Namakame is about the best song I have heard from ARR in such a long time now. 
The raagam seems to be Anandha Bhairavi (dont bash me if i am wrong). Remember 
the Premier ad from ARR from 20 years back...same scale I think. 
ARR is the only one to compose such wonderful carnatic music based songs. 
Innisai alapedai from Varalaaru and the recent Omana penne nadhasvaram ending 
from VTV belong to this class of music from ARR.

Other than these rare offerings from him, his songs have gone down the drain 
for quite a long time now.

With respect to the contradictory taste in this thread, it's obvious choice 
between extreme classy carnatic stuff versus very ordinary stuff. If someone 
finds Anandha Bhairavi or a Hindolam "DRAGGY", is it the problem with the scale 
or with the perceiver ? :-)

So so sad that fans like AJ and me loving songs like Namakame need to wait for 
years to get a golden songs like these from ARR.

PLEAD TO ARR - there is no one else who can compose this breed of music. Please 
pay more attention to fans like us. Your music from your Jingle days and the 
90s were purely around the carnatic expertise in you...why dont you come back 
to this realm???

since my childhood i have been addicted to music and also have heard variety of 
it but since when i came across with Sir A R Rahman Great Music my life changed 
completely.
I have collected infinite articles and pictures of RahmanSir, and also got an 
hobby of collecting articles on different topics beside music like science, 
history, general knowledge, etc. I always had a dream and an ambition to create 
something different I my life which can become an excellent source to 
distribute knowledge to people.
And so I finally got an opportunity to make my dream come true, by setting up a 
A R Rahman Library and Gallery in the prime location of Vasai(East)at Rashmi 
Residency by Mr. Yogesh Bosmiya.Director of Ghar Ho To Aisa .
With all my hard work and efforts I made this A R Rahman Library and Gallery 
Very interesting source of education for the people who have also been started 
coming from different location except Vasai(East).
The unique part of A R Rahman Library & Gallery is RahmanSir article which I 
had set at the entrance of Gallery, because I feel that the man which made me 
realize and make my dream come true should also enlight others in a similar way.

Watching ARR holding the Grammys, i got so excited yesterday that i wrote a 
poem on him with the help of the titles of few movies done by him.. I dedicate 
this poem to Rahman sir and all my beloved Rahmaniac brothers and sisters..!! 
so here's my poem with translation:


THE LEGEND OF RAHMAN

  
  
Rahman ji, Rahman ji, aap hi ho suron ke sartaaj, 
Aap hi to GODFATHER  ho humaare, 
Aap hi ho humaare YUVRAAJ. 
  
Suna humne aap hi ko sadaa, 
Bha gayi humein aap ki har ek ADA . 
BOMBAY se lekar DELHI-6 tak ghumaaya aapne, 
BLUE ko BULLU kehna sikhaaya aapne. 
  
Zindagi ki iss DAUD mein 
aap hi bane humaare SAATHIYA, 
Chal padi geeton ki aisi FIZA, 
Jiske aage na tik paaye aandhiyaan. 
  
Banke YUVA aapne sunaayi humein 
MANGAL PANDEY ki kranti ki PUKAR, 
Fir bane aap JODHA ke AKBAR

Becoming a youth you told us 
Mangal Pandey’s call for the revolution,

(it’s tough :P)

Sometimes our teacher, sometimes our star

paper publicity and also making money for sponsership on channel but in 2000 
media are making fun on Rahmansir going to west for music and that time I now 
that one day Rahman sir prove he is World Greatest Musician forever that he is 
proved . I always love Rahman from Roja to passage . He Really Greatest 
Musician for all time . therefore sir is upset by media , I am come from mumbai

I always love the tamilian in my heart , but I can not meet Rahmansir that is

i don't think it is shame on our mastero because movie main theme is music 
which means the relation can bond with music and more over you can't expect 
every song to be a relation bond song and more if you the listen the songs 
separately there are awesome 

if you say the movie is to be totally music one then each and every dialogue 
should be also in music even though i did not watch the movie but i can expect 
that movie would be a good one and experimental i feel

