this issue, fire up OOo and create a New empty presentation. You
will notice that the Task Pane in the right hand side shows various slide
layouts. Go to 'View' 'Master' 'Slide Master'. When you are in the 'Slide
Master' view, the task pane switches to 'Table Design'. This change in the task
pane tab persists even after exiting the 'Slide Master' view.

I am not sure if this was a conscious decision on the part of the developers
and/or UI designers. I fail to see why, as a user, I would be interested in
having 'Table Design' options presented as I am changing the master elements on
the slide.

I am using the latest OpenOffice downloaded directly from the OOo website. Anti
aliasing works absolutely fine in the editing mode of Impress. However, the line
diagrams are not anti-aliased in the slideshow. It happens both in Ubuntu Linux
and Mac OS X Snow Leopard - both with latest OOo downloaded and installed from
the OOo website directly. However, since I did not remember this happening
earlier, I popped in my old Ubuntu live CD (Ubuntu Jaunty 9.04) and tried the
presentation using the version of OOo that came preinstalled with it (OOo 3.1
OOo310m19). Surprisingly, the screen anti aliasing works absolutely fine using
the exact same file there.

To reproduce this issue, create a chart - a bar graph for example in one sheet.
Then change the color of the axis from default grey to some other color - for
example black. Now copy the chart and paste it in another sheet of the same Calc
file. Expected behavior is see an identical copy of the chart pasted into a new
location. Observed behavior is that the axis color of chart is reverted (from
black) to the default grey color.

This happens when the chart is pasted into a new Calc file or an Impress file.
I am using OOo 3.2.0 OOO320m12 (Build:9483) downloaded from the Openoffice.org
website on Ubuntu Linux.

I came across this issue while I was trying to find if there is a way to change
the thickness of lines in a graph with multiple data series... (64822 seems to
be a related issue). As a researcher I often have to plot several data sets and
this sort of unified style settings for charts would be very welcome.

1. Insert a picture into a document. (Insert Picture From File)
2. Right click on the picture and go to 'Picture...'
3. In 'Type' tab Check Keep ratio box.
4. Resize picture by dragging along the corners of the picture.

The x:y ratio should be preserved on resizing, but it is not.
I tested it with OOo Writer, Impress and Draw. Happens with both .jpg and .tiff
files.

I am not sure if this is a bug or just a missing feature...

In Writer, I can select text at one place in a document; hold Ctrl button and
select more text elsewhere in the document. This does not work when I try to
select text from multiple places in a text box. This behavior is not just
specific to Writer. I observed identical behavior in Impress also.
