Sorting in Remedy- Dynamic Sorting query?

2014-10-15 Thread Remedy Support
Hello All,

I have problem related to sorting in Remedy. I have a web service which
create request in interface form01. On that interface form01 I have a
table field which loops all the incidents and push into a interfaceform02.
And records from this form 02 are mapped as response to the web service.

With new web service call, two sort order parameters are passed sort
order1 and sort order2 ( Incident number, estimated resolved date or
Status) with flag as Assending or decending.

Now based on the information I need to sort the incidents and send back as
a response.

I can create table fields ( say 24 fields) and chose to loop based on the
request, but it is not a best solution.

I need to know how can I dynamically get the incidents from Hpd:helpdesk by
passing sorting field and flag as Accending/decending and send response to
web service.

e.g i will say give a all the incident first sorted by status- Assending
and second sorted by Incident number- decending. With the result, i pass
this information to web service response.

Thanks

I love it. Hawaiian shirts in Florida is serious.

Today is intense. No morning keynote, right into sessions at 8:00 AM, with the
SmartIT launch in 3 hours. Be sure to watch! For what it's worth, I've seen
some material which amounts to a preview of the launch, and it will be worth
getting your managers to watch!

Yes, it WAS. Sat in the front row... With a box lunch... Just behind the
audience mic, and I didn't want to munch my salad for all of you to hear. :-)

Not sure how much of the pageantry in the room was sent live to the net, but I
can vouch that the demos on the iPad were indeed on the iPad on stage, and
another person typed the responses live. The idea of being able to do the bar
code read from your iPad (finally! Someone has done this!) ranks high in my
list. After the demos there was a panel taking live questions from the
audience, they're out in the hallway still talking to some.

I got a chance to be a beta tester for future versions of SmartIT (one of the
session rooms is a testing lab). Sorry, no details to post. But it was a very
cool experience to have some input into the design process.

The more I see of SmartIT, the more I am convinced that this is the logical
next phase of the client, with the potential to make the current web clients go
away. The framework is flexible, adaptable, taking advantage of the devices we
all carry around anyway, using their built in capabilities (maps for example)
as one would naturally expect. As of today there are three different personas
for which the SmartIT client has been designed, but there are more on the way.
An iPhone/Android phone app is also in the pipeline. Very excited about this

There's a Connect with Remedy series Webinar coming up next Wednesday. I think

Topic: Connect with Remedy - Smart IT: New ITSM User Experience and Technical

I'll try to dig up the registration link.

very cool experience to have some input into the design process.

The more I see of SmartIT, the more I am convinced that this is the
logical next phase of the client, with the potential to make the current web
clients go away. The framework is flexible, adaptable, taking advantage of the
devices we all carry around anyway, using their built in capabilities (maps for

I know next to nothing about iOS (and don't like it, personally) but in looking

This value does not match your record for some reason. (Usually a delete and

To clean up - manually type in CTI and search. You can manually reselect cti

Shawn,

I am pretty sure that this release of SmartIT is for the tablets and (of
course) web clients. I would be delighted to be wrong about this.

I'm still not sure which category my iPhone 6+ fits in. It barely fits in my
pocket :-)

Technology Showcase has just closed. There are only 1 or 2 sessions left, then
the great gathering of bus riders over to Universal for the JAM party tonight!

Yes, it WAS. Sat in the front row... With a box lunch... Just behind the
audience mic, and I didn't want to munch my salad for all of you to hear.
 :-)

Not sure how much of the pageantry in the room was sent live to the net,
but I can vouch that the demos on the iPad were indeed on the iPad on
stage, and another person typed the responses live. The idea of being able
to do the bar code read from your iPad (finally! Someone has done this!)
ranks high in my list. After the demos there was a panel taking live
questions from the audience, they're out in the hallway still talking to
 some.

I got a chance to be a beta tester for future versions of SmartIT (one
of the session rooms is a testing lab). Sorry, no details to post. But it
was a very cool experience to have some input into the design process.

The more I see of SmartIT, the more I am convinced that this is the
logical next phase of the client, with the potential to make the current
web clients go away. The framework is flexible, adaptable, taking advantage
of the devices we all carry around anyway, using their built in
capabilities (maps for example) as one would naturally expect. As of today
there are three different personas for which the SmartIT client has been
designed, but there are more on the way. An iPhone/Android phone app is
also in the pipeline. Very excited about this

  Back to more sessions now

Is that the launch that will be streamed live on video?

  Cheers

I love it. Hawaiian shirts in Florida is serious.

Today is intense. No morning keynote, right into sessions at 8:00 AM,
with the SmartIT launch in 3 hours. Be sure to watch! For what it's worth,
I've seen some material which amounts to a preview of the launch, and it
will be worth getting your managers to watch!