Masand's Verdict: Yuvvraaj doesn't hit the right note
The dialogue is a mix of clunky lines that make you cringe in embarrassment, 
and a bunch of unintentionally hilarious gems that will make you laugh every 
time you think of the film. Like that priceless scene in which Katrina scolds 
Salman for being an insensitive son to his father: Jo bete ne apne baap ki 
shakal sapne mein bhi na dekhi ho, woh beta nahin, woh hardcore anti-family man 
hai.There was a slim chance the film might not have hurt this bad if the acting 
was any better, but to think the stars of this film were paid crores of rupees 
to put up this show makes you realise that indeed life is unfair. Salman Khan 
does pretty much as he pleases, walking in and out of scenes as if he were at 
home, never mindful of the fact that he's playing a character here and that 
some consistency in performance is expected of him. He just about scrapes 
through the comedy with a few light moments, but completely fails to touch your 
heart in the film's emotional
 scenes.Zayed Khan struggles through even basic scenes in the film, unable to 
alter his expressions in keeping with the film's needs, yelling when he's 
expected to be intense, and looking away in exasperation each time he can't 
come up with a more fitting reaction. A crash course in acting at Ghai's own 
Whistling Woods Film School might not be such a bad idea for Zayed.Katrina Kaif 
looks lovely and makes an earnest attempt in the acting department too -- in a 
film like this, that's plenty effort. Boman Irani hams it up as Katrina's 
doctor dad, and turns in what is sure to be one of his career's most 
embarrassing performances.And then there's Anil Kapoor whose character I had 
difficulty understanding - was he autistic, was he blind, did he have 
arthritis? I never did get it in the end because of the strange mannerisms and 
quirks Anil brought to his performance. And yet, it's the only performance in 
the film where some competence is visible.Ghai spares no
 efforts in giving Yuvvraaj a fancy feel, there's pleasing photography and 
spunky choreography on display, but AR Rahman's soundtrack throws up only three 
good tracks which is a shame considering the film's designed as a 
musical.Yuvvraaj doesn't quite hit the right note because it's an archaic drama 
that feels too tired. Barring a handful of vintage Subhash Ghai moments that 
still work, the film sadly is far from his best work.I'm going with one out of 
five for director Subhash Ghai's Yuvvraaj, I'd much rather 
watch Hero or Karmaall over again.

 If sources are to be believed, the fate of Jodhaa Akbar featuring Hrithik 
Roshan and Aishwarya
 Rai is in a state of limbo. The film is suffering further delays and will not 
release on
 January 25, 2008, as declared by the director Ashutosh Gowarikar and producer 
UTV Motion
 Pictures.
 
 This isn't the first time that the film's release has been delayed after the 
filmmakers failed
 to meet their initial release date of October 12, 2007. In circles where it 
really matters, the
 buzz is that the film is far from ready.
 
 The editing is taking too long and the makers are apprehensive about the 
length of the film. A
 reliable source says, "Ashutosh is having a hard time cutting the film's 
length to three hours.
 He has too many scenes and shots to handle."
 
 Gowarikar, however, has been unable to supervise the editing and other post 
production work for
 a while because of ill-health. The filmmaker has been suffering from back 
problems and is
 forced to stay indoors. A source from Ashutosh Gowarikar Productions Pvt Ltd 
(AGPPL) says,
 "Ashutosh has been unwell for a while and advised complete bed rest. We are 
yet to do the
 colour correction of the film."
 
 The background score is not complete either. Gowarikar, who takes keen 
interest in the music,
 could not make it to the recording studios recently. Even the music launch of 
the film has been
 postponed to January 2008, as the music rights of the film has changed hands 
from BIG music to
 UTV's newly launched record label.
 
 Previously, the actors Hrithik and Aishwarya had taken too much time to 
complete the dubbing.
 In fact, Gowarikar was so anxious that he even rushed to Hyderabad where Ash 
was shooting for
 other films and urged her to dub for the film at a local studio.
 
 A source says, "Aishwarya was filming for Sarkar Raj and Pink Panther 2, which 
left her with
 barely any time to dub for Jodhaa Akbar. This prompted Ashutosh to head to 
Hyderabad where Ash
 was shooting for Sarkar Raj."
 
 Ashutosh Gowarikar
 UTV Motion Pictures had a high-profile meeting last week to determine the 
final release date.
 Apparently, they are considering February 15, but sources indicate that the 
film's release may
 get postponed to March. When quizzed about it, Siddharth Roy Kapoor, COO of 
UTV says, "I cannot
 comment on anything right now. Please wait for the official announcement."
 
 Meanwhile, Hrithik Roshan has cut short the ongoing treatment of his knee 
injury in Singapore,
 and come back to the city to promote the film. Hrithik is taking active 
interest in the
 promotion and publicity materials of the film.
 
 He has expressed a keen desire to be a part of all the meetings to decide on 
the publicity of
 the film with the director and producer. The actor is equally upset over the 
delay and is
 taking personal interest in the post production work as well.

Message" dubbed in Hindi.. The song is "Marhaba" (not the JA song)..
"Ae habib-e-khuda, ahmed-e-mustafa, salallaho alaihi wasallam"..
The song is sung and arranged by A R.. I think this is what the news
is about..

When i heard Khoon chala song which is sung by mohit
chauhan. The whole song have sung by mohit chauhan but
there is speciality of BOSS at the end(2.47 - 2.51).
The last word of Khoon chala voice is of A R Rahman.

Only true A R Rahman fans can understand this
speciality.
