Well, After Aap Ka Suroor - The Movieee Himesh had stated that he will only
sing for movies starring himself. So it isnt a big surprise that he refused.

Himesh Reshammiya had once said that if he had to sing for any music director 
other than

himself, it would have to be for A R Rahman. Now, Rahman has come up with a 
composition, which

he thinks is apt for Himesh to sing.



Rahman said, “Yes, I have come up with a composition that Himesh can do justice 
to. It is an

important song for a big actor, in a huge project and for a big banner. But 
since the shooting

of this song will happen only next year, it will be wrong on my part to 
disclose too many

details about it at this time.”



• I don’t sing for any outside  banner (where I don’t act). I would instead  
request Rahman

saab to give  music for one of my films where I am the actor and singer  – 
Himesh Reshammiya



So what made Rahman choose Himesh for the song? Rahman said, “Himesh’s voice 
and the attitude

with which Himesh sings is just apt for this composition. I haven’t spoken to 
Himesh as yet but

Oh. So, I think ARR responded to his wish, but it is not coming smoothly 
now.

Well, there could be several reason for the refusal. The details are not 
known. I don't think Himesh or even Anu or even Nadeem Shravan would 
really gain anything by refusing to our man. Our man is great, even his 
competitors and detractors know that. It is a privilege to have got a 
singing invitation from our man.

So, let's up hope that there was some small issue that led to this 
refusal. I am sure it would get sorted out soon, and they would come 
together.

But it was Himesh who wanted to sing for ARR and I saw this mentioned in two
of his interviews. Now he is refusing to sing inspite of having been offered
by ARR - which is not good, IMO...

I personally am sick of Himesh's singing. I finished Karz in half the 
time by skipping all his irritating songs.

Himesh's voice only suits himself and his attitude. 
Krishna who sung Rabba song in Musafir and mein jaha rahun in namaste
London is the best alternative. 
I dont understand how to consider Himesh's statement as like positive
or negative.
