I did not say they did not exist. I am saying that PALIN is faking it, or playing it up to try to appeal to them. Implicit in that statement is an acknowledgement that they exist. That's not why she fired him and you know it. Got the new Right Wing Rewrite History memo? Walt Monegan lost his job as public safety director because he resisted Gov. Sarah Palin's budget policies and showed outright insubordination, say papers the governor's lawyer filed Monday with the state Personnel Board. It was Palin's strongest effort yet to snuff allegations she sacked Monegan because he refused to fire a state trooper involved in an ugly divorce with the governor's sister. http://www.adn.com/front/v-printer/story/527346.html On Oct 3, 2008, at 3:58 PM, justifiedright wrote: --- In AsburyPark@yahoogroups.com, Jersey Shore John [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: Last month, the state Legislature appointed an independent investigator to review whether the governor or her aides abused their power by pressuring Monegan to fire the trooper, a probe that the Democratic chairman of the state Senate Judiciary Committee said could lead to Palin's impeachment. Re: [AsburyPark] Re: a question of balance
So your position is Palin is not small town and folksy? Then please tell me what about her makes you think the opposite of her. What makes her cosmopolitan and patrician in your eyes? Palin this week characterized herself as “an everyday, working-class American” who knows how it feels when the stock market takes a hit. The Palins’ total income last year was split almost evenly between Sarah Palin’s white-collar job and her husband’s blue-collar work. Sarah Palin’s salary as governor was $125,000; Todd Palin took in $46,790 as a part-time oil production operator for BP Alaska in Prudhoe Bay, plus $46,265 in commercial fishing income and $10,500 in Iron Dog snowmachine race winnings. These figures do not include nearly $17,000 in per diem payments Palin received for 312 nights spent in her own home since she was elected governor; she also has received $43,490 to cover travel costs for her husband and children. In addition, each member of the Palin family received $1,654 in state oil royalties paid to all Alaskans. The Palins’ assets seem enviable: a half-million-dollar home on a lake with a float-plane at the dock, two vacation retreats, commercial-fishing rights worth an estimated $50,000 or more and an income last year of at least $230,000. sometimes these wonders just pop into my head...usually best to not hit send. DUDE...if you think that Palin is clean you are blinded. she is all female ugliness. behind the scenes finagling, secrecy, i don't think the world yet knows how ugly women can be. just like the librarian (i think its the librarian) she scares the bejeezus out of me. AND...if for no other reason, you are getting all the same creeps that we've had...if nothing else a little freshening of the meat may be beneficial.Palin is a ROVE creation more and more every day. i am by no means a partisan person. i know the dems rot in many ways. i am a Nader lover, but what good is someone like him when we have done nothing to demand that we hear him and Paul and other third party candidates. that is the real crime to me. i consider our politics fixed, just some minor differences between the parties...but after 8 years of complete deterioration, just change the (*^%% sheets. [AsburyPark] Re: a question of balance
Sarah Palin represents everything that I think is wrong with this country. Her sarcastic, insult laden speech at the Republican convention sickened me, and that was her coming out party. She lost any respect that I had an open mind to at that very moment. Her interviews with Katie Couric leave me speechless. She advocates the senseless and violent killing of wolves. She is a member of a church that thinks speaking in tongues is just fine. She wants to see Roe vs. Wade overturned. And you call all that a fresh breath of common sense Unbelievable. And ignorant. --- In AsburyPark@yahoogroups.com, [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: Sorry Gabby, nothing to do with herbs on the list.
