This worked in OOo 3.1. = I have to tell you that I am able to use the Windows file dialog to access the test server/account you gave me without any problems. Therefore, I will close this issue as WORKSFORME. = All other problems (OOo file dialog, API) are no regressions. This never worked before. Please file an enhancement request for this. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. Again: The only way known to access your server in both OOo 3.1 and OOo 3.2 is using the Windows file dialog. OOo file dialog and Basic API will currently NOT work. But this is another issue. Got it? 0. Make sure OOo is configured to use Windows file dialog (Tools/Options/OOo/General Tabpage) 1. File/Open - enter ftp://testoo:t€s...@81.95.112.92 , press Enter = directory listing is displayed in file dialog. BTW: wy is using in basic createUnoService (com.sun.star.ucb.fpx.ContentProvider) gives me a empty object? The right place to ask this is d...@api.openoffice.org or d...@ucb.openoffice.org. This is a bug report and not a personal support line. I will also confront the server gui's with your last remark some old FTP servers which do not understand EPSV mode.=-) I have no idea what you're trying to tell me, honestly. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. I confess the more you write the more I get confused. :-( If Windows file dialog is used OOo's FTP implementation is not involved at all. Windows does all the work itself. Could you please make a screen shot of the error messages you get (for OOo dialogs in 3.1 and 3.2 and Windows dialog in 3.2) and attach it to this issue? There is nothing I can fix in OOo here, I'm afraid. If OOo file dialog does not work in both 3.1 and 3.2 I guess that it never worked. Thus, we're talking about a missing feature in OOo. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
