Thank you very much for ur wishes...hope ur words comes true...m also sincerely hoping to meet the Godfather of music-ARR as it will be a like a lifetime achievement for me i have really work hard for this competitionit took me almost 15 days to compose these 2 tracks..Infact i wanted to do some more experiment like i actually visualized that time to use the Sunidhi Chauhan's High pitch(1 octave higher) in the song but practically i couldn't able to do it. and you can see that in the original song. But for my western version, i transposed it to one semitone higher to lift the track with some extra percussion. Neways, i completely enjoyed composing the stuff. Basically i have used the following softwares: 1. Cakewalk's SONAR 2. Propellerhead's REASON 3. Adobe's AUDITION 4. Again a baseless and preposterous statement. The song infact I felt is on the same lines as of the song DUS composed by Sandeep Chowta. How can he/she compare Rahman's vocals in Luka Chuppi or Khalbali or Roobaroo to a song which doesn't even sound great to listen repeatedly? I think yoiu are reading into the review so much. I personally really like the music of Aryan. No, I wouldn't compare the song Rab Ne Mere or the vocals of Teri Te Mein to Rahman. Yes, I love Rahman obviously. But I don't think RDB's music was that good compared to some of Rahman's other great soundtracks. I personally think Meenaxi is ARGUABLY his best soundtrack ever. And unfortunately, that along with Bose, were gone sadly unnoticed. Everyone can have their own opinions, and I respect yours. I know many people who find Rahman repetitive among other things. I personally think you have to have a special ear for Rahman, as his music is NOT commercial by any means. You must be able to understand Rahman is coming from while listening his music. If you're just turning something on to get a quick pick me up or plain melody..then yes, Rahman is not for you. You favor N-S. Once again, i respect your opinions. BUt I personally find Nadeem-Shravan to be two of the WORST music directors of all time. Apart from plagiarizing nearly every one of their tunes, they're bland...and FINALLY have split up. Bhansali and Rahman would undoubtedly be a deadly combination. However, I feel that Bhansali made the right choice in choosing Monty to compose the entire soundtrack of Saawariya. Just look at the magic they've created in teh background scores of HDDCS, Devdas, and BLACK. For some reason, I dont' think that Rahman's sense of music and Bhansali's vision really cross paths. As I had written in a review, the chemistry between music director and film director is a very keen and distinct one. The respect that Bhansali and Monty share for one another in something special and the chemistry shows. I think Monty is mastermind musician and is very underrated. Yes, it would be wonderful to see Rahman and Bhansali hook up, but not just yet! Yes, well said. There is a MAJOR difference between simple inspirations and blatant plagiarism. Pritam, Nadeem-Shravan, Sanjeev-Darshan, Anu Malik...now these are the composers who shamelessly rip-off. But I completely agree, when I compose tunes, and listen to them after a while. Sometimes I notice a slight resembelance with other songs that have seeped into my subconscience. We must be able to decipher inspiration from plagiarism. But Pritam is one guy who really confuses the hell out of me. He has plagiarized multiple songs from EVERY single soundtrack of his. The guy has talent, no doubt...but why does he feel forced to take songs from all over the world. He's taking the dark road that N-S and Anu Malik have already shamelessly travelled. I would consider such songs as a compliment to Rehman's song rather than take out my knife and rip apart the composers. With all due respect composing music is the most precious talent which only few people are gifted with. So lets not drag down other composers just to prove our point. On the flip side, we also have some composers who copy songs note by note. You cannot do much about them. Just stop buying their music. Here is some food for thought The tram sequence bgm from yuva which goes as anjaana anjaani sounds like the spiderman theme song. You know the one that used to play in the cartoons.
