I never used PMs on this forum, but turning them off is like an airplane pilot intentionally crashing against a building only because his ex-girlfriend and her current usband are there.Even on countries that censor the Internet, there are users who find ways of skyping it, like proxyes, VPNs or encription extensions installed on web browsers. In other words, disabling private messages is not a solution at all. Why not trusting the community as a wole instead?Concerning the rules, I think these are clear. Altough there are cultural differences that sometimes the language show, Internet and information technologies in general are too connected with the English language. Different users will have differents levels of English, but almost any user who use a computer will know which a crack, serial, keygen or patch mean. There are people that are not computer entusiasts and may be confused the first time they hear those terms, but it is not anything that a friend or relativ
 e couldn't answer on any countrie/region with Internet access.If the so big problem behind this are the rules, I don't have any inconvenience to translate then into Spanish. I like translating and I'd like to localize anything related to this site, but I don't believe that making rules available in many language will help to stop piracy.

I think it's freedom scientific... Anyways, yeah it would be a big haha for them. Maybe they should remove the vidio intercept thingy and the macros used for editing text that disables/slows down the use of arrow keys in other programs. Ya know, those are the things i think very frustrating about JAWS, but that's for another day XD. And also remove the things preventing JAWS from working in games which can be fixed by using the keyhook...

I disagree that entombed is indeed worth buying. It is definitely not worth spending #40 for.All that dark says is true. Well, all the unopinionated things such as the fact that there are more jobs and races and all 25 floors to be had. There, however, are tons and tons and tons of bugs in the game, including a lot of crash bugs, that detract from the user experience. I know the developer is still around, sort of, but he is refusing to fix all of these bugs. Paying $40 for that kind of service is not something I relish doing; if he refuses to fix the bugs, he should take a page out of Philip Bennefall's book and make his game free. When you pay for something, you expect it to work well, without messups. If it doesn't, there is something wrong, and that is why Entombed is not worth paying for. Oh, plus, the bazarre has so many bugs that it is only about 50% as useful as it ought to be, like it only lists the first 10 items from any search, which usually are the most
  expensive items, the quality search doesn't actually do anything, and you can't display longswords. At least the  new races and jobs are, for the most part, interesting to play and not buggy. I especially like the monk class it gives you a rather different approach to the game.But, even though Entombed is probably not worth paying for, there is good news! I myself am working on a game to supplant Entombed. It will not have many of the problems that entombed was prone to having, including a $40 price tag. There will be, altogether, better game mechanics, more content, a more consistent user experience, better quality sound effects, and full screen reader support, among other things. So stay tuned! Feel free to ask questions too, though information will probably be scarce right now as I have only started working on it about a month and a half ago and have inordinate work to do before I can even think about releasing a public demo.

hi,well, google tts on android just rocks, although it is a bit heavy on the system.btw, when i downloaded espeak for android, there were high pitched espeak voice.while on a samsung phone where i tried to download espeak, it was a different voice, probably different from the new google tts but close enough to sound like one of the ios voices. more like microsoft anna, but that wouldn't be close enough.so, any idea what kind of tts or voice could it be.thanks

Tward experiences make me think that it requires a lot of effort, but if someone is committed to learn new principles and experiment with many settings (settings understood as specific distros, not only options), you could stop using Windows for most of the tasks.As Sebby says, GUI accessibility on GNU/Linux seems inadequate. As a newcomer when I tried Ubuntu, for example, I felt to be lost many times: sometimes I could arrive to certain important areas, sometimes Orca with Espeak simply stopped responding, and many times I opened help topics I couldn't read. I hope the situation was changed on these three years.

I'm sure you will encourage some users to jump into the GNU/Linux world.The fact that Orca cannot support every GNU/Linux application is not a fault; like on Windows and almost on any operating system, developers sometimes build non-standard interfaces or unlabeled controls. Moreover, openness of Linux sometimes also have unpredictable behavior outside of accessibility.Do you know accessible Linux-based software for Z-code and Glulx games? This is particularly interesting, since we are on Audiogames.

