hai, Thotal poomalrum is not remix its just a recomposition ARR met MSV after the audio release of New and MSV huged ARR and told that ARR had done a great job by remixing old song, at that juncture ARR clarified that its not Remix, its recomposition since old song have no similarity with new song in tune. This is silly. Remixes are really important to introduce the old songs to the younger generation. Younger generation is not interested in old songs. There are great old songs. But youngsters are not exposed to old songs. Because you can't search the old hits and the recording was poor in quality. So they don't take any interest in those songs. But remixes can introduce those songs to youngsters as well as it gives rebirth to that particular song. Even elderely people like remix. Have been listening to this song for the past few days. The melody is quite simple and with a catchy rhythm, it stays in your head. But, the brilliance of this song lies in the extraordinary harmonic accompaniments, especially the vocal sections. Vocal layerings are out of this world. During the rap section, the female vocal harmonic accompaniment is just beautiful with an Indian classical melody and soft vocal tones. And finally, the chord progressions in the song are ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT. It's the chordal progressions which add those special surprise elements throughout the song, as if on a journey with breathtaking twists and turns. Rahman using a lot of minor 6th and 7th triadic variations which add an immense richness to the harmony. Especially take note the ending, when Rahman starts singins Round and round. The chords in that section are mindblowing. I tried playing that on my keyboard and they are tough to follow, but I eventually figured them out with a lot of effort and time.

I think the iPod only plays tracks encoded with Apple's ironically named FairPlay DRM. So, the only way for you to get this protected WMA file to play on your iPod is to hack it and convert it to an unprotected mp3 and then copy it to your iPod via iTunes. HAI, Dharbha,most of the srilankan part ( expect beach scenes )are shot at Palakkad Dist, Kerala. I was doing my final year at college then at coimbatotre and my native is palakkad.The war secnes ( song vidai kodu vidai kodu maname) was shot at cath ment area of malampuzha dam in 12 km from palakkad town. ARR's voice is exquisite.. female harmony and blaaze's cameo is wonderful. the trance of the song is the highlight! Are you searching for a reason to be kind! wow! how fantastic is it.. excellent orchestration. soothing beats, nice use of guitar and electric ones. ARR's power and voice modulation is just perfect. the ayeyeyo bit by ARR is melting.. tabla with female voice at the end is just out of the world..only ARR can think like this.. what more could you expect from the musical genius.. hail ARR.. as far the checkout process is concerned.. it is pretty straight forward. just have a valid credit card and you are done. Guru proves a point IndiaGlitz [Tuesday, January 23, 2007] Mani Rathnam has lived up to his reputation of being touted as the country's best director. His Guru, starring Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai, has managed to collect huge revenue and also has won the director greater accolades. The Hindi version of Guru opened worldwide last week and has been collecting huge revenue wherever it was screened. Mani Rathnam, considered the master of mixing commercial and mass cinema, is now going places. The director was reportedly approached by a couple of Hollywood production houses to do a film for them, but he meekly rejected those offers. Guru, loosely based on the life of business tycoon Dhirubhai Ambani, is expected to win several awards for Mani Rathnam and his team. Abhishek's excellent performance, Rahman's catchy musical score and Rajeev Menons cinematography have been winning appreciations.
