I thought of posting similar thoughts. Thanks for filling me in. Rahman songs give the best on headphones. Blue was superb on the headphones. VTV was superb on any speaker because the mixing was simply simple. Coming to Ravan the layering over layering can be only captured on a headphone. Swear you guys Ranjha Ranjha is the best layered mixed and produced song by him over a period. The techno riffs just travels around all over. Beats- the bass holds on. I have to mention this after listening to them on a BOSE Quiet comfort 15. Just listen to Ravan on a good headphone. If you dont have one you can invest for rahman and his tracks. Enthiran has got some out of the world mixing. So get ready. One thing u all should notice is that the way rahman gives the intro song we have 4 instances... 1.Oruvan Oruvan: sema meanin and melody 2.Ahh - I feel it had an MJR feel to it amazing. 3.Shivaji- Except the tune he went with the current trend still was fast and catchy. 4.ATM- Vijay an mass enter ll need an mass song but see wat rahman has done changed his intro seq completely thats wat happens when u experiment, this song is no masala total classy intro mass song other peers should learn this from rahman as to how to give an class intro song with full of energy. And rahman is apt for all intro i feel if an good song comes across from an other MD rahman should accept singing an intro . Hatts off.