What do you mean by "bufs?What I could do is create the ability to make different profiles for each role, then you can press that number on the keyboard or arrow down to it in order to edit it. When you create or edit them, you can add bufs to them.When adding the bufs, It can ask something like:Would you like to add, subtract, multiply or divide the total?Then you can choose what you wish and enter the number you desire.So I could press:add, then 4.3and it would add 4.3 to what ever I rolled.Would that work?Then that profile would be saved with that buf. Sid512, not sure about you but I don't think a swinging wine would do you much good since wine is an alcoholic beverage. What you want is a swinging vine not a swinging wine. Not picking on you, but I just thought what you said was sort of funny. I can see some hero jumping out, grabbing a bottle of wine, and falling to his doom because he grabbed wine not a vine. Reminds me a bit of the deaf genie jokes where the genie keeps giving people the wrong thing because he misunderstands what they asked for.

Fergregoire94, yes, as a matter of fact I do. I myself use Frotz for Linux with the Speakup screen reader for playing Zcode and Glulx based games. In addition I use an interpreter called Scare for playing a number of games written in Adrift. Scare doesn't support everything, but it does allow me to play some games written in Adrift 3 and 4 on Linux. There are also CLI interpreters for Tads and AGT text games if you want them So as far as text based games goes the sky is the limit on Linux..

no there is not. The reason why is that the IPhone voices are based off of new wants and ESpeak is not based off of that. While eloquence is, it doesn't have the code for the IPhone.

@fergregoire94: To answer your question, yes I use Linux at the CLI only, for running servers, on a hobby and pro basis. I personally consider the state of graphical Linux accessibility to be inadequate, but we're all different, and as Tward says, it's entirely possible that this is not the case for everybody. I do use OS X as my primary desktop OS for now, although my desire to hop back to an environment with more flexibility--probably Windows--is growing.

Hello Ogomez,I don't think there is a list of all the achievements available in the game, however if you want to get the list of your achievements (those that you've already get), press Shift+O in the in between levels area and press enter on "view accomplishments". Then you can press up and down arrow to navigate the list.

Kamochek, while there are a number of mainstream Harry Potter games out there for sighted people none are fully accessible for the blind that I know of. That's just the way things are, and its not that simple just to recreate the same game only accessible. There is a whole lot of issues you haven't stopped to consider why what you suggest is extremely unrealistic.For one thing as others have stated it isn't legal. There is something called international copyright laws which prevents people from using copyrighted material from a book, movie, a game, etc without the author's expressed permission. There are exceptions of course, but by and large a game developer like myself can't just write a game based on another person's ideas and expect it to be legal. One is expected to pay for the right to create a commercial derivative work, and depending on the copyright in question it can get quite expensive for special licenses for the right to use the st
 ory and characters alone. that doesn't even include actors, sounds,music, etc.Another issue you  have not considered is time. It takes hundreds of man hours to put together a decent game. What may take a team of 10 to 12 developers to do in six months would take a single blind developer two or three years to do the same. That in of itself makes it unrealistic that an audio game developer is going to just jump up and write a Harry Potter game upon request, because he or she will be into the project for the long hall.Finally, there is the issue of interest. Not everyone is interested in Harry Potter, or a Harry Potter game, so taken with the fact it isn't strictly legal and it takes time and money a person just isn't going to do it if they aren't interested in the subject matter.Take me for example. I was already in my early 20's when Harry Potter came out so I wasn't really in the age group the books were targeted for. The first
  book, Sorcerer's Stone, was aimed at an age group of 10 to 12 years old. While I read the book thought it was okay I didn't get overly excited about it either. I read all the books, went to see the movies, and while I liked it I wasn't crazy about it. Even if I had been younger I doubt I would have been extremely interested in Harry Potter because fantasy has never really ben my thing to begin with.When I was younger, say the age group the Harry Potter series was aimed for, I was heavily into science fiction. I was into Star Trek, Star Wars, Babylon 5, Battlestar Galactica, and so on. Fantasy stories about witches and wizards were okay, but I wasn't a fan of them per se. Therefore based on genre it is doubtful I would have ever been a fan of Harry Potter personally.The point I am getting at is simply this. If I were going to write a game it would have to be something I truly enjoy. I would spend a lot of personal time and effort creating it, time t
 esting it, playing it, and since Harry Potter isn't really my thing I'd grow sick of the project long before I came up with a public demo. Added to that is complications with licensing, having to buy sounds and music, have to hire voice actors, and therefore it would be a pretty boring and expensive undertaking to create a game I wouldn't really like to begin with. So interest is pretty much the primary ingredient to creating any game. Without it there is no point even starting on such a project.

