2009-05-26 Thread androg

I get this error with all three launch options, right-click folder in
Package Explorer, toolbar button, and File-New-Android XML File.
Nothing works for me. I am running Eclipse 3.4.2 and ADT 0.9.1 on
Debian (Lenny). What is the version number of the final release?

In the meantime you can use the wizard from:

 - right click on a project should have direct links to create a new
project or a new XML file as well.

If you don't see these (especially the last one), reset your java

[android-developers] Re: SDK 1.5, Unable to load XML wizard

2009-05-25 Thread Matt

Hi there. I've got the same issue. The only way I can make new xml
files is by copying existing files. This actually works fine, but I
assume we want the wizard to work.

My eclipse version is

Version: 3.4.2
Build id: M20090211-1700

I had to download the plug-in from the non-secure server, and the
plugin version is

0.9.1v200905011822-1621

My configuration details are here:
http://pastebin.com/m79fddaa3

Thanks for the support.

I'm having similar issues. I'm going to try and un-install then re-

something wrong with the wizard:

[android-developers] Re: SDK 1.5, Unable to load XML wizard

2009-04-20 Thread iceberg

Hello.

It is little strange. My version is the same as you:
Version: 3.4.2
Build id: M20090211-1700

Now after uninstallation old packages, editor works, but wizard still
doesnt work.

What I did:

I removed editor, then removed also ADT 0.8. Then installed 0.9
version. But I have the same class error like in prior posts.

Maybe good solution will be prepare bundle version - eclipse + adt,
something like PDT All-In-One ? It is possible ?

On 17 Kwi, 01:56, Raphael r...@android.com wrote:
Outch, class not found on the wizard. I have  3.4.2 Build id:
M20090211-1700 running on x86/win32 with no issue, so that's quite
 odd.

Would it be possible for you to try to remove ADT and reinstall it?
The steps of 3.4 are as follow (for 3.3 the UI was a bit different):
 - Help Software Updates
 - Installed Software tab
 - select Android DDMS, Android Development Tools and Android Editors
(tell me if it's there or not) and then click Uninstall on the right.
Let it compute dependencies, then Finish.
 - Restart eclipse if you're asked for it.
 - Reopen the panel, switch to the Available Software tab
 - Check the line jar:file:C:\somepath\ADT-0.9_pre.zip!/
 - Click Install
 - Restart when requested to do so.

Let us know if that helps or not.

I dont know why my previous post didnt appear. I have the same build
as Raphael, but wizards dont work for me.

Maybe good possibility is to release bundled Eclipse+ADT version. What
do you think about this ?

There might be some confusion in what should appear in the list:

ADT 0.8 has 2 features (that will show up in Eclipse): ADT and Editors.
ADT 0.9 has 2 features: DDMS and ADT.

You need to uninstall Editors from 0.8 when upgrading to 0.9

[android-developers] Re: SDK 1.5, Unable to load XML wizard

2009-04-16 Thread Raphael
