It's about 800 lbs with the Iron I believe. Manual is in the shop.
I moved mine myself in the back of a Dodge minivan after pulling the Iron off
of the bottom. Then just slid it onto
wheel boards to go into storage where it was set back upright.

Well, a couple years ago an E-Bay Item winner from Quebec failed to pay the
25% Brokerage fee to FedEx. FedEx sent paperwork showing that THEY were billed
the amount by non affiliated brokerage firm. The fine print in their shipping
contract allowed them to legally bill me for the amount almost 4 months later
when I no longer had legal recourse with the buyer.

 I don't think it's all FedEx's fault. There is a middle man
on the border charging a lot for simple paperwork processing or whatever they
do.

 Probably does work both ways.

I've been looking at a lot of BC rigs for the past week, and have a

it's over ;)

Question I have on the 1T is weight. I am considering getting a
moving company on this one and need a close approximate weight for
this if anyone has it somewhere.

Thanks in advance.

Well, thank God for small favors and no price increase!!! However, if one
looks carefully, they will see a green dot on each receptacle. This means
they are hospital grade and may be used where oxygen is in use. I don't
think this justifies a that kind of price but as P.T. Barnum said, "No one
ever went broke under-estimating the intelligence of the American

But why does it matter whether or not they may be used where oxygen is in

[AMRadio] Stuff for trade

2007-05-05 Thread EdwMullin
I have some broadcast tube radios that I need to get out of the house. If
you're into that sort of thing I'd rather swap for some ham gear. (cash seems
to
always get used for other stuff like bills and food, go figure)

An RCA floor model, non-funtional, all the innards are there, but the
exterior caontrols are pretty bad, knobs are broken and switches are not
working.
Also the dial glass is gone. I rescued it from an old barn, but it's sitting
in my shed waiting restoration that I will probably never get to. Probably
great for parts to restore another rig, or if you have the knobs etc you could
make it play.

A GE AM/FM record player, floor model. Works, but needs help. Plays 78 rpm
records (just 78's), recieves stronger stations on am and fm. Cabinet nees
to be refinished on the exterior, and needs some basic electrical work to be
in good shape.

A GE "portable" radio (the size of a brief case), complete and functional,
but only hears the strongest stations.

Would consider any reasonable trade offer.

It's no biggie and while I've not tried to install anything, opening the

You are mistaken. Click on WIN FONT and your font will
be instantly downloaded. Some fonts are only partial
in that they don't have lower case or punctuation or
numbers. But many if not most of them are complete.
And the ones that aren't generally cost a measly 5
bucks to get whatever is missing.

Ever tried to build a font? The time required is
significant. And it's tedious work. I don't know what
anyone would want to do it.