I forgot to add that I completely agree with you that an older game can still be spectacular.  Monkey business is the best 3d environment representation I've ever seen, it really captured the 3d platformer genre with many elements of a main stream game and great sound design to boot.  I grew up in the 8 16 32 bit era and played platformers with friends such as mario 64 etc so that is why I feel as I do about monkey.

For those who don't know this game, Preguntados is an Argentinian trivia multiplayer game for Android, iOS and web browsers.It can be played against Facebook friends and users who registered with their e-mails. There are 6 question categories which players will have to get, winning the one who gets the six characters first or the one who have more characters (categories) at round 25 if nobody had won all.In addition to Spanish you can play in English, German, Italian, Portuguese, Catalan and one more language I don't remember. Does someone on this community play this game outside Argentina? In my country it's being played by a lot of people and, since it is accessible, it is a great "toy" to socialize.

First, is it worth buying? Hell yes! Here is a list of the bennifits:#The ability to play as 11 different starting races (three must be unlocked), as compared to only five in the demo. #18 different starting job choices (three need to be unlocked), as compared to only 7. #The ability to descend the entire 25 floors (which increase in size as you go down), where the demo stops after you take the staircase down from the 7th floor. Sinse a lot of the monsters, and better quality items don't appear until further down, you won't get chance to see them in the demo.#The ability to use the bazarre to buy and sell items to other players of the game.So, a hell of a lot more stuff! some of the jobs in the full version are particularly funn! barbarians with rage, monks with unarmed skills and ability to break limbs, brawlers who can literally nut things and bards who play magical music. Second, can you still buy the game? Defini

The developer hasn't fallen off the face of the earth like some we could mention, he's just been busy with his family and his children, which is fair enough, and all the payment services are certainly still working. Third is there a wwalkthru? unfortunately not, and given the randomness of what classes of characters you rescue and how the game works, it wouldn't be easy to do. I do have an entombed handbook in mind which is a sort of combination detailed  instruction manual and guide to stratogy, it's sort of currently two thirds finished though I probably ought to just sit down and do the rest.So yes, buy the game! it's fantastic, and there is still nothing like it in the audiogames markit. Remember, just because a game has been out for a while doesn't stop it being an awsome game, look at shades of doom, which up until a few days ago hadn't seen an update in 8 years!

I'm sure I will encourage some users to jump into the GNU/Linux world.The fact that Orca cannot support every GNU/Linux application is not a fault; like on Windows and almost on any operating system, developers sometimes build non-standard interfaces or unlabeled controls. Moreover, openness of Linux sometimes also have unpredictable behavior outside of accessibility.Do you know accessible Linux-based software for Z-code and Glulx games? This is particularly interesting, since we are on Audiogames.

The free Yosemite public beta is now available; details here. Reports are that it is available to more than just those who signed up, but I got my email, so I apparently made the first million. Still, give it a try, and see what happens!Yosemite is the upcoming release of OS X. You need Mavericks to be able to install it. I don't buy valuable stuff on Audible. I don't care who foists DRM--it's still DRM, it's still evil, and I don't reward that. On the other hand, if you buy direct from Audible, then iTunes is as good a player as the crap Audible foists, so I prefer it, since it means not having separate software installed. The only safe thing to buy from iTunes is music, even if it's in the spoken word category (all The Bradshaws are up there, for example). Some books from the iBooks store may be unprotected, but you won't know until you buy it, so reward good publishers.@Dark re music file location, this article is pretty comprehensive. Once you have the files, copy them somewhere safe in your collection where they make sense, then in iTunes, delete the entries for the songs to free up the space in the media folder. There is furthermore an option never to copy files out of the source folder, so you can add 
 to your library without making duplicates, leaving only purchases in the iTunes library folder until you delete them. And no, purchases don't have to be permanently on your phone; in fact they are elevated to the privileged position of being available for streaming on demand.

Is entombed worth buying?

