The release date of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek Bachhcan starrer Raavan directed by Mani Ratnam has been confirmed to June 18th. That means we can expect the music to hit the stores in early May!! (Remember, Mani's last film 'Guru' with AbhiAsh relesed on Jan 12th 2007 whereas the music was out on November 18th, 2006!) This will be ARR's 9th film with Ash! It also stars the likes of Vikram, Govinda and Priyamani! It is to be remembered that Gulzar is writing the lyrics of the high budget magnum opus! This is the most awaited Bollywood film after the year! Another huge film Endhiran starring Rajnikanth and Ash again is said to be 90% complete and is readying itself for a Diwali release(November 5th). one more info.. Singer Anupama's name should be as Anupama alone and not Anupama Deshpande.. Anupama Deshpande is from North India.. It might be a typo from the site designers.. I just liked the way they announced his name..The one and only A.R Rahmanunanimous choice of Judges... Rahman was not able to make it..but they had a small clipping of him receiving the award. ARR deserves it for sure.. we know the fact that we had only one musical album in hindi but we had two in tamil.. the fact that 'one love' done by ARR should have been definitely noted by media. similarly, KM music school will be taken into consideration by media for next year evaluation i guess. overall, when compared to other competitors ARR exceled them.. [Sivaji] Oru Koodai Sunlight, Oru Koodai Moonlight, ala the style of American rapper 50 cents, Vaa Vaa Sivaji, a peppy number by Hariharan-Sadana Sargam combination and Sahana Saaral, a trade mark Rahman melody, sung by Udit Narayanan, are the three songs for which the full length mp3 tracks have been released. March 22nd 2007, will be a Black Thursday for Shankar and his crew, who have been working day in and day out to get the movie ready for the big World wide release on April 14th. They will be mighty shocked with this news of songs leaking out online, or on the contrary, were they already prepared for this. Mp3leakage is not something new to Shankar and Rahman.Their earlier venture, Boys had met with the same fatewith songs hitting the Information Highway two daysbefore the official launch. Even in the case of Sivaji, a 40 sec clip of Oru Koodai Sunlight was doing the rounds online much before this release of the full length version. Rahman who has been raising his voice in support of royalty for musicians might be taken a back by this development. No one is sure about the source of this leakage as yet. The processing lab, someone in the maestro's team or a production crew member, anyone can be responsible for this bad doing. It would also be interesting to see if the production house, AVM files an official complaint with the Cyber Crime Police. In the meantime, expectations among Rajini and Rahman fans is at an all time high for the audio to hit the stands on April 4th. Reports from Music world, a music outlet in Chennai, suggest that there is a growing enquiry on the release of the audio and there are also requests for advance reservation on the CDs.
