Hi all.Im sorry if Im posting this in the wrong topic.In the new year, I have de sighted to do something about audiogaming in Denmark, my country, and my goal is to translate some games into danish, if not the games then at leased descriptions, so people who dont speak english also can play the games.If all goes as planned, Ill translate Sound RTS and the Crazy mod into danish, but Im currently not sure on how much there is to translate. Now to my question:Is there any news on getting Sound rTS and the Crazy mod to work on a mac computer? If not, then Ill finally accept this, and give up on getting this to work on my Mac, both regarding to the server and the game itself. Then Ill install Windows on my server, run what Im running on my Mac OS in Windows instead, and never care about getting Sound RTS to work 
 on Mac computers again. I just wanted to ask, because this should be included in my plans. Its quite sad that it is that difficult to get the game to work on a Mac, but if theres no news about this, Ill finally accept this, and dont mess around with the Mac version again.

@Danny, the film has its moments, but does suffer a little from being a bit slapstick and hollywood and over done in places, albeit I loved Steven fry as the voice of the guide. The radio play is as I said really the original version, I cant remember if David jason was also the ship captain in the tv series but in the radio version hes hilarious, not to mention the sergeant who questions Ford and Arthur asking them what to drink like a military interrigation, his lemon! is something my friends and I still said to each other farely often.@Tom, I didnt know that about the budgit, though it isnt surprising. The problem however is your rather saying that to the wrong person sinse Classic Doctor Who was renowned for having absolutely no budgit, and yet their response was to construct essentially televised plays that explored the characters in detail. For example, in between the first ever Dalek story (called alternatively The mutan
 ts or the Daleks depending upon whom you talk to), and the historical epic Marco polo they have a wonderful little two episode story Inside the spaceship. It is entirely set in one location aboard the Tardis, although shot from various different angles. The plot is that the ship has run into trouble and is developing faults, and the Doctor, his Grand daughter Susan an the two human School Teachers Ian and barbara start to become very suspicious of each other, to the point of Susan attacking Ian with a pare of scissors. There is a suggestion that the gravitation of the star is to blaime, but its also just a purely wonderful bit of psychological horror between four characters, including the very alien and quite suspect Doctor (who at that point in his life was not altogether a heroic figure but a very alien time traveller). There are of course some sixties attitudes at work, for example both female characters are portrayed as histerically emotional, (susan in 
 particular), but they dont get in the way of what is essentially just a really good little character play. So, while I understand the lack of udgit, Im afraid it doesnt alter my sympathies as far as the series goes, they souldve just written better . Indeed, these days the reverse is more than often the case (Doctor who included0, ie, special effects are used instead of good writing. Then again I might be being too hard on original startrek, sinse the sterriotypes an slightly shallow characters werent any the worse than several in other films and tv series of the time Ive seen, it is just how the series is deyified by certain people that I find a bit ridiculous, (doctor who has certainly had its off days for all Im something of a die hard whovian). Unfortunately the only original Trek novel I have ever read was
  something called probe which was a sequel to the voyage home film (not one of the best of the films to begin with), and was pretty terrible, the bit that actually read kirk new the beautiful romulan would be an ally after he just sees a picture of her face in a dossier made me laugh out loud for its utter stupidity! . I have actually read Imzadi now you mention it, although I dont remember thinking as much to that one, then again ive never particularly been a fan of Troi or of the Troi/riker romance, all a bit to convenient and fluffy for my taste. Q squared and Vendetta were I think my favourite Peter David novels, I loved how dark Q squared got, and how the three different realities played out, with a paranoid Picard from the yesterdays enterprise war with the Klingons reality, and the second reality where Crusher was the enterprise
  captain and Picard a slightly washed up first officer having an affair with beverly. Trelane was also just plane cool, and a much better idea of what a child Q would be like I think than the Q in voyager,  his populating the Enterprise ridge with Winny the Pooh characters was awsome! I did feel the ending was a trifle off however, being a bit too quick and kneet in terms of resolution, then again Ive only read the david novels once, and even then over a slightly longer period than I wouldve done if Id got audio versions.