Hello allI've started playing entombed again after a few years and am almost at the end of the demo.  I am enjoying it so far but noticed it hasn't been updated since april of 2010.  I hesitate to purchase since I am afraid my payment will be submitted but I may not receive my unlock?  As I said, the only reason is that it hasn't been updated in forever, including the wiki and website.Has anyone written a comprehensive walkthrough/guide for it, it's definitely a game that needs one!Thanks

Hi guys, sorry I seem like I've fallen off the world lately.I know I've done this before, but this post is another one of those explanations about where I've been, what I've been up to, and why I haven't released any updates.  I've been in a bit of a rut lately, as probably everyone here can relate to.  It's just been hard to be motivated so I'm waiting around for the feeling to wear off (as it always does eventually).  I was super busy with family stuff for a couple of weeks, so that kept me away from home for a lot of my free time.  I was side tracked working on some new security code for Castaways, because a few losers have been harassing the people who play it on multiplayer.  Castaways recently had a pretty big bump in activity, and I guess a couple of trouble makers saw it as an opportunity to annoy
  people.  *heavy sigh*I got myself so behind in emails and skype messages that it was pretty overwhelming.  I think that's what kicked off the "rut" mood, and it's the reason so many of you are probably waiting on email replies.  Like I seriously have pages of emails that I haven't gotten to yet, I think 10 skype conversations I haven't looked at yet, and hilariously enough I've had 2 phone calls from people who needed help with their accounts and tracked down my phone number.  HAHA!  I should just start doing them 1 at a time to chisel away at it (and that's what I'll end up doing), but I'm sort of waiting for my mood to wear off so that it's easier.  LOL!  On second thought I probably shouldn't have shared the phone calls story.  Then I wound up injuring my hand at work (j
 ammed my index finger and had the pinky bent sideways too far) so typing turned into a 1 handed task.  I got annoyed enough at the typing situation that I pretty much just avoid it (this post being an exception).  I'm not going to be as long-winded as I'd like to be, hehe, but I am forcing myself to at least type this out so people know where I have been.I'm going to be super busy next week so sadly even if I snap back into a productive mood, I won't be able to take advantage of it until the following week.  The whole thing sucks, especially for people who are having some issue or other and are stuck waiting on me to fix it.  Lvj's post before mine is a great example, and I feel bad having people stuck waiting on me to get myself together.  I'll be "back" as soon as I can!  Now for the second rea
 son behind my post.  During the past few years I remember seeing posts from people trying to find out sales data for audio games.  Indeed if you were planning to make a game to sell, it would be good to know how many copies other games sold, and how much money they generated!  Gathering such information can only be a help, but most of the time you can't find it.  A lot of developers would rather keep that stuff private, which is understandable!In another thread I just read some sales statistics about Rail Racer and Entombed, which was the kick I needed to bring this all up.  I have had curious people ask me some of this information as well, so I know it will end up helping someone if I post it publicly.  I try to keep an open "relationship" with the community because life is simpler when I don't have to remember what I can and can not share, hehe.  [[wow]] this is taking a long time to type!  haha.As of this moment (7/25/2014), I have sold 437 gamer accounts.  The accounts went up for sale on March 25th.In March, 186 accounts were sold.  So that was a 6 day period because I believe March has 31 days in it.In April, 112 accounts were sold.In May, 54 accounts were sold.In June, 56 accounts were sold.And now in July, 29 accounts have been sold.  There are still 6 days left in July, so that number may rise by a few more.Sales are obviously slowing down, which is as expected.  I'm pleasantly surprised that the sales continued so strong for so long already!    I did not think I'd reach numbers like this.The original plan was for a $2 per month fee, because any lower and Paypal fees would be too high to b
 e worth it.  To make sure everyone is clear, I could no longer use the "I can't go any lower" excuse once I changed it over to a full year being paid up front.  That was a last minute change because hackers had already begun spreading around their plan to just pay $2 for an account to cause trouble with, and then keep paying $2 each time to cause more trouble after their accounts were banned.  I changed to charging a full year up front so that the hackers could not afford to do that simple trick to continue causing problems.The gamer account costs $24 USD, and I get $22.76 after the Paypal fees for the transaction.  With lower payments (like $2), the fees represent a sizable chunk of the money, but at this much higher amount it is very reasonable.  So to squelch the rumor that I have heard, I DO get to keep most of the money I collect from the gamer accounts.  Yay for me!    I didn't really plan on things

