Re: Problem processing incoming mail

2012-08-03 Thread Joe Martin D'Souza
>From Jose’s updates, It may have been server cache related problems..

Note to John Sundberg since he was looking for ideas related to server
comparisons and stuff like that.. Hopefully John is viewing this thread?

Might be a great idea to have a utility that can read server cache (not DB) to
list number of objects of each type and possibly names to an output – which
would have been useful in this one odd case..

I have mine set up as I said in my email and it is working fine but it could
possibly work in the Push fields qualification. I just have not tried it that
way. My full Run If qualification going against the AR System Email Messages
form (on Submit) is:

('From' != $NULL$) AND ('Message Type' = "Incoming")
From that it then does the Push Fields Action with no qualification. If
No Requests Match: Create a New Request. If Any Requests Match: Take No Action

Yes, of course!

But in my desperation of trying to trigger the filter i set all
qualifications void. Now it's working as expected and I select only
incomming messages from a particular mailbox and a
particular incoming address.

You would still be better off with the Push Field If qualification to prevent
outgoing messages to be pushed as well.. It would be cleaner unless you do
intend the outgoing messages to create a record as well..

** Hi listers,

I created a filter on "AR System Email Messages" form as the next:

Execution: Enabled, Submit, 900
Qualification: None
ACTIONS:
PUSH: New request to form AAA:Email with the subject and plain text body.

If I create a request on this form, the request at AAA:Email is created.
If I receive an email, a request is created in AR System Email Messages
but not on AAA:Email.

What Am I doing wrong?

POP3 might be turned off on the Email server (Exchange) or what ever you
use. As Rick said read the guide I have to setup MAPI and the guide was
a big help.

Check for any error in fom "AR System Email Error logs", specially for

Brooks, the email config guide has some instructions, with which you're
probably familiar. The instructions have to be followed EXACTLY, or you
will likely not see things work right.

So go through the instructions and ensure that your account and the Email
config entry are set up as they're supposed to be, and see what happens.
