Given that many people don't read the messages on popup windows, the best choice is something that makes sense both if read alone or togheter with the text above. If we use Esci we reproduce the reason this issue has been started. Esci is ambiguous and is not clear that the file will be not saved. But the question is Do you want to save the changes? so the answer should really be Yes No and Cancel, translated in Sì, No, Annulla. So I suggest to change the English answers as first sanity goal (this way user have to thing twice... reading the question and trying to map the given answers into a yes/no/go back actions).