Hi sid.You really should be asking someone else bar me because I am not the best to talk to about the folder.I am still quite angry about the folder.bit torrent sync is supposed to bbe the most secure way to sync files without using cloud storage.games central is a folder to put all games in a convenient place.I don't have the secret anymore, I can't find the topic in here now.However the reason I quit to put it politely was because it was so open, people were abusing it.The file was way huge, and people deleted and added stuff as they wanted.they also put cracks in the folder.There were also a lot of duplicate files in the folder.Not that it was all bad, one dev set up some colaberative opensource thing in the folder.there are maps of aac, there are in fact a lot of aac related junk and games not publicly released yet.There is still a lot of potential.If that is that the folder is only open to
  a few that can write to it and its heavily moderated.now its not, its 4 or so gb in size and yesterday someone deleted most of it again so I had to upload the entire folder again well bt sync started restoring it from its archive.since I only had 30gb a month and share it, I was not going to waste 5gb so that I could have a current update of a torrent with pirated stuff and where its admins or who ever owned it should have answered my concerns and rants in the right comments file.In short the folder got to be a high risk for me and in fact I was starting to wander hopw long before someone used it for viruses and such I may have been grosly incorrect but that's the way it is.I wouldn't recommend it for anyone to use bt sync unless you knew what you were doing, I am not going to be using bt sync at all in the future, I may even remove all my bt sync shares and uninstall it from my computer because of it.its only because I am on the nvda sync th
 at I am keeping the program but I am in 2 minds about doing that now.If I ever get a large amount of bandwidth per month maybe 100gb + I may even make my own folder and moderate it, its not going to be open that's for sure and it will need a lot of devices on it with dropbox you really don't need everyone on all the time but there are space issues and its hard to moderate.so far bar a few issues in a few folders I have not had any issues with that.if you have google using the google drive may be a better thing its 15gb free though be mindfull you actually use that drive for everything including your email as its your account butt a poorly managed folder is more of a pain than anything else.

Well on the one hand copywrite is a beast and these fat cat coorporations get very annoyed about it and often take people to court.  Tom ward for example was told it would cost him thousands of dollars if he wanted to make a commercial starwars audiogame and that he'd be taken to court if he tried without paying, never mind that Lukas arts do  bugger all as far as accessible games go. And look what happened just because he used the name! Montizuma's revenge?Frankly these people are scum, and they're very good at bully others for just a tiny bit more prophet, but sadly money is on their side which means highering lawyers. On the other hand Phil has got away with sarah, and David with first Trek 2000 and then Time of conflict 2.0, and I personally am not convinced that a court case would be so one sided even if things did go that far, then again it's probably better things don't and if developers create games with preexisting characte
 rs from books, films, tv programs etc those games probably need to remain free to avoid the copywrite monster.The more major issue however is as Mike said, simply having the programming tools, sounds, actors etc to create the game. I don't think you realize Camochek when you say so casually "just create something like a mainstream game" exaclty how much time, money and man power goes into making mainstream games. We're talking about a very large number of people, perhaps as many as 50 or 100, programmers, graphic artists, sound designers, actors etc, all working solidly for 8 hours a day for at least six months with a budgit of millions for buying whatever components they need. Compare that to what one or two people can do on their own, in their spare time, with what resources they can scrape together or at most buy for a few hundred dollars. It's like the difference between you sitting down with a microphone attached to your computer and recor
 ding your synthesiser reading the text of a book as an mp3 file, and the most well put together and finely produced radio play you can imagine starring the best actors, with professionally produced music and sound effects and a good few days spent on sound production. All that being said, as Mike pointed out there are some pretty amazing audiogames, indeed I'm rediscovering the joys of swamp myself right now. I once watched my brother playing a playstation 1 game based on Harry potter and the Philosopher's stone. The game was all in 3D, but rather than being like sarah where you wandered from place to place, it gave you little challenges, almost like a level. So for example when you started the game, you had a short sequence in the great hall with the feast, then harry ran into draco malfoy, crab and goyle and you got a little boss battle where you were in a small room in the entrance hall and the three of them each took turns chucking "wizard crackers&q
 uot; (Basically little stick of dynamite)e at you. You had to dodge the sticks, then pick them up and chuck the back before they exploded. There were other cchallenges like a little 3D platformer to get to flitwick's class on time, and one occasion where you followed nearly headless knick down a corridor to Griffindor tower and found there were some poisonous snales escaped from a care of magical creatures class which you had to blast with a spell. The game messed around with the book a lot, including adding extra spells to do different things. I could imagine a similar game done in audio with a good 3D engine like either the swamp campaigne scripter or the gma engine, though finding all the voices and sfx and trying to code different challenges for each section of the game would be quite a task, as would be make all the audio drama sequences for cut scenes.As I said however, I personally would much rather see an actual magic based game not set in th
 e Potter universe, sinse I know! about harry potter, and in a way would rather explore another world with new magic and creatures, this would also avoid copywrite entirely sinse it would be a completely original work.