I dont agree Brad about Thorin Im afraid. In the book Thorins death is exclusively a moment of character, his nobility shows in how he forgives Bilbo (his if more of us valued food and cheer and song is actually something Ive quoted myself). Its just typical hollywood thinking that he has to have some over the top dragged out fight with big boss orc and his death was amazingly quick, indeed sinse his entire acting and dialogue was ridiculously over dramatic throughout the entire film I just couldnt take his death seriously at all, contrast it with Boromir in the first Lotr film and youll see what I mean. Heck, Azog wasnt particularly necessary anyway, (particulary with how he shouldve been dead 150 years before). The Hobbit was never a book about big epic action, and while the films obviously had to have some of that, it really killed the characters in the last two for me, one reason I do not ag
 ree about the dwarves in Bag end in the first film sinse to me that was just right, having a good amount of commic stuffand really showing just how stay at home and petty Bilbo was before he left with the Dwarves, one thing which made his dramatic charge of the orcs later in the film all the more heartfelt, indeed had this continued Id have loved to have Bilbo have a good fight with the spiders then conclude with the scene in the woods where he names his sword Sting, and then rescues the dwarves, taunting the spiders all the way, to say the dwarves spend three out of the books 18 chapters in Mirkwood, it didnt half seem quick in the film and what they substituted was not great. The third film wasnt quite as bad, albeit it still! was mostly just a huge battle and everything else squeezed around the sides, sometimes I think Jacksons real actors are his cg armies and his actual human actors are an afterthought :d.

Hey guys Im trying to use the sound solution plugin in radioboss. I can get the plugin to load but there is no sound comming out through the plugin. How can I fix this also NVDA for some reason doesnt like when I tab in the sound solution window because it looses focus to the window. Also what are the best settings for sound solution for FM broadcast in this plugin.

North Korea? come on, that is totally paranoid and ridiculous! it is a totally unscientific and baseless accusation to attribute random events to an external cause, especially things as natural and random as diseases, that is a totally unrealistic speculation and an unfare slur on the good people of north Korea,  especially when said plague is clearly an attempt by a consortium of major businesses to make sure that over the holidays people watch as much tellivisionas possible and thus are subjected to as many adverts as possible to insure that the maximum amount of cash is made on Christmas eeve by last minute shoppers. North korea! how ridiculous! Btw, I am going to see the Hobbit with my brother after christmas, which will be good, and give me a second look at the film, well see if it improves with a re viewing, though given how meh it was over all I dont believe so.

Hi,Im not sure how much an album would be if paying for time in the studio, so to speak, would happen. It would depend on the album, I suppose, and in that case, some of them could become very expensive. Is that, then, truly worth it? The current model would be fine if the labels wouldnt take so much of the cut. Im buying stuff from iTunes, the trouble is, I dont know how much the artists I like are truly getting. If theyre getting like ten p out of the nine pounds that I spend, well, thats rather annoying.

The funny thing about charisma is that most people thought it was useless and simply thought it was normal that pretty much everything they encountered would attack automatically. High level thieves with high charisma can often walk through an entire area with nary a scratch. Its just not obvious enough for people to think its worthwhile.

Hello Rory,Unfortunately we dont seem to have any accessible (audio, mainstream or otherwise) games where you can smash stuff up as a giant monster. I havent found any as of yet.Theres a text-based game called mecha ace where you battle with gigantic robots, but I cant remember if stuff gets smashed as you battle or if the robots just get chopped or blasted to pieces. Its been a while since Ive played.

Omega mode is here! Meaning a gameplay recording. lol For all those who have played this game to any extent before, imega mode is like SF on steroids... major steroids. As you can hear, movement speed for all the characters are increased, which brings the game to crazy speeds for SF standards... and most characters have lots of new moves and reworked mechanics. And you can tell that Sakura is not one of my most played chracters... as I lose to both Chun Lee and Hugo. Enjoy! Ken is by far one of my favorite characters to play as in omega mode. New moves include throwing fireballs with his feet in combination with kicks, a few new moves and a variation of his shippu jinrai kyaku from older games. Sakura also has a similar trick, and now has more hits added to her shouuken uppercut as well as her shippu kyaku hurricane kick. she is also one of the few characters to have new supers as well! Im not sure what youre looking for. Almost every language I can think of is sufficient for audiogames, including most that I dont know personally. Keyboard, mouse, and basic panning are really, really standard and easy to get in almost anything that runs on a system with speakers.I am primarily confused by the last part of your post: are you asking what language the big games are written in? If so, the answer is usually C++-but the games for the sighted require literally a thousand times more calculations and at least 20 times as much ram, so you dont need to put yourself through that particular hell. In fact, you simply and literally wont even be able to come close to what theyre doing in terms of sheer math and man-hours. So C++ is certainly not the answer you want.As for Purebasic, I have stated my opinions on that before and, in the interest of not devolving into that argument, Im not going to 
 do so again here. Suffice to say that I do not think that Purebasic is a good choice for anyone or anything.

