I have a couple of Outlook Forms from which I want to directly create a

The ticket should be filled with the details like summary, description,
requestor, CTI's, group, Case Type, Status, Priority etc. and the
outlook form being attached to the ticket in Remedy.

Remedy Administrator & Mid Tier Forms

2008-01-10 Thread Rahul Takle
Hi,

I have made changes to the user interface of a form in Remedy
Administrator.

Do I need to modify the .java or .jsp files on the mid tier to reflect
those changes or will the mid tier itself point to the same form in
Remedy Administrator and pick it up and will I be able to see the
modified form in the Mid Tier.

Please let me know.

Thanks

Re: Setting Date Format To yyyy-mm-dd Site Wide

2007-12-20 Thread Rahul Takle
Hi,

If I create the INIT_FORM in the Admin Tool and save it with some name
and create an active link for this form on "window open" with two actions:

Run Process: PERFORM-ACTION-SET-PREFERENCE 20129 0 and

Run Process: PERFORM-ACTION-SET-PREFERENCE 20122 "/MM/dd"

and add this "INIT_FORM: " entry in the ar.cfg file on the server
then will I be able to see all the date fields on all the other forms in Remedy
in the format "-MM-dd".

Also do I need to make this new form "HIDDEN" so that whenever the user logs in
then also this form will open without displaying

Please let me know.

Thanks

Hi Rahul,

You define your own InitForm. Just edit the ar.conf-file on the server and

add a riw like this:

Init-Form: TheFormNameOfYourChoise

This will open the form without displaying it whenever a user logs in.

Re: Setting Date Format To yyyy-mm-dd Site Wide

2007-12-17 Thread Rahul Takle
Hi Martin,

No, I haven't tried that but I will try it.

Is there any way by which I can do this Date setting in the
"-mm-dd" format using the AR Admin tool.

This is because on the BMC Knowledge Base site I came across one
solution which states that

Note: If you want to change date and time format site-wide instead
of per-user, your administrator must change your operating_specific
locale settings.

which leads me to believe that there is a way to do it through
the admin tool.

Can you please help me in knowing weather is this possible using
the admin tool or not.

Thanks

Rahul

Hi Rahul,

Have you tried setting the ARDATE environment variable for the AR Server
or ARDATE in your ar.conf file?
