Re: [Angstrom-devel] QemuArm version of Angstrom stable (SOLVED)

2008-01-11 Thread Fernando de Francisco
Finally, I've found how to avoid the crashing of GPE

File /etc/matchbox/session

Change line:
-e exec matchbox-window-manager -use_cursor yes $@
to this one:
exec matchbox-window-manager -use_cursor yes $@

and will work.

I've not found what this '-e' does. If I'm wrong, please let me know

Fernando

No, you're not wrong, you're just using Ubuntu :)

It seems 'echo -e' doesn't work with dash so the build of
gpe-session-scripts creates a wrong session file. See
http://lists.linuxtogo.org/pipermail/openembedded-commits/2008-January/011423.html
for a fix.

Thanks for making the lightbulb go on in my head :)

Hi Richard,
Not sure if this is relevant but collie still requires 2.6.21 for SD
support
(Thomas just needs time and resources to port the driver forward to 2.6.23 I
think), so keeping 2.6.21 in stable I think would be good, but I agree -
dropping all the older ones from dev might be a good way to keep focus on
staying current. Or should dev continue to have 2.6.21 until collie-SD works
on 23?

[Angstrom-devel] Opie Machines

2008-01-11 Thread Ian Bonham
I've just had a quick look at the patch file, and I am guessing Spitz will
not be a machine included in the Opie image builds, is this correct?
I was hoping to get Opie in test on my machine, but am having a break from
BitBake et all at the moment, as getting a working environment I could build
something usable on proved beyond me.
Are there any plans to incorporate Spitz anytime soon?

Thanks,

plans to work on that soon, .dev can be skipped. Otherwise, it still
