[arr] Re: Shano shano my take on this great song

Jahanzeb, do you know the tragedy of being rahman fan (i don't know
for all)??? Whoever knows that you are a Rahman fan.they will rush
to you complaining that these Rahman songs are not good.

well said man, i agree with you. but unfortunately i think with a song
such as shano shano (and in an album like yuvvraaj) ARR has given
these people quite an excuse to rush us (ARR fans) and complain.

i dont think shano should be compared to these songs. only one
of the
five songs you mentioned (Rukmani rukmani) i found little odd in
the
first hearing. all the rest i loved instantly or after some time.
but
shano is the song which when i heard the first time my feelings
were
what the hell is this? and what is wrong with ARR?, and i
skipped
it in anger and disappointment. later i gave it second chance and
now
at least i dont skip it.
but we shall remember that only we, the fans of ARR, will give it
second chance, because we are his fans and because we know his
music
grow, a common man will never do it, he will simply skip it and
will
never listen it again and will only ridicule what went wrong with
ARR.
and he will be right because ARR never composed such a weak song
before and that too for such a big movie as yuvvraaj.
i will soon ask some of my non-ARR-fan friends to listen shano
shano
and will see if my prediction is correct or not.

Totally agree! Guess what? This is the first song in the album that
took me by storm. As you said, something very addictive, very
seductive - you can't help shake a leg or twitch your body to those
steps...MAN, what a song... and the rap version is astounding too!