That's great. I also would like an alternative to btSync because I really am not a very huge fan of things like this. But I definitley hope to play your stage soon, I remember getting a virtually unbeatable boss and not being able to proceed although to be honest I have no idea how far in the game that actually was, it was I believe when I just lost all my weapons and got the knife back and had to fight this enemy that just kiled be every time.

The problem blackbird is none of those studdies really have anything to do with your arguement sinse all of them involve piracy of mainstream games where there will be millions of copies sold either way, and where one person's pirating really goes unnoticed. I can think of two indi developers who have been seriously harmed by piracy who I have personally known and beta tested for, both of them creating accessible games, one indeed completely quit because of it. Think of it this way, the maximum number of copies any accessible game will sell is 1000, also bare in mind anyone developing such games is a hobby developer who has to buy all their components, sounds etc. Thus, the effects are much greater. If your game is going to only sell about 200 copies, then even on a basic mathematical lineup, just one pirate is a pretty big chunk, hence the unforgiving stance of this forum regarding cracks.Btw, rail racer in it's first year sold less than 200 copies,
  and Entombed sold 487 between 2008 and 2010so I am not making this up.

I have no idea, the resolution thing is the only thing I could think of. You should be able to just double click on the wormhole that says "wormhole to new  manchester" fly to it, and then double click again. Alternatively once you've flew to the wormhole you could try using the " travel to this location" close to hwere your personal status is instead. I don't think it's nvda sinse other Nvda users don't have this issue, but if your already at 1024-768 resolution, or 800 x 600, I don't particularly have any ideas i'm afraid.

I'm not sure what the deal is, there; it might require that you already have a save state created when you launch the program (I just checked the code, and I can't tell if it would crash if the file isn't there or not. If I update this, I'm adding a check for that--not sure why I didn't in the first place.).If you can post the contents of your clipboard after it crashes, that might help.

I'm having trouble getting the voices in the siri folder to show up in NVDA. I knew for sure that vocalizer expressive had to be installed first and then the voices, but when I choose nuance vocalizer from the list, I get an error and am still stuck using the previous synth, which is speech player in this case.

  I had not ridden this ride since Friday, 2nd July 2004, so I was looking forward to ride the Thriller (Gravitron) as the sign proclaimed.In the year that I actually got to ride it, I was not yet old or tall enough to ride alone, so I was obliged to be accompanied by a family member. Since I was still quite young, names of the rides held no importance to me as they do now, as I am clearly an amusement ride enthusiast. In the year 2012, I happened to stumble upon this particular ride when I was doing vague research on the internet. I started growing suspicious of the ride's description because it matched the description of the ride I had not been on since that day in 2004. Once I had validated that this was the same ride, I endeavoured to find every means possible to find it, even if it meant scouring the county and state fairs across the North-West.I finally got my chance to ride it yesterday, and I was looking forward to boarding it. However, the bad news came afte
 r I had boarded it. The same family member that had helped me before was not able to board with me, and after I had gotten off they explained to me that the operator told this family member that I should not be riding alone on this ride. According to rule no. 6, found on http://bigfairfun.com/rides-at-the-carnival.php, it states that it is always up to the ride operator to decide if it is safe for me to ride this ride. On this list i did not see any mention of the Gravitron whatsoever, so I'm wondering if this was added at the last minute. Had there been such I could have used it to determine why the operator felt the ride was unsafe. After all, I met the following requirements.1. No Casts, pregnant persons, nor intoxicated individuals on rides 2. Children who measure under 36" in height cannot ride any carnival rides alone and children who measure 36" to 48" in height may only ride 
 a few select rides 3. All riders must have either a Butler Amusements carnival ride wristband or Butler Amusements carnival ride coupons 4. Rides require 3 to 5 coupons each per rider 5. Infants are not allowed on any carnival rides My only difference that sets me apart from other individuals is that i have two physical disabilities, blindness and hard-of-hearing, but even so, that shouldn't be a problem, unless the operator fears that I would be more prone to getting hurt, which could result in a law suit. However, there can still be a law suit for discrimination, as it is against the Americans with Disabilities Act to not provide reasonable accomodations.I am also aware that there could have been a form of miscommunication. The operator could have meant that all riders must travel in pairs, regardless of age, height, disability, etc, sort of like a buddy or spotter. It could have been the fact that the misinterpretation occurred betwe

