Hi Guys,

Need help in updating back to Official Rom.

Its regarding my Nexus 6 device, registered under Android Beta program and 
has updated to 7.0 Nougat.
Since the day i updated to beta version, Nov 5th, I havent received any 
updates.
Unsatisfied with this, Unenrolled the device from the beta program on 3rd 
week of december, yet i didnt receive update for official version.

Could some one respond if there`s a solution other than manually flashing 
the ROMs.

The Telecommunications Analyst provides advanced customer service in
support of fielded hardware, software and connectivity to the main servers.

Job duties include: The focus of this position is to coordinate with remote
communications personnel to configure network access for specific customer
applications based on a pre-determined implementation schedule.
Telephonically assist on-site personnel during the implementation. Document
all activities related to site coordination and implementation assistance
using a Windows2000, Windows XP and or Windows 2007 desktop system running
a web-based trouble ticket/change order tracking system. Research and
resolve hardware PC, router ASA firewall), software and connectivity
implementation problems by utilizing established procedures, user manuals,
accessing on-line applications, or interacting with internal and external
support groups. Perform network design within the constraints of remote
facilities, and provide third level support to the Tier 1 and Tier 2
support personnel. In the course of troubleshooting remote facility network

We are developing an application, and we want to apply installation 
security for this application.

i.e is there a way to restrict the application to be only installed from 
Play store? 

Basically we want to block this below installation mode of apk? What is the 
feasible way to do this , please let me know. 

- Copy the Apk into an external SD card

- Insert the SD card into the tablet

- Select on the copied apk from the SD card

- Select Install when prompted

- The application gets installed from the SD card

I am getting below error every time on android 6.0 only 

Non-fatal Exception: java.util.zip.ZipException: Local File Header 
signature not found; was 08074B50
   at java.util.zip.ZipFile.throwZipException(ZipFile.java:498)
   at java.util.zip.ZipFile.getInputStream(ZipFile.java:316)

Java.util.Zip we are using it for reading and writing the zip file, Please 
provide the solution or workaround for this.

[android-developers] Issue when removing the supportV4 library

My app minimum version is 10 and till now i am using the support library 
for fragments

Now i want to add the flip animation for few fragment transition So as per 
the android guide we need to use the animator for that and it has support 
from the api level 11 which is no issue for me.

but also need to use the getFragmentManager instead 
getSupportFragmentManager

So i removed the support library changed my minimum version 10 to 11 errors 
are coming

because in my app i have FragmentTabhost and getChildFragmentManager(). 
FragmentTabHost only available on support library and to set FragmentManager 
using 
the getChildFragmentManager it wont allow me to do that because it requires 
api level 17

any help appreciated. Let me know if you need more details

[android-developers] AutoCompleteTextview multi line (not dropdown but textbox)

I am using one autocomplete. I want to show this autocomplete as a 
multiline. I don't want to show dropdown as a multi line but i want to show 
textbox as a multi line.

I also use multiline attribute in .xml file but it's showing nextline key 
on keyboard and i don't want to use user to press this and go on next line.

*What happening now*

I am typing something in textbox after finishing space it's scrolling 
horizontally. and show all text in one line.

*What i want*

Suppose user typing and after finishing space of textbox then automatically 
cursor will goes on next line so user can see all text at one time without 
scrolling horizontally.

Here is my code.




I need impeoption as an actionsearch so user can press search key of 
keyboard.

Please give some reference or hint.

through the contents of that folder to show images one by one for pre set 
time period. My screen is divided into3 parts. in 1st row are 2 columns- 1>

I have this problem as well. I upgraded my GS2 (TMobile) from 4.0.3 to 
4.0.4 and now Google Voice doesn't log the actual called numbers but rather 
weird (Google Access Numbers). I hate to factory reset. Too much work. And 
neither has anyone guaranteed it will work. Is there anything else that we 
can do? Or can someone confirm if factory resetting will solve this? 
(Though I wonder how will factory resetting help if the bug is with the 
dialer apk)

[android-developers] Rotation neutral Gesture

I would like to use Gesture "V" and "^" - upside down V to do 2 different 
things but upside down V is still recognized as "V". Is there a way to tell 
Gesture library to do what I want? 

I have tried using Android's Gesture Overlay and

[android-developers] Query about file storage in android

I had an image which has been downloaded from the server and it is stored
in internal memory.Now,I want this image to be as folder to store other
downloaded files into it dynamically..

Is it possible to store the downloaded files into image?

can we use an image as folder ?

[android-developers] Storing downloaded files into local db??

I'm developing and an application that uses a sqlite database, and I'm
having trouble to store images in database, I read a lot of examples, but
not working here, can someone tell me the best way to store images in
SQLite? (and then I'll need to store movies as well..I am working on SDK-
4.04)

In the future I'll have to develop a backoffice so the company can
add/change/delete items in the db.

Can you please help me?

am using nexus device, so shouldn't be that issue. and I see it not that
frequently. bit strange but it's happening at particular time in a day, say
between 18-21IST. I know it's weird but I've observed this. rest of the
times it's as expected!!
