Hii  I m very much here...unlike b4, Itime is a big problem. I m busy with  my hectic schedules n stuff. I wud love to write reviews but provided I  devote quality time n do justice. I dun want to write in haste. I was  blown by Water...in future i'll review this album atleast coz its has  lots of classical techincalities which need to be conveyed to a layman.  Its a brilliant effort by ARR to revive Folk n classical melodies of  India. Saw RDB...rockin film!BGM rocks...  Thanx 4 making me realise...i need to post more often! The sentimental "Jiya dhadak dhadak jaaye" from "Kalyug" displaces the rap song from "Bluffmaster" as number one in the Hindi charts, which also sees tracks like "Aapki kashish", "Salaam namaste" and "Ishq hai jhootha" making it to the top 10.
The top 10 Hindi songs are:
1. "Jiya dhadak dhadak jaaye" - Film: "Kalyug"; Singer: Rahat Fateh Ali Khan; Music: Faisal Rafi, Rohail Hyat. Music buffs have hugely appreciated this song, so reminiscent of the soft, romantic numbers of the late 1960s and early 1970s. It has consolidated its position on the charts by moving on to number one position this week.
2. "Right here right now" - Film: "Bluffmaster"; Singers: Abhishek Bachchan and Sunidhi Chauhan; Music: Vishal-Shekhar. The hugely popular rap song, which remained on the top for more than a month, has been pushed a notch lower.
3. "Jhalak dikhla ja" - Film: "Aksar"; Singer: Himesh Reshammiya; Music: Himesh Reshammiya. Music composer-cum-singer Himesh Reshammiya is the flavour of the season - music lovers are enjoying his songs, particularly this one, which is getting increasingly popular. 4. "Zinda hoon main" - Film Zinda; Singer: Shibani Kashyap; Music: Shibani Kashyap - The song, which was ousted last week by another track from the same film, is back on the chartbusters.
5. "Halla re" - Film: "Neal 'N' Nikki"; Singers: Shweta Pandit, Salim Merchant, Irshad Kamil; Music: Salim-Sulaiman. This puppy love story received a lot of flak for Tanisha Mukherji's skin show, but its music has done well. This highly energetic number is rapidly moving up the charts.
6. "Aapki kashish" - Film: "Aashiq Banaya Aapne"; Singer: Himesh Reshammiya; Music: Himesh Reshammiya. Crooned by Reshammiya, the track is the new entrant on the list.
7 "Salaam namaste" - Film: "Salaam Namaste"; Singers: Kunal Ganjawala, Vasundhara Das; Music: Vishal-Shekar. The title song was an instant hit last year and returns to the charts once again.
8. "Rang de basanti" - Film: "Rang De Basanti"; Singer: Daler Mehndi; Music: A.R. Rehman. The film is doing well at box office, but this patriotic track by Rahman for Rakyesh Omprakash Mehra's "Rang De Basanti" is fading out and has slid to number eight.
9. "Ada" - Film: "Garam Masala"; Singer: Sonu Nigam; Music: Pritam. This track with its melodious tune is losing its hold and has dropped to number nine.
10 "Ihsq hai jhootha" - Film: "Ek Khiladi Ek Haseena"; Singers: Sunidhi Chauhan, Kunal Ganjawala; Music: Sunidhi Chauhan, Kunal Ganjawala. Another new entry on the music chart. Hello frnds 

Himesh Reshmiya is really a nice person other than being a good 
composer.

he has just won our hearts by prasing ARR.
i think this happend b,coz he was quiet closely related to ARR 
during the Super Singer show where they both with Adnan Sami judged 
it. and there i think ARR bolwed over Himesh by his humbelness.

Himesh Reshmiya has also said that he would not sing for any music 
director except ARR this is something really gr8 and very inspiring.

one thing that i also like to point out is that in the Sa Re Ga Ma 
show during the judges choice round all the 3 judges (Adesh, Ismile 
and Himesh) gave the contestants ARR,s songs.

this is a really gr8 news and still suprises me that there are 
people like Himesh Reshmiya who even in their peak of their carrer 
praise others who are capable.

Lord of the Rings fans across the world, but it might prove to be an even more important day for Toronto, and Canada's theatrical community at large. After more than four years of planning and work, and at an estimated cost of around $27 million, Mirvish Productions will be debuting
The Lord of the Rings stage production on Saturday at the Princess of Wales Theatre here in Toronto. All that remains to be seen if it will become the hit that everyone is expecting. Starring Canadian Brent Carver
as Gandalf, and backed up with 55 other cast members, the 3-hour show could be a huge boost for Toronto's tourist industry over the coming year. Based on J.R.R. Tolkien's famous books of the same name, the story follows the tale of a courageous group of Hobbits, led by Samwise Gamgee and Frodo Baggins, who become ensnarled in an epic battle against the great evil of Sauron and his minions.
Dubbed Canada's largest foray into the lavish world of stage shows, the world premiere of The Lord of the Rings was actually delayed by two days due to some technical issues earlier in the week. That's hardly an issue though with the official premier of the show still over a month away (slated for an invitation only performance on March 23). Producer
Kevin Wallace was also very positive about the amazing work that's been going on behind the scenes for the last year since Toronto was announced as the inaugural host for the production, including some of the creative work that was done to bring creatures like the Ents and the Ring Wraiths to life on stage.

