[AsburyPark] Re: New file uploaded to AsburyPark - Trivia
Werner, 2 valuable words, completely developed city! Asbury Park, has already been completely developed, even though some of the still standing structures are blighted. See Metropolitan and the Charms buildng. That said, who are the owners of these two? Are they paying taxes and if not, why hasn't the city/Bank, seized them? I don't understand how for decades, 2 significant structures were allowed to fester and fall apart? The group, now in office, have done nothing, as far as I can see, to turn this around! Who loses? WE lose! It's no wonder why we get the rep, we have! I saw Police, everywhere, last night, 10:30PM, on my way home. Question: Why was an auto, allowed to be on the sidewalk, next to the hot dog stand, at the Saint? (facing Main St., on the wrong side of the street). A patrol car, was stopped at the light and when it turned green, went on, like this was normal? If this was a block away, on the west side, I wonder, what the reaction, would be? It was one of those Element (black), looking vehicles. --- In AsburyPark@yahoogroups.com, wernerapnj [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: --- In AsburyPark@yahoogroups.com, wernerapnj wernerapnj@ wrote: Oak Bluff Drive - if no ne got it yet - Im just going through the days posts. = Avenue it is - congratulations Tommie - Now if you could only grasp the signiifcance and value of open space (Green Acres) in a completely developed City Werner Yahoo! Hi Dan the Man, That's an 1877 Map showing Oak Bluff Avenue. What has me using some caution is that I have later maps (for instance an 1890) that doesn't even show the road built yet. Probably needs some research beyond looking at Maps for the answer. I love your song. May I be Eva? N Asbury Park is where I'd rather be. Sandy Hook is not for me. I just adore a pavilion view. Darling I love you, but give me Fifth avenue Green Acres - the act is not the same as Open Space although Open Space can be Green Acres. Turtle Back Zoo is a green acres space. Many towns use green acres for sport fields. Many historical sites are green acres. People often confuse the two acts, but while they may both apply to some properties they can also apply individually to others. Jennifer Yahoo!
