Gopal, I am sorry you cannot publish these kind of cheap reviews. He
doesnot even show respect to the tracks eg: for dil ka ristha, he says
skip the next track without any mention of it
There should be some authenticity to the reviews even if it is negative!!!

Rightly said Abdul

I cannot tolerate anything against Rahman now, especially against
YUVVRAAJ. So Gopal/Vijay Iyer, this is too much of criticsm against
Rahman, the guy is giving his life to music and these guys (so called
fans) are giving opinion as if they are PUNDITS...they do not
understand the concept of being fan of RAHMAN.

I do not mind if there are just 100 HARDCORE fans for Rahman group

Guys, moving further, I thought Mumbai was amazingly captured by

About BGM, Rahman has tweaked a lot especially on O saya and Mausam
and escape which actually sounds amazing, different from the

[arr] Enigma's new album - Just released

Listen to Mike Cretu's new album - Seven Lives Many Faces. Somewhere I
feel Rahman and Mike Cretu is converging in their musical sense, I
know its a weird thought but listen to the album to feel it.

Chill out mate, you are on about too much technical stuff and you are
simply missing the point. Moreover, hell bent on your opinion, atleast
respect what academy (a vote from musicians) had to say today.

BTW guys 3 nominations in one year is this a record for academy???

in a lot of other boards too (check FilmScoreMonthly which is perhaps
the biggie-- a number of people in the music/film industry are members
there). I've mentioned this earlier-- unlike previous awards like
BFCA, Golden Globes & BAFTA, the Oscar nominations are decided based
on votes from members in the related categories. So only the members
of the music branch in AMPAS can decide the nominations for music
categories.
>

Consideration') to AMPAS voting members in order to help them decide
their picks for best score. The promo cd for SdM score is just 17 min
long. That's why SdM is not yet a clincher for the best score. No one
can say whether SdM will make it or not. But I will not be surprised
if it doesn't.
