It is encouraging to see BMC recommit to one of their cornerstone products. All the reasons you put out for attending are solid. Don't take this in a negative tone, please! But the reality for some is that a junket to Florida is a hard-sell when the holidays are coming up and the last solid chunks of productive project time are winding down. I'd love to see a future virtual version of these kind of events, a series of wide-availability live virtual conferences held so that people can attend portions while still monitoring their problematic projects and/or systems back at home office. One-off webinars are good, but a conference-like concentration of events would be even better and in 2014, I'd think it would be relatively simple to coordinate and put some server/pipe resources behind. There is no substitute for the bonds and contacts made at a live event to be sure, followed by good times and knocking back a few. The reality, though, is the luxury of such travel isn't aligned with a big cross-section of the customer base but we'd still value the content being delivered. I was there at the Swan in 2001. My now-ex drug me off to the theme park half the time anyway. Enjoy the conference and know some of us are green with envy but just can't get away. ___ UNSUBSCRIBE or access ARSlist Archives at www.arslist.org Where the Answers Are, and have been for 20 years ___ UNSUBSCRIBE or access ARSlist Archives at www.arslist.org Where the Answers Are, and have been for 20 years
Re: Javascript err while searching a form : Mid-tier 7.1
Hi All, As mentioned by Jabbie, the temporary fix worked for me. Unfortunately the fix is valid til Apr2015. If Chrome version is 37, then 'showModalDialog' feature is deprecated. To re-enable this method, you need to create new registry key : 1. Open Registry editor (regedit) , go to : HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Google\Chrome 2. Under Chrome, Create new key : EnableDeprecatedWebPlatformFeatures 3. Create new string value 1 for this key 4. Enter value data ShowModalDialog_EffectiveUntil20150430 for string 1. Open chrome://policy/ url to confirm if it is loaded (click on 'reload Policy' button to refresh Regards, Saurabh -- View this message in context: http://ars-action-request-system.1.n7.nabble.com/Javascript-err-while-searching-a-form-Mid-tier-7-1-tp118926p119010.html Sent from the ARS (Action Request System) mailing list archive at Nabble.com. ___ UNSUBSCRIBE or access ARSlist Archives at www.arslist.org Where the Answers Are, and have been for 20 years

Hi, I would check the def-file and search for the deleted/added field id. Try the XML format as well, as it is easier to read. Did you add a field with the same field id as the removed one? It might confuse the import functionality that you remove/add the field in one go. Have you tried to remove the field manually before importing the def file? Re: ARERR 102
Hi, You said that you deleted a field and then added a field. Is this not true? If it is only a control field you can try to delete it manually before the import. To verify the DEF file you can try to import the form an another clean AR Server or you can rename the form in the DEF-file and import it parallel to your current form. Either in the source or the target server. Just make sure you do not have an Alias set for the form that will confuse the users, and you could also remove the form-specific permission lines in the DEF to make it invisible to non-admin users.