I dont think there is actually a way to do that as of yet. If you use HTML5 you can get the subtitles to appear as text by clipping the captions button, but you have to read it manually. there is no automatic way to read subtitles that I know of, other than km player.

I really like this particular one because Im really into computers and stuff, I played through all 7 chapters twice since I baught it yesterday. It is amazing how much the paths can very if you design your robots differently, the first ending I got was an ending where I designed a robot body for myself and the second was at my 8-year-old suns birthday party. So yeah I would really recommend people into computers, robots etc to try this one.

I cant remember where the Caretaker guy is. My Vulpix knows no useful Fire-typed moves and according to Bulbapedia, she wont until LV 35. I only have two Rare Candies and I want her level to go up a bit faster than battles are allowing. I cant evolve her until shes got Firespin in her arsenal, and she doesnt get that until LV 42! I found the house once but there was only a pc in there, so I left it, and Ive forgotten which route its on.

If I write a story for a game, could womeone make it?

Hello everyone. So, I was watching a video about batman: Arkham City yesterday and I thought, hmm. Why dont I make my own costumed vigilante and maybe have its debut be an audiogame? But heres the catch: I have yet to create a costumed vigilante, and I dont know how to code. So, if I write an origin story or a stats card with gadgets, true identity, and powers, which mine wont have but you know what I mean, and maybe even write a storyline for the game, would someone be willing to code it? Heres kind of what I want the game to be like...1. Lots of puzzles, which I can help with. Mostly like combination locks, if my vigilante is ever trapped maybe ropes or chains to break out of, keys to find, etc.2. Platforming and grappling hook action. Since my hero is going to be based on batman quite a bit, Im going to like grappling around for my hero. So, reaching high places will be needed in order to solve some puzzles and things.3. Lots of beat-em
 -up action. Since my guy will not kill, hell need his fists and various gadgets like throwing darts, knock out gas, etc. These will be specified in the story.If anyone finds this idea intriguing, please, let me know and contact me, Ill try my best to contribute because Ive always been envious of games like Batman: Arkham Origins, God OF War, Assassins Creed, etc. Thanks, my contact information will be provided below.

I would personally use target_x-player_x, since if you do the reverse youll get the negative values of what they should be. Also you could totate both the object and the point about 0 0 by the angle of the tested object, so that if the point is within the target object, you can determine with a simple bounds check.

Hi, My fan goes really fast, and it does not go down once it goes up. It usually happens when I play entombed. To solve this issue, I have decided to consult fan speed. It detected my fan, however,I cannot configure the fan simply because I cannot see the screen! I click on readings tab, select configure, select the fans tab. It says select the fan you like, and guess what? There is just a control that NVDA calls unknown! I cannot click on it with the NVDA currsor, neither with the Mouse currsor commands. Can somebody please help me? Thank you.

Hero Name: StygianTrue Identity: Stygian is only a hero at night. By day, he is an aspiring lawyer in the fictional city of Arkshore. He lives in a large house in the oceanfront suburbs and is highly respected by his friends and coworkers.Powers: He was trained to the max in all known forms of martial arts, as well as marksmanship, endurance, and battle tactics. He has a genius level intellect, and is said to be smarter then most scientists combined.Gadgets: Due to his great wealth, he has access to gadgets and weapons to use in fighting crime, and not just in Arkshore. He favors his Stygi-darts, pure black darts that are invisible to everyone but him, using special eye implants as well as lenses in his mask. He also has a grapple gun, capable of shooting nets if need be. His gloves are infused with a stell alloy, making them lighter but also packing a greater punch when it connects. He has also infused them with an alloy with uses tiny metal spikes with spikes c
 oming off of those that can dig into whatever he touches, working for better grip, more agility when climbing and other types of combat. these same spikes are implanted in his boot toes and heels, giving him great agility. He also has Stygi-bombs, short-range EMP bombs which disrupt all electrical light in the room. Hello and a good evening to everyone,Recently, I bought nhl 2004, witch came on two discs.Ive got a little problem installing it.Ill tell you what I did so far.I inserted the first disc in to the drive and started the installation.I entered the code witch was written on the case of the cd.I chose the path where the game should be installed and declined the offer to register myself online.The instalation started, and after a few seconds, it asked me to insert disc number 2, witch I did.But heres the catsh.When I insert the disc 2, the setup says something like please wait, gamedata\required\Audmisc 34.38%Does someone know what the problem is and can tell me how to solve this?Greetings Moritz

