Mani to do a Hindi film! By Moviebuzz Sunday, 25 December , 2005, 19:30 Mani Ratnam has been keeping a low profile throughout the year and hardly stirring out of his Alwarpet residence in Chennai. Now the big news is that he has signed Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai to do a Hindi film! Remember that Aishwarya Rai had made her screen debut with Mani sir's Iruvar and Abhishek Bachchan had done Yuva with him. In fact Abhishek is said to have struck a great rapport with him and was one of the few invitees for his 50th birthday early this year. Mani is a big brand in Bollywood and he is not keen to do another Tamil film especially at a time when the industry is superstar driven. This new Hindi project will start sometime in January and is said to be a matured love story which would be shot in Mumbai to give it the Bollywood feel. [arr] New Trailor of RDB in Bluffmaster movie !!!!
Rahmaniacs, They showed a new trailor of Rang De Basanti in the intermission period of Bluffmaster which made the whole crowd go bonkers. People stopped waiting for Bluffmaster, but instead started raving about RDB. Musicwise they put Roobaroo song and RDB title track. It was relatively a big trailor compared to the ones which we see on the websites, more of a serious trailor. Guyz this movie would be a blaster i feel. They show all happy friends, then aamir as usual showing his awesome dance steps to the london girl, then funny scene of he introducing her to his mom which made whole crowd burst to laughter. Then came the awesome scene, when ARR sings roobaroo roshini, aamir khan falls from a huge dam or mountain in slow motion. That was a fantastic scene. There were some riots shown and also a mass rally in New Delhi with blood in their shirts. And also there were some heart touching dialogues throughout the trailor. I was really experiencing a high state of love. I really wonder how could just a song gives such an amazing experience. That is Rahman. The beauty of song is that it is ornamented with pain of parting.. the music is straight from the heart.. madhushree's voice is perfect suit for the song. The Tabla in this track is just awesome. And it is different from the previous version which was released in the internet. This song is really making me obsessed! pure love, pure music. The other tracks are too good too. Michael Danna's background music is also really awesome. Especially, House of Widows, Kaalu, the Sanskrit verses in Funeral, Churiya is gone.. all the tracks the sound quality is also amazing.. you can feel it as if the tracks are actually been played in your head!! House of Widows - at 0:47, you can hear the santoor being played as if a pearl is dropping in to a goblet.. so pure. it is an expeirence!! really. I hope they will release the album in India with bangri marori.
