I am using seek bar media controller for forward , backward , play and
pause controller .

It's works fine for small video file , when taking large size video
then it's not work smoothly.. hangs with black screen...

I am installing a apk file on Samsung galaxy, this apk file contains
facebook login sdkwhen logging with facebook  then getting error:

This page contains the following error: error on line 2 at colum 159:
EntityRef: expecting ';' Reparse document as HTML. Below is a
rendering of the page up to the first error. By the way, I have
installed the latest upgrade and I'm using a Samsung Galaxy.


When installing this apk on LG devices then no error occurs with
facebook.

Why i am getting this error only with Samsung Galaxy android phone.

So I have this method in one of my Android Activities:

i want to assign a task for copy a file to receiver class. how to
handle that cases in android.receiver  class is able to generate
message but not copying the file . how to handle that cases.

I want to create a app,  i am  creating naveen folder in sdcard , i
want  when user attached with USB cable and dragging file in Root
sdcard then that moment i want to read device is connected with usb .
means i want to create a service in app that look for usb attachment
check , if attached and drag a file in sdcard then auto move in /
sdcard/naveen  .

How to handle usb is connected or not android code

I am facing a different type of issue, i have a layout which
contains   One expandableListview and another Listview , i have
designed this layout using framelayout now all click events works for
expandable and listview but expandablechild and list child click
events not working trying to find the issue but here each entry is
fine on layout only click event on listchild and expandable child is
not working...

Please check what i am missing

application throgh task manager. Their i will change font style, and

facing some issues. Audio is running but video not appear on surface
view.

C++ video view library is not getting two values  sws_format_name(c-
srcFormat), sws_format_name(c-dstFormat) so error.

NOTE:Here unavailability of c-dstFormat this value it's not going
switch statement for accelerate the video.For more information review

I managed to compile the debug Branch and I could play videos, but I
get no video - only audio is working.

The libraries are loaded and also no other errors in LogCat, except
AV_LOG_WARNING: No accelerated colorspace conversion found from %s to
%s, but I think that's ok.

In case of XCODE by using mediaplayer they able to play any type of
large video.

Android also supports mediaplayer api for media file.

Here i am only listening the voice i am not able to place view on
surface holder.

is possible to see video using mediaplayer in android framework.

Please someone reply me clearly.

if not solution then kindly help me for to divide the 1gb file in
300MB.

I am having 4 static Geopoints, I am able to mark them on the Map and also i
am able to draw line between them.

Now i am trying to animate the line while drawing between 2 Geopoints, i
just want to show them some kind of animation while drawing line .. is it

Hello All,


I am having 4 static Geopoints, I am able to mark them on the Map and
also i am able to draw line between them.

Now i am trying to animate the line while drawing between 2 Geopoints,
i just want to show them some kind of animation while drawing line ..
is it possible to do ?? or i can call some delay function ??

i have done a code for gesture color change.
 GestureOverlayView overlay = (GestureOverlayView)
findViewById(R.id.gestures_overlay);
overlay.setGestureColor(Color.BLACK);

but it works after config change means change after orientaion,
initially shows yellow  .

[android-developers] Hello World doesn't work

Hey folks,

Couple of days back, I read some articles about Android and from that
moment I fell in love with Android development :) I explored
Developing Android apps for the past few days and done the
following,

* Installed the latest Android SDK i.e., 2.2 version. Also updated all
the installed packages using SDK manager

* Installed Eclipse IDE for Java EE developers

* Installed Android plugin for Eclipse

* Created AVD and selected the target platform as Android SDK 2.2

* Written a new HelloWorld program with the below code,

import android.os.Bundle;

public class HelloAndroid extends Activity {

When I try to run the code Hello World is not printed in the
emulator. Just the text Android blinks in the middle of the device/
emulator.

The following is printed in the console when I ran the code

[android-developers] How to split Picture captured from webview into multiple images?

I have a webview and I capture the view like this

Picture picture = m_browser.capturePicture();
Bitmap  b = Bitmap.createBitmap( picture.getWidth(),
picture.getHeight(), Bitmap.Config.ARGB_);
Canvas c = new Canvas( b );
picture.draw( c );
FileOutputStream fos = null;

Now if the loaded web site is long, for eg. times.com then this image
is also too big.

I want to split this image in multiple images and with out reducing
the quality.

I would like to get these images in the highest quality possible.

Hi!
I need help in geting results back from intent launched from
preference screen

   // Intent preference
   DevicePref =
getPreferenceManager().createPreferenceScreen(this);

   // Show a Screen with list of Devices Discovered
   Intent i = new Intent(this,getDevice.class);
   DevicePref.setIntent(i);
   DevicePref.setTitle(Select Device);
   DevicePref.setSummary(mSelectedDevice);
   deviceOptionsCat.addPreference(DevicePref);

I want user to select device... In preference screeen I show Select
Device .. when user clicks that, another screen is launched by intent
where all devices are listed. User selects the device.

Now how do I know user selected which device? And I want to update
that in the summary.

Pls. let me know