Made popular most recently by the Academy Award winning work of Peter Jackson, this could also be perfect timing for the production to attract even more attention than it ever would have earned before. Fans have also been reassured that the show will feature music that suites the mood of the stories, which means there won't actually be any singing, dancing Hobbits headed to Mordor. The stage, proscenium and walls of The Princess of Wales Theatre in Toronto have been taken over by the most unusual flora you may ever see growing indoors: A massive tree trunk and its twisting roots.
This earthbound yet expansive image, designed by Rob Howell, gives the world premiere theatrical epic, The Lord of the Rings its focus. Just as in the titular fantasy-novel trilogy by J.R.R. Tolkien, a natural world — be it forest, shire, mountain, swamp or volcano — becomes a playing area for characters who are magnetically pulled toward good and/or evil.
The $27 million (Canadian) production won't include members of the cast of 55 rushing out into the auditorium during what's expected to be 3-1/2 hours of action, but the scenic elements will spill out over the proscenium and onto the ceiling of the theatre.
"It creeps out, this root system," producer Kevin Wallace told Playbill.com in the days leading up to the Feb. 4 first preview, "over the boxes of theatre and out toward the circle and second balcony. That is the environment within which the story is told".
Lighting designer Paul Pyant is lighting it out to the extremities of that environment, as well, Wallace said.
"The focus of the story is in this fabulous 45-foot diameter, huge tree trunk, which is the conceit of the stage design, and which has within it, the revolves and the lifts which take us from one location to another," Wallace explained.
There wasn't a major tearing-out of rows of the Princess of Wales' 2,000 seats to accommodate the action, Wallace said, although Rick Fox, the conductor of the 18-musician orchestra, will lead the band from what used to be row AA.
While The Lord of the Rings, directed and co-adapted by Matthew Warchus, is billed as an epic theatrical event with spectacular visual elements, producer Wallace said there is something paramount to the visuals of the experience: the clarity of the storytelling.
"The reassuring point right now is that the story is ringing true and clear and that the arcs of the acts are beautiful," Wallace said. "We feel that we've got the arcs of the acts right…"
The "arcs" are not to be confused with the orcs — or the elves, men, dwarfs, hobbits, wizards and undead who populate the plot-heavy three parts of the Rings fantasy epic (the three parts of the novel are "The Fellowship of the Ring," "The Two Towers" and "The Return of the King").
The précis of the tale is this: Great evil is taking over the world (called Middle Earth) and an innocent, child-size hobbit named Frodo can eliminate the evil by destroying its talisman — an ancient, cursed ring — by tossing it into a faraway volcano. Sounds easy, no? The path, of course, is fraught with obstacles — an evil wizard, a spider, a gorge or two.
FAITHFUL TO THE BOOKS
Do the three acts of the stage version coincide with the books in the same way the three recent films followed the novels?
"They don't, strictly speaking, no," Wallace said. "The first act does culminate in the battle between the Balrog and Gandalf the Grey. And the second act finishes with Paths of the Dead."
Fans of the Tolkien epic who were disappointed with the films' excision of the chapter that includes the destruction of the shire by men will be pleased to know the furry-footed creatures Frodo, Sam, Pip and Merry do indeed lead a hobbit uprising against those who took over their world.
"We're true to the books, we do go back to the shire with Frodo and the hobbits," Wallace said. "The third act naturally culminates with Frodo's departure, [but] we deal with the fact that Sharkey has destroyed the natural beauty of the shire…and that men and Sharkey have imposed their rule on the shire. We deal with the hobbits' uprising and with them regaining control of the shire."
The character of nature lover Tom Bombadil, also axed in the recent films, is referenced (but is not seen) in the stage version.
"He gets an honorable mention in the show," Wallace said. "He has a wonderful reference from Treebeard, as Treebeard is saying farewell to the hobbits. That's the sort of touch we wanted in terms of our sensitivity to the story."
Wallace added, "There are little touches like that, I think the Tolkien fan will appreciate and they don't distract in terms of the core of the story for those people who don't understand the weight of the mention…"
Wallace said he's been "quietly confident" about the intelligence, clarity and faithfulness of Shaun McKenna and Matthew Warchus' adaptation since an April 2005 London workshop, attended by editors from the late Tolkien's publisher, HarperCollins

"We invited, among others, the two chief editors — Chris Smith being one of the eminent editors," Wallace said. "At the reception afterwards, he came up and said to me, 'It's a great adaptation.'

Following the good opening for Ajith's Paramasivan, all efforts are being taken to get his long-pending Godfather to theatres at the earliest.
Directed by K S Ravikumar, the movie stars Ajith in three different roles and features Asin opposite Ajith. A R Rehman has composed the music.
The highlight of the movie is that four cinematographers have worked in this film. According to the director they have purposely roped in to give a different feel for the audience.
P C Sreeram, Vijay Milton, Priyan and debutant Chakravarthy have worked in the movie.
While songs were canned by one cinematographer, the other had shot flashback sequences, another the stunt sequences and the rest by another.
It is an innovative idea, which we hope would be reach out to the masses, says the director.
Ajith is hoping to cash in on the momentum that his career has got now
