You should have asked her for the next winning lottery number. That would be a gift! --- On Tue, 7/1/08, fancypaaantz [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: From: fancypaaantz [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: [AsburyPark] Re: RIP Madam Marie To: AsburyPark@yahoogroups.com Date: Tuesday, July 1, 2008, 7:55 PM I got a reading a few years ago for kicks and giggles and it was with one of her granddaughters I believe. I just quoted the press article.. But since you brought it up, no, I don't think they will ever tear it down. They put up their new containers right around the MM building. If they had planned on removing it, they would have done so already. The ideal spot for the container would have been in the corner (where MM is). No ones moving anything at this point! But of course, weather MM herself will remain there forever is questionable. I know her family has been running the place for the last few years now, will they continue?

93 (or 94 depends upon the source) is a terrific run of life! Rest well, Madame Marie. I am sure that the Temple of Knowledge will be flanked (if not already) with tokens of sympathy. I'll bring something with me when I visit. I cannot recall where I read it, but Mrs. Castello supposedly negotiated a lease back in the 50's and apparently it is a long-term lease. They won't tear it down... most likely because Madame Marie was a shrewd business woman and They CAN'T tear it down. as long as the payments are made. In addition to the interior painting, the exterior was also re- airbrushed and the new cool awning is great. I think it will be there in 2013, but I won't predict... let's leave THAT up to the Castello's! --- In AsburyPark@yahoogroups.com, Jack Pitzer [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: The Asbury Park Press is reporting that Madam Marie has died. I forgot where i read that about the lease, but I knew that as well. She had a very good lease, insanely cheap for some reason.. She did good. Her grand daughters were gifted with the power I read a few years ago. Since their, as well as Marie's location in OT was torn down a few years ago, I wonder where their location is? Or is the boardwalk location truly it? I know a lot of physics work out of their house.
