I'm a little confused as well. I went to register and I had an existing account so I reset my password. Once logged in, I am taken to the WWRug:Home form attendee view. I can't really do anything but look at the contents of the table field listing the existing topics. I don't see how to download a template or submit a topic. Even opening an existing topic results in a permissions error. I'm unsure if there's a problem with my account or my ability to read instructions :) I'd appreciate any help or direction. Hi Steve, Do you see the cell table with all of the sessions from last year? If that is what you are seeing can you clear your browser cache? I would hope if you accessed the site back in Oct/Nov on that same machine that you would have received the latest definitions today but it doesn't sound like it. Like we tell our users, flush browser cache and try again :) Once you have the correct defs there will be a submission link on the left navigation. You should only see your submission in the table field. We are working on getting the updated PowerPoint templates posted. Once they are available they'll be in the Submission section with Submit New Topic. I definitely am seeing topics from last year (I recognized the Genius Bar and Zero-Downtime talks right off the bat), but even on a clean VM, the only link in my left navbar is for settings-change password. The only link on the top navbar is for Logout. I did clear my cache and I have tried across firefox/chrome/IE. Not trying to be a bugger, but I figure if it's wrong for me, there are probably a few other people affected as well. My login is the email address in this message if you want to try it out with my account. Ok, so yes it looks like an error but it isn't. There is an assumption that you all won't wait until the last minute, in fact there is an incentive not to: IF we have tie votes and too many papers, we will go by date of submission as the tie breaker, so submit early, submit often (different topics of course). Don't forget to bug your BMC reps about what they are presenting and who they are sending :-) IF you aren't presenting, you will want to be there to hear the presentations, so register early for the best rate, and don't forget to book your hotel room as soon as possible, the hotel was sold out last year and we are expecting more people this year.