Just as a note, most audio book content and the like sold on iTunes though not necessarily all of it is provided by Audible. Number 6 is a standard get out clause. It basically means "If there's anything that happens that isn't on this list that we don't think is safe we reserve the right to say no anyway." Whether or not visual impairment comes under this heading depends on the ride specifics of course, I know little about such rides but I can't imagine a ride being so badly designed that someone as young as you were as a child could ride it but not a visually impaired adult.I heard about an incident here in the UK some time ago where someone with a visual impairment was denied access to a club on safety grounds, the staff were concerned that the person would be unable to safely navigate the stairs at the entrance. It went to court and was upheld as discrimination. This could be in a similar vein, safety concerns based in ignorance and not reality.As for your mother, try not to be too hard on her. Sure it's horrible to not be supported but a lot of the t
 ime mothers simply don't want to make a fuss, there's little you can do about that. Don't let her hold you back either and don't be afraid to stand up to her if you really need to, just understand that this kind of engrained attitude probably isn't going to change.

The only complaint I have is that Swamp can be a time sink if you really want to access all the content. Level-grinding and missions and Hard Core Mode... if you have lots of time, skill, luck, or people willing to help you with higher level missions, you can probably attain a title pretty quickly. But I like running around and exploring on my own, and don't like sitting logged in for weeks at a time, so I usually hit a level cap shortly before Hard Core and just kinda sit there for a while.But, yeah, more story tidbits here and there, new/modified maps and missions, etc.(Hey--are the puzzles that use to be on Multi3 still in the game? I haven't heard about them for a while.)