If you want someone to code a game for you, you have to give them extremely meticulous detail. You are basically giving them a user guide plus a lot extra so that they know exactly how to code your game. This often includes things that the end user wouldnt know about such as physics, or processing save files or level data. Youll have to find sounds, but thats a lot easier to do than coding.

hi all. i am on route 11 now, but cant seemto find a wa out. according to the walkthrough of red and blue pokemon, there is supposed to be a tree on th far east side of route 11, but i cant find it. i seem to be able to hear the gate house door sound, at the eastern side of route 11, but cant find a way in. and i cant find any tree with items like the walkthrough says either. the only way out of route 11 seems to be the cave that i can enter just a little northeast of the entrance to route 11 from vemilian city. and that cave eventually leads me to route 2. is the walkthrough that i read not applicable to this version of the game? any other walk throughs that u guys can recommend me that is closer to this version of the game? because since i found the walkthough and tried following it, quite a number of things doesnt seem the same. i was supposed to find some pokemon fan club member and listen to him talk and get some voucher from him in vemilia
 n city, but i dont seem to get anything from him/her other telling that his/her pokemon is cute. and that house has a picacho in it. can someone help me proceed?

Route 11 is a dead end right now. You have to go back to Cerulean City, enter the house with the back door, and cut down the two trees in the backyard (while not jumping down the ledge) to get onto Route 9. You can then go east to Route 10 and Rock Tunnel, which will take you to Lavender Town. From there you can get to Celadon City, which is the only other city with a gym that is currently accessible. The Walkthrough isnt fully applicable to this game, but Rachels working on it. Can someone tell me where the Caretaker Man is? I would really like to know.

An early christmas present

Hi, the original launch date for death match a new beginning was set for christmas day, however since it appears to be stable with only a few bugs, we have decided to launch early for an early public beta. Please read below for release notes. We have tested the game with jaws, nvda, and sapi. At the current time, sapi seems to be in operable, not sure why this is. Jaws appears to work with the game, however in my brief testrun with it, the game lagd a lot when jaws was running, any workarounds suggested would be grate. This is a roleplaying game. You dont half to roleplay if you dont want too, but we do ask that you at least pick a good name when on the server, and that you be nice to other players. And with out further ado, https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/266 … bsetup.exe BTW since im still trying to figure out passwords and such, if you are a new player and you loged onto a player that was already created, just log back out and in. Also note, that sometimes the typing system is a little unresponcive, so if your name doesnt appear to work after you created a character, log out and keep trying until you get on the right character. Oh, and read the information.txt file thats in the games main directory. It contains some useful guides and getting started tips, thanks to defender writing it up for us and incorporating several of our guides. Enjoy!

Ah... Hmm.BGT supports the mouse. Previously, this feature was only in the pro versions, but now that BGT is freeware, you can use this feature for free.If you do not understand how to make an enemy with BGT, I dont think switching to C++ will help.

At Key, I know. I just needed to give people an idea of what its gonna be like. And terminator, NO. Gamebooks are WAAAYYY to common. I could make a gamebook, but we have like 150 of them already, even more than that.

Hello. This looks like a really cool game so far. I was playing for a while, then I came back and checked the thread and saw that you posted an update. So I downloaded the new version, logged in, created a ship, but now I cant seem to find it. I was given the coordinates upon buying it, but those corrds lead me to a different ship. I tried using d to locate it, but the list was either extremely long, or repeating itself before it got to my ship.No matter, Ill try again in a few minutes.