OK, maybe I don't know about it or something, but I don't think you can let enemies transport you after they're killed, without ending the level. Can we do that? If we can, can someone tell me how to do that please? Planning to make a Rusty with more than 2 fazes being stronger and stronger everytime. (Using Haily's save file though because i haven't beaten the game yet. Oh and by the way TheOnlyPKMNMaster, I might need your voice talent for this stage i'm planning on making, i'll tell you more when I have the motivation to make this stage... here is a simple trick about the final level. listen carefully to the series of the four teleportations. if he starts with the first teleport to the left the last will be to the right. you have to stay still while he teleports three times. when he starts the fourth teleport hold the key in which direction he will teleport and you will end being in his position. then you have a small window to attack him. Hi y'all, I'm writing this because I need some advice, and I need to do something about it. For once, I want to win this, and I want future people who have my circumstances to not go through what I went through. So, as we all know, the county fair every year is hosted in my city. I had gone there yesterday evening to use the ticket I had boughten on-line. http://www.bigfairfun.com/ I also looked at the complete list of rides so I could keep track of the rides I wanted to go on and which ones I had already gone in the past. However, the problem is that I can only go once a year because of budget reasons, so I have to choose which rides I want to sacrifice over others and leave those for next year, if they will still be there. Well, I was not expecting to find something that I have longed for ten years to be there at last.I'm not sure if I told y'all this yet, but there was a ride I was obsessed over. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gravitron Well, at the time when I was still a young child, I was not all particular in knowing the names of the rides that I went on, and hence I did not pay attention to them so I could research them. I was only nine at the time, plus I didn't have internet, let alone a computer to begin with. On Friday, July 2nd, 2004, my mum and I stumbled upon this interesting ride and we rode it. At the end I asked the operator what it was called, and he said it was a star ship or something. I would never forget the sensations I got when I rode it. It made me feel like I was lying down flat on the ground, when in reality I was still diagonal. Well, my mum and I got off. I'm not sure if you know this, but when you're young, you can't feel any tightness in your chest than when you are an adult. Tonight I felt that. This is why my mum did not like the ride at all and she would not go on it again. Well tonight, my mum and I were walking around, looking for one ride in particular, until she happened to stumble on a ride called the Thriller. She described it as being like an astronaut's house, which is like a space ship. That immediately got my attention. I knew where this was going. At last, tonight would be the day that my long-time dream would be realised, today I would have made history, and my mother agreed. She knew that I was obsessed about the ride ever since I read about it in a book that I read in 2012. You see, between 2004 and 2012, I did not even think about the ride. It was just in the back of my mind. I started growing suspicious of the ride when I researched it further, until I was absolutely certain that the ride I had heard about and the one I had been on since 2004 were exactly the same. I knew I had to do something about it. I would not rest until I found a chance to get on this ride. So, we finally went upstairs and I got inside and I walked over to the first panel to the right of the entrance. I took out my iPod and I started talking about how the Gravitron was set up, describing every texture, every move that I would soon feel. Then came the notice: My mother told me I had to get off the ride. Still recording, I reluctantly got off, asking why. My mother told me to just get off and that she would explain. I persisted until she finally told me that the operator told her I am not supposed to ride alone. All that information was enough to shatter my emotions of excitement, longing, happiness, and satisfaction to bits. First, sadness. Then sadness was taken over by anger and surprise. I tried to reason with my mum, asking why the operator thought it unsafe for me. Then she told me that they were afraid that I might get hurt. So what? Anyone else can get hurt. Were they afraid that because of my blindness,I would be more prone to get hurt than the sighted because I would not see if something happened to me, or even hear them? Maybe what they fear is being sued, but they can also be sued for discrimination against people with disabilities. I totally felt violated and more so when my mother betrayed me. She didn't take my side. She took on the side of those who told me I shouldn't ride alone. What's wrong with that? I'm twenty years old, five foot three inches, and they think that I can't be alone on this particular ride because of my blindness and hard-of-hearing? Or is there a completely different reason? I am aware that some rides require two people simply for the sake of balancing equilibrium, but I don't' think that was necessary in this case. Also, I am aware that a spotter is required, even if you are completely enabled, for certain sports. What was the operator referring to when they told my mother I shouldn't be by myself? All my mother said was that there were rules, and that I should follow them. That's when I felt betrayed. I vowed to myself and to my mother that I was not going to let them get away with it. I recorded a little bit of the words she and I had so I could use it as proof in court if I had to, but it would have been bet

Uhm no, what I mean is that the enemy transport us without ending the level, like how Rusty's first form did. Basically we kill him, his death loop plays, then the transportation happens, without the congratulations screen popping up. Useful to make a multi-fazed boss or something similar.Speaking of Rusty, I have a question: will raising our health affect him in any ways? Like make him stronger or something? I'm just too tired of dying in the fortress and inner fortress levels... Fortress? I always accidentally jump onto the instantly lethal spike next to the first corrupt sector... Inner fortress? Everyone knows why... I'm thinking that maybe if I increase my health some more, the lethal spikes won't instantly kill me... I hope. If it affects Rusty, then i won't increase my health, i guess. I now have 270 max health, 20 attack, and 20 defence. Currently in fortress with 240 something lives.

The $24 a year is incredibly reasonable for Swamp, especially since, if you don't log in for an entire month, you get that month added on to the end of your subscription. so if I don't log on at all for the whole month of July, for example, I get that extra month added onto the end. Aprone's games are brilliant, and I feel like swamp is pretty revolutionary. I donated to the game long before it became shareware, so don't assume that people wouldn't pay for it. You know what they say about assuming.

I'm not sure why you're having problems.Someone on another thread mentioned something about keeping your clock synced.To do this, you need to make sure the clock is synchronised to a time server, I think mine's set to time.windows.com.It's pretty straight forward, and can be found in the date and time settings.This is for windows, no idea how Mac does things.I'll leave that to the Mac users to explain.I do wonder what the clock has to do with BT Sync though.

The simple trick for level 10 is to listen to where the fourth teleport in his quick series will end. Center the end of that sound and attack before he runs.
